About: I’ve been around dogs for years and have experience caring for dogs for family, friends and neighbors. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime and keeping dogs company. I’m responsible, patient and always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I’d love to give your dog some extra attention while you’re away or busy! I currently work just one hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon, which gives me a very flexible schedule. About: I previously owned a wonderful dog named Ollie, who taught me just how important love, patience, and routine are when it comes to pet care. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I am readily available to give your dog long walks, playtime, or simply lots of attention and cuddles. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and have gates that I can setup inside the house if need be. I will follow any instructions given for the care of your pet.

“Juan took care of our Bruno during a week long trip with twice a day walks in our neighborhood and he was attentive to Bruno’s physical and social needs. He followed instructions well without being able to meet in person. He communicated throughout our trip and made sure we knew if anything came up out of the normal. He offered reasonable adjustments to schedule based on what he saw fitting for Bruno. I could tell that Juan cared for Bruno and Bruno was in good hands. My housemate told me that Bruno was more excited to see Juan than anyone else in the house. As long as Juan is available I will look to him to take care of Bruno when needed.”

To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

About: Hi, I'm Haley! I recently moved to Northern Virginia from Metro Detroit for work and am excited to get to know the area—one dog walk at a time! I've been a dog lover my entire life and grew up with multiple dogs. Back home, I have a 3-year-old Golden Retriever/Lab mix named Creed, who is truly my best friend. Since moving, I've really missed having dogs around, which is one of the reasons I joined Rover. Starting in high school, I regularly dog sat and cared for pets for several families in my neighborhood. Whether they were away on vacation or just needed an extra hand, I helped with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure their pets felt loved and comfortable while they were gone. I'm very active and love being outdoors, so long walks, runs, and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy. My work schedule as a medical device representative varies from day to day, so no two weeks look exactly the same. Because of that, I often have weekdays where I finish work early and have plenty of time available for dog walks and pet care. I also don't work weekends, which means I'm available throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. I keep my Rover calendar up to date so you'll always know my availability before booking. Since I currently offer dog walking services, my goal is to make every walk safe, fun, and tailored to your dog's needs and energy level. I am going to school currently and taking classes online 4 days out of the week I treat the home like it is should not be damaged in way.
