About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and each experience has taught me how to be patient, loving, and responsible. I looked after my sweet poodle for 17 years, especially when she grew older and developed Alzheimer’s. It was a challenging time, but I cared for her with all my heart. I also helped care for dogs adopted by my family. My elderly aunt adopted a street dog named Fred, and since she couldn’t manage walks and vet visits on her own, I was the one who took care of him. Later, my grandmother adopted another rescue named Bruce, and I became his main walking companion because of her limited mobility. Currently, I live with my host family, and they have a wonderful rescue dog named Rosie. Whenever they travel, I’m fully responsible for her care — from walks to cuddles — and she has truly become my best friend. These experiences taught me how to adapt to the unique needs of each dog, whether they’re seniors, rescues, or playful companions. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently have a very flexible routine, which allows me to adapt easily to your pet’s needs. I can adjust my schedule to make sure they’re cared for and happy. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety and comfort. I make sure to follow their usual routines, from feeding and walks to playtime and rest, so they feel secure and at ease. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and I’m always careful with doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks. Whether in my client’s home or with a pet I’m sitting, I treat their space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, so I do everything with responsibility and care.

I have a flexible schedule and committed to ensuring pets feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for while their families are away. I have recently graduated from William & Mary and have an open schedule with the flexibility to walk, feed, care, and tend to your pet during your preferred times of day. I am also available to house sit and stay overnight with your pet. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I will take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to give you peace of mind and ensure the needs of your pet are prioritized. I will provide updates, send photos of your pet, and communicate clearly. About: I spent a month caring for an elderly dog back in college. I ensured she received her daily medications and took her on walks on the icy Midwest winter sidewalks. She was a joy to spend time with! I currently work part time and on my own schedule, so I am flexible and able to schedule a visit that can meet your fur-baby’s needs! I wake up early and am available in the mornings and in the afternoons, and also can make time for nighttime visits. For the time being, I offer drop in services and dog walking. I am happy to arrange with you the best possible care for your pet and learn more about how to care for your unique fur-baby! Please tell me your needs and wishes and we will communicate and create a plan together. I am happy to send photos and updates of your pet at the frequency you would like! (By the way, I am known for my photography and have been complimented on the photos I take of pets not only because they are adorable but also because they capture the essence of their personality)

About: I have been around all kinds of cats and dogs. I’ve been petsitting in my neighborhood since the summer of 2019. I am offering overnight services! My schedule varies throughout the year, but I’m generally flexible and will work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs! I prefer not to bring any pets into my home. However, I am more comfortable with staying overnight in the owner’s home with the pets!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, I’ve owned a fish, 7+ rabbits, 2 hamsters, a turtle, a chick, and currently own 2 dogs. I’ve petsit for mainly friends, I’ve housed a dog until we could find him a home. I also have experience with Guinea pigs and cats. My current schedule is very open and I have lots of availability! I am available almost daily now and will have lots of time for your fur babies. When I walk dogs I love to play with them and pet them before doing anything else so that they feel more comfortable with me being in their home. Then I clean their diapers and wash/replace their food bowls. Then I will take them for a 30min-1 hour walk and when we return back home I like to give them play time if time allows.

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: Growing up I always owned animals as I love all kinds of animals from big to small. It was always my dream to own a dog or a cat and ever since getting my very first dog in middle school, I learned a lot about what it takes to give love and handle an animal with care and attention. I would love to take care of your animal just as if it were my own as I own a cat myself and am fostering cats when I can. I am also an active volunteer for the rescue organization here in nova called 4paws. I believe that all animals deserve the best. I have several years of experience taking care of animals/pets and will follow any specific needs that your pet requires. I will promise to go above and beyond for your pet to make sure that you and your pet are more than happy! I currently take care of my cat at home. I work from home as well so I have plenty of time to drop in for visits or walks. I enjoy volunteering at the shelter when I have time and doing Rover requests as I get them. I provide a lot of toys and cat trees at home for my own cat and will make sure your pet is provided all of their needs.

About: I own a dog of 10 years, so I have plenty of experience taking care of a happy and healthy pet. I deeply understand what keeps a dog in great spirits. I feel an emphasis on play and experiences with a pet can elevate the relationship between owner and pet. I'm very flexible, all I need is a day's notice. I can work just about any hour of the day. If anything were to change suddenly, my client would be the first to know. My dog lives in my home and has a nice fenced yard to run around in. He goes on daily walks and gets plenty of exercise and play. He is also fed twice a day. I would bring the same energy for my client's dogs.
