“Hannah was great getting Logan moving in the middle of the day while I was at work. She's super responsive and was a huge help to me in my first week back in the office.”

“Elise has been walking my dog for several months now, and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is great with Remy and does such a phenomenal job at communicating! I always feel comfortable knowing she’s with him.”

“Anne has been a godsend since my return to the office 5 days a week. She is a great communicator and sends really cute photos. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah came by on short notice and was great with Benji, taking lots of pictures and giving him a longer walk than I probably would have. Huge help while we're adjusting to the new city.”

“Justin was wonderful! He sent check-in each time he walked and fed our dog Juni, and he clearly enjoyed spending time with her. We were happy to know he’s walked a few of our neighbors’ dogs too, so he was very comfortable with the neighborhood. I will definitely be hiring him again!”

About: My first "real job" was being a dog walker, where I would walk a cocker spaniel named Gonzo after school for 3 years. Since then I have dog and cat sat for neighbors through the years, both for short weekend trips and for longer multi-week trips requiring me to house sit as well. I fostered my first kitten for a month while in college, and helped foster over 30 cats and kittens during the pandemic since I had a little extra time on my hands. Over the past two years I have been pet/house sitting most months. I have watched everything from one dog or one cat for 4 days, to two cats and a dog for 2.5 weeks. I've watched puppies and kittens from 4 weeks old and on, and dogs and cats as old as 14 years. The actual breeds have been all over the place, but in terms of dog size I've watched everything from small terriers and daschhounds to huge labs and german shepherds. In addition to owning and caring for a goldendoodle for 11 years, I've also done a lot of pet sitting for my parents 6 year old rescue hound/lab mix and 4 year old rescue short-haired cat. While watching your dog(s) or cat(s) I would rearrange my schedule as needed to prioritize giving most of my attention to your pet(s). I work remote and generally have a flexible schedule, so I could feed/walk/care for your pet(s) following whatever schedule they are used to. I don't work on the weekends and would be able to dedicate any needed time on weekends to caring for your pet(s)! I am happy to care for your pet in your home the same way you typically do so that they maintain the same routine. Whether that means letting your dog(s) out in a fenced backyard, taking them for neighborhood or trail walks, going to a dog park, or following standard crate rules. Similarly for cats, I am happy to maintain the same feeding schedule, whether it's wet or dry food, and clean the litter box regularly. And of course, give your pets all the scratches and attention they want!
“Guiselle took great care of Lola! She was prompt and very responsive and sent lots of photos. She also took Lola on different routes every walk which I’m sure made Lola very happy to have some new scenery to check out! We would use her again and highly recommend her!”

“Dominique was great with Bear! He accommodated Bear’s grumpiness and was attentive to my concerns! He went above and beyond! Highly recommend him as your walker!”

About: Hi everyone 👋 my name is Jenni and my experience with animals started when I was young. I grew up with dogs all my life and had a Lhasa Apso and Pitbull/Akita mix as my first dogs but now have 2 cats. My boyfriend has his own pet sitting/pet boarding business where I regularly help out. I have 19 years of experience taking care of all kinds of dogs and cats, including, young and senior pets. I have experience in administering oral, ear, and eye medication. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Looking forward to working with you and building long lasting friendships and partnerships with you and your pet. 🌞 Pet care fits into my schedule very well as I work locally which gives me the option to work remotely or in person. Therefore, I have a flexible schedule to adjust to the times you need help with. The care I provide for the animals that I will be watching while in their house is following the same schedule routine and safety plans the owners have for their own pet. During the meet & greet I love to learn about the owners pets so I can make sure to give the same quality of care that the owners give☺️

About: I have been passionately caring for dogs since high school, gaining hands in experience with pups of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. Having had multiple family dogs has made me comfortable and taught me foundations for compassionate pet care. In college I completed service dog training from puppies to graduation! I am equipped with higher leveled handling skills, deep patience, and the ability to manage complex behavioral needs, reactivity, or high-energy dogs. Whether your dog requires structured behavioral reinforcement, gentle senior care, or just a fun, safe, and reliable companion while you’re away, I am completely comfortable adapting to their unique needs. I treat every dog with the same dedication and professional care as a working dog, while making sure they get all the love and belly rubs of a family pet. I am currently working part-time remotely so my schedule stays pretty flexible. There are certain evenings that I would be unavailable for a different job, but will be blocked out prior. When caring for dogs, you can expect a calm, structured and highly attentive approach tailored specifically to your dogs, age, energy and temperament. Whether your pup thrives on active exercise or needs gentle, low stress, companionship, I prioritize safety, clear boundaries and positive reinforcement during every interaction my background and service dog training means I naturally reinforced leash manners, provide mental enrichment and remain hyper attentive to dog body language to ensure a secure stress-free experience after every visit or stay you will receive a detailed update covering exercise, bathroom, habits, and high-quality photos showing your dog, happy and comfortable For feline clients, my care centers entirely on patient routine and respecting their individual comfort levels. I always let each cat set the pace offering lively playtime with Juan toys for social kitties or quiet, not intrusive companionship for those who are shy or cautious, having managed delicate environmental transitions, and introductions. I focus on minimizing stress, maintaining feeding and lit routine, routines and closely observing subtle shifts in behavior or appetite. You can rely on consistent detail check-in with daily photos, so you have complete peace of mind that your cat unique needs and boundaries are fully honored while you are away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Olde Glebe
Sidney has been walking my dog for two months. She is very dependable and shows up at the agreed time. She also provides notes regarding the walks with pictures. She is kind to my dog and has an overall friendly demeanor. I am sorry that she won't be able to walk Holly after the middle of September.

Lucy was an amazing walker! She took our foster dog DD on some fun walks and DD loved her. She came on time (or early! ) which DD was very happy about. And she put out her food after. Was quiet not to wake our family who is still asleep at 6:30am. :) We’d love for her to walk for us again!

Kelly is a great walker and companion to our dog Ducky! We had originally hired Kelly for 3 days a week - Ducky gets so excited when Kelly arrives, and he comes home happy and tired (in a good way) after each walk! Kelly is also very informative, adding details on each walk and letting us know of anything else after returning
