“Kozue is a wonderful kind walker to our dog Theo. She is always prompt, reliable and also very flexible in case of emergencies. She also is an amazing dog photographer! I save all her photos.”

“Tali had a great walk with Maggie! I appreciated that she came over to meet Tali earlier in the week before the walk and Tali loved her instantly. She was flexible with some time changes and kept me updated after the walk sharing lots of pictures. Will absolutely continue to have Maggie walk my pup!”

“Julia walked my two dogs all summer while I was working. From the beginning, Julia took the time to make sure she understood my (very detailed!) preferences, always made sure she got things right, and was accommodating for schedule changes and when we moved. Julia was such a big help and I could entrust her with walking my two fur-babies. She is great!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for a majority of my life. My friends and extended family rely on me when they go out of town. My family and I will always pick up (and house) any stray/lost dogs we see so I have experience with all types of dogs and breeds. Weekdays work best for me. My schedule is quite flexible. I deal with animals in my everyday life and i’m more than happy to meet more! I have one friendly cat and one energetic dog, with a big and spacious back yard for them. I myself am energetic so I can match any pet’s energy.
“Lucy was great and communicative! She placed Mosby’s wrap on correctly so he wasn't able to slide it off and came on time. Will definitely book again.”

About: I love all dogs, but I've grown up taking care of primarily large dogs like Pitbulls. My neighbors rely on me very often to take care of their pets when needed. I currently have a very flexible schedule while I am going to college online. I am available during the week and some weekends! Pet care is already built into my daily routine, so please let me know how I can make your day easier by spending some time with your fur baby. During the walks your fur baby is my main focus. I love going for long walks to get some energy out, but short walks are also nice. I walk my sweet dog separately from other fur babies to alleviate the stress of dog introductions.

About: As a recent GW magna cum laude graduate and longtime resident of the DC-metro area, I have the ability and experience to provide quality care services to you and your beloved pet by maintaining a strong, balanced routine while you are away. As the former owner of a senior dog, I excel at meeting medication standards during feeding and scanning dogs for tics and other external-borne threats. As an NYC native, I have over 10 years of experience dog-walking in urban areas, especially in maintaining dog safety from foot and vehicle traffic. By combining a strong work (and play) ethic with a passionate love for all dogs, I am a safe bet to care for your canine companion! I’m currently living in the DC metro area after completing a BA at GWU. I will be headed to Ireland for graduate school in the fall, and until then, my schedule is completely free to care for your canine family! I live in a residential coop with a park and open green spaces for your dog to play off-leash (if trained). As a former collegiate athlete, I can reach any level of demanded exercise for your dog.

“Lynne has a fun and delightful personality and she is clearly a dog lover. Having Lynne walk my dog Naka midday has been a huge lift off my shoulder and I’ve noticed a happier Naka when I come from work.”

“Anne did a wonderful job walking my dog, Greyson. She provided detailed updates and pictures after each walk and was really sweet and caring when interacting with Greyson. I’d highly recommend her and will definitely book her again.”

“Ashley has been walking my dog for a few months and she is amazing!! She’s super quick to respond to requests and always sends pics from walks. My dog loves her too - would highly recommend her services!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs/cats of all sizes and temperaments. I will make sure your dog/cat feels happy ad relaxed while you are away! Get ready for lots of love and playtime. Safety and comfort are my top priorities! My routines are set. I am available mostly on weekdays and weekends. I am pretty flexible when it comes to available hours. It will just depend on the client location whether I can also have availabilities early in the morning or late in the evening. I will care for your pets in my home and I am available for drop in visits. I will meet your pets first and do a walkthrough to understand what needs to be done.
“Hannah was great getting Logan moving in the middle of the day while I was at work. She's super responsive and was a huge help to me in my first week back in the office.”

“Sophie has amazing patience. Despite my dog’s reluctance to having his leash put on; Sophie went above and beyond with me on the phone for twenty minutes to lure him from under the bed. 🙏🙏🙏”

“Simone did a great job with our elderly dachshund—she was patient and kind and he had great walks with her! She went above and beyond—we would definitely request her services again.”
“Thea has been amazing with my dog, Elmo. He’s a bit hyper and she has been fantastic walking him, she’s consistent, and she is very communicative. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker!”

“Anne has been a godsend since my return to the office 5 days a week. She is a great communicator and sends really cute photos. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and each experience has taught me how to be patient, loving, and responsible. I looked after my sweet poodle for 17 years, especially when she grew older and developed Alzheimer’s. It was a challenging time, but I cared for her with all my heart. I also helped care for dogs adopted by my family. My elderly aunt adopted a street dog named Fred, and since she couldn’t manage walks and vet visits on her own, I was the one who took care of him. Later, my grandmother adopted another rescue named Bruce, and I became his main walking companion because of her limited mobility. Currently, I live with my host family, and they have a wonderful rescue dog named Rosie. Whenever they travel, I’m fully responsible for her care — from walks to cuddles — and she has truly become my best friend. These experiences taught me how to adapt to the unique needs of each dog, whether they’re seniors, rescues, or playful companions. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently have a very flexible routine, which allows me to adapt easily to your pet’s needs. I can adjust my schedule to make sure they’re cared for and happy. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety and comfort. I make sure to follow their usual routines, from feeding and walks to playtime and rest, so they feel secure and at ease. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and I’m always careful with doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks. Whether in my client’s home or with a pet I’m sitting, I treat their space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, so I do everything with responsibility and care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clarendon-Courthouse
Herme has been absolutely wonderful with my German Shepherd, Moose. From day one, he’s been reliable, caring, and incredibly communicative. I really appreciate the detailed updates and observations he shares after each walk—it gives me complete peace of mind knowing Moose is in such good hands. Moose clearly enjoys his time with Herme, and it’s obvious that Herme genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I trust him completely and never hesitate to book him whenever I need someone to care for Moose. If you’re looking for someone dependable, attentive, and great with dogs, I can’t recommend Herme highly enough!
Ann is an exceptional dog walker. I have an elderly dog and Ann was very attuned to how she was feeling, how much she wanted to walk, and just followed her lead. Ann is a great communicator, sending me numerous pictures and written updates after each walk (three times a day). She is organized, friendly, is great with dogs, and makes sure everyone is on the same page. She coordinated with my cousin where my dog was staying. Rosie was very happy and relaxed when I went to pick her up.
