About: I have loved dogs since I could remember. I’ve had pups of my own and currently have a small Yorkie who I adore, but grew up with a German shepherd who was the best. I’m a nurse and am looking to maximize my puppy time on my time off! I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I’m more than happy to administer medication if needed. Whatever you need, I’m here for you! I’m happy to do drop ins, walks, feeding, whatever you need! I only work 3 days per week and have a lot of flexibility for morning and mid day walks. I live in a pet friendly building with a dog run. I’m happy to crate your pups if that is how they feel safest. I have one 7 year old Yorkie.

I have worked as the Assistant General Manager at Dogtopia Alexandria for 2 years. We were voted #1 store in North America in 2016 and 2017! I have tons of experience with all types of breeds and personalities, from outgoing, high energy pups to the more reserved and anxious pups. I will provide them with the exercise, care, support and love they need while their Pack Leaders are out of town! I currently have a sweet French Bulldog that will become your pups best friend! Growing up I had two German Shepherds and a Sheltie. I love dogs and am a big believer in “It’s a dog’s world, we just live in it.” I am currently working from home Wednesday through Fridays - so your pup will get a walk first thing in the morning, just after lunch and later in the evening at a minimum. If it’s a Monday or Tuesday, your pup will get an early morning walk, early afternoon then an evening walk at a minimum. I would require a meet and greet ahead of any booking. While out of town I will provide daily updates and as many pictures as I can!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for my friends and family for over 12 years and it’s one of my favorite hobbies. As a graduate student, I love looking after my friend’s animals and taking them for long walks around the city and parks (I even took my neighbor’s pet rat on a walk once!). I have lengthy experience with safe leashed walking on both city and nature routes (I trained my own puppy to be peaceful on the leash many years ago) as well as caring for multi-pet households. Whenever I walk animals or petsit, I love to send photos and updates about our time together so you can know how they are doing while you are away. Outside of providing the perfect ear scratch, I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and dogs and hope to be able to meet your animal as well! Thank you for checking out my profile :) I work in clinic during week days from 7am-3pm and am available for walks and check ins during early mornings and evenings, as well as anytime during the weekend! When I watch other people’s pets, I treat them as if they were my own and provide them the same attention, love, and enrichment that I would provide if I were watching my own fur babies. When ever I go to someone else’s home to check in on their animals, I am cognizant of “leaving no trace behind” and approaching pets with calmness and friendliness so that they can continue to feel comfortable in their home. For walking services, I always carry poop bags and pay attention to the dog’s cues to see make sure they are having a nice time and not feeling overstimulated or stressed by their environment.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and each experience has taught me how to be patient, loving, and responsible. I looked after my sweet poodle for 17 years, especially when she grew older and developed Alzheimer’s. It was a challenging time, but I cared for her with all my heart. I also helped care for dogs adopted by my family. My elderly aunt adopted a street dog named Fred, and since she couldn’t manage walks and vet visits on her own, I was the one who took care of him. Later, my grandmother adopted another rescue named Bruce, and I became his main walking companion because of her limited mobility.
