“Hannah was great getting Logan moving in the middle of the day while I was at work. She's super responsive and was a huge help to me in my first week back in the office.”

About: Fostered animals (dogs, puppies, cats, kittens) with the RHSPCA while in college and want to continue caring for animals post-grad! I have experience treating animals with various medical conditions (blindness, oral medication, topical medication). I love going on walks but my cat is not a fan so would love to take a dog along:) I work from home and take walks early in the morning (7am) and noon during my lunch break. I am also available after my working hours at 5pm. I am an animal lover and make sure my pets are well-cared for. I want to ensure every animal is safe, happy, and fed. I love to bring dogs on enriching walks and to make sure they’ve gotten the proper amount of exercise for their breed.
About: My family has had a dog for the past 8 years. I am experienced in caring for dogs, taking them on walks, feeding them, and making sure they have company! I am currently in between jobs and very available throughout the next few months. I can drop by to feed, walk, play with, and care for your animal. For cats- I am always super cautious when opening apartment/house doors. Very aware that some animals are ready to try to dart out! While caring for your pet, I make sure to check the surroundings to ensure nothing has changed or can pose a danger to the animal.
“Sarah came by on short notice and was great with Benji, taking lots of pictures and giving him a longer walk than I probably would have. Huge help while we're adjusting to the new city.”

“Julia is excellent. Very communicative, timely, and most of all, gave Camden a great walk and lots of love! We loved getting her feedback on the walk and several pics of Camden.”

“Anne did a great job communicating her availability and being timely on our scheduled walks. She also followed our requests to walk certain routes and handled Biscuit's route preferences and hesitations during the walk well. I really appreciate her patience and professionalism to keeping us in the loop on GPS tracking and his status during the walk. Thanks Anne!”

About: I love pets because I cherish the special bond between a human and a pet even when none of them speak the same language :) I have had a cat for 8 years and could watch friends dogs for over a year I really enjoy walking with a dog because it makes me feel zen and happy! I currently have a part time and remote job, so I have a flexible schedule. I can easily plan my day around walks, feeding, and spending time with pets. I make sure they get consistent attention and care throughout the day. I live a in a safe neighborhood with close dog parks. I stick to each pet’s usual routine as much as possible. In your home, I follow your instructions closely. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for wherever they are.
“Julia literally gave our dog an extra cashmere sweater she had to keep him warm on his walks in the snow! She is incredible and has the biggest heart! Every morning Banx waits for her by the door- he can’t wait for his walks!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, I’ve owned a fish, 7+ rabbits, 2 hamsters, a turtle, a chick, and currently own 2 dogs. I’ve petsit for mainly friends, I’ve housed a dog until we could find him a home. I also have experience with Guinea pigs and cats. My current schedule is very open and I have lots of availability! I am available almost daily now and will have lots of time for your fur babies. When I walk dogs I love to play with them and pet them before doing anything else so that they feel more comfortable with me being in their home. Then I clean their diapers and wash/replace their food bowls. Then I will take them for a 30min-1 hour walk and when we return back home I like to give them play time if time allows.
“Amanda is incredibly responsible, thoughtful, and such a dog person. Rosie was in love with her at first sight. Lucky to have her as part of my "dog team."”

About: I believe in the Golden Rule of Pet Care: I will treat your pets as I would treat my own. I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up in a home with dogs and now caring for three cats of my own for over 12 years. That experience has given me a strong understanding of how different every pet can be, from energetic and social, to shy and anxious. I understand that “pets” are truly members of the family. What I offer is thoughtful, individualized care. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they feel safe and at ease while you’re away. During visits, I’m attentive and engaged. Whether that means walks, playtime, or simply keeping your furry baby company so they don’t feel alone. My time with your dog or cat is special, so I won't be scrolling on my phone during our visits (except to send you photos and updates!). I’m also detail-oriented when it comes to feeding routines, home care, and maintaining a clean, stress-free environment. You can expect consistent communication and updates, so you always know how your dog or cat is doing. My goal is to provide reliable, high-quality care that gives both you and your pets complete peace of mind. Ideal for weekday walks and midday check-ins while you’re at work! Fits naturally into your routine. Monday through Friday for morning and midday visits (before 5 PM) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Since I provide care in your home, I want to make sure to follow your house rules and your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walk routines, or favorite play activities. Let’s discuss specifics.
“Carolina has been great. She came out to meet our dog, Max, and was not at all put off by his size (95 pounds) or energy (overly enthusiastic), which can be intimidating. She keeps us posted on all of his walks, and (most importantly) Max seems very happy with the arrangement.”

About: I’ve been a dog dad for the last 9 years to a Cavachon and have recently experienced a change that allows me to help other pup parents in my spare time. I’d love to hang out with yours and bring some joy to both of our lives! I have my own business and am flexible, so I’m able, and happy, to walk and hang out with your dog. I’m here to help, especially during the upcoming busy summer travel season. I have a fenced in yard (keep them on leash, if preferred) and allow them to sleep in my house to their comfort. Happy to follow the parent’s rules - whatever they’re comfortable with.
About: I have hands-on experience with pets of all energy levels and personalities—from my family’s energetic chihuahua mix to two relaxed cats. As a graduate student in the city, I’m patient, attentive, and committed to giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I adapt my care to each pet’s personality, whether playful, independent, or calm, and I follow instructions closely to ensure their routines are maintained. As a full-time graduate student with a part-time job, I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate consistent, focused time to pets. Caring for animals fits naturally into my week because I prioritize it like any important commitment. I enjoy walks, playtime, and quiet companionship, ensuring pets feel loved, safe, and comfortable while their humans are away I provide care primarily in the client’s home so pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all instructions closely, maintain routines, and provide plenty of attention. I also take dogs on walks around the neighborhood when appropriate. While I haven’t yet handled pets who require complex or frequent medical care, I’m experienced with giving routine medication, and I’m attentive, reliable, and focused on providing excellent care for everyday needs.
Riverwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Natasha is an absolute lifesaver! I reached out last minute after an unexpected work event came up, and she responded almost immediately — no hesitation, just a quick "I've got you." That kind of responsiveness means everything when you're scrambling. But what really stood out was how she treated Boey. She didn't just walk him and call it a day — she spent extra time playing with him and genuinely getting to know him. You could tell it wasn't just a job for her. She's compassionate in a way that's hard to find, and Boey was in great hands the whole time. Highly recommend Natasha — especially if you ever need someone you can count on in a pinch. Will 100% hire again!
