“Drew was great with my “quirky” dogs while I was out of town. She took great care of them. She was on time, provided photos, kept me informed, etc. I would definitely use Drew again in the future.”

“Very nice and professional. Amber went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were comfortable with her. Our hyper pitbull puppy wasn't to much for her. Both dogs took a liking to Amber immediately. Both were fighting for her attention. My wife and I definitely will use Amber again.”

“Maria did a wonderful job caring for my cat while I was away! She is such a kind and calming presence, which I know put my cat at ease without me there. Updates were frequent and very detailed, giving me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend booking with Maria and I for sure will be again!”

“Aimee - was very easy to communicate with, responsive and professional. I felt my kitties were well taken care of while I was gone. Really appreciated Aimee’s flexibility on when to come over. All in all great experience!”

“This is our second time booking with Mya and she did such an amazing job like always! She went above and beyond , our cats made a mess and broke some flower pots and she took the time to make sure everything was clean and tidy. Highly recommend her to anyone!”

“I can’t recommend Lily enough!! This was my first time out of town since my cat was diagnosed with diabetes, and Lily made the entire experience a breeze. She was thorough and detailed with every visit, and left lots of pictures!! My cats immediately loved her and I will definitely be using Lily in the future!!”

About: I was born into a family of pet lovers so taking care of animals is second nature! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages, including those requiring special attention and medication. I'd love to spoil your pets and tend to all their needs! I am a college student home for the summer with a part-time job. Outside of that commitment, I have lots of availability to help with your pets! I will ensure that your pets remain in their designated spaces in your home. I will be sure to closely follow all of your specific instructions.
“Spencer & Julia took great care of my cat and provided a ton of photos during their time with him! They offered plenty of pets, treats, and cuddles and gave me peace of mind while I was on vacation!”

About: I grew up in a home that was constantly fostering dogs, puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve helped care for shy rescues, energetic puppies, senior hospice dogs, big breeds, little breeds, and pets needing extra patience and structure. Through fostering and daily care, I gained experience reinforcing training routines, reading canine body language, and handling dogs respectfully based on their individual needs and comfort levels. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’m experienced with: • Dog walking • Cat sitting • Overnight pet care • High energy dogs • Senior pets • Rescue animals & anxious pets • Reinforcing basic training routines • Reactive or dog selective dogs • Multi pet households I’m active, reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I understand that not every dog wants to greet people or other dogs on walks, and I’m always mindful of giving pets the space, structure, and calm environment they need to feel comfortable and safe. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, consistency, or just someone dependable while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’ll be available in Arlington, VA, this summer and in San Diego this fall, and I have reliable transportation. My goal is simple: make your pets feel safe, loved, exercised, and happy, and make you feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am in Arlington, VA, for the summer and in San Diego for college during the fall! I work part-time over the summer for the St.James ice hockey program. Starting June 15th, I will only be free after 4 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I will be available to stay overnight on weekends. I have experience in caring for animals with a variety of personalities. I have adopted many animals over the years, and my most recent dog is a Belgian Malinois! He is full of energy and likes going on runs, walks, playing fetch, and anything that involves hours of constant activity. I have had dogs ranging from 3-week-old puppies to a 160-pound mastiff. I have had cats all my life and have bottle-fed multiple litters. I enjoy working with local animal shelters and would love to let your animal steal my heart 😊
About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
About: Hi there! I grew up loving dogs, in fact, my older sibling was our family German Shepard! She made sure I was safe, and I made sure she was well loved! I understand how important four-legged family members are. I will provide your fur baby with the same level of care I would want for my own. I LOVE dogs and they love me! I have owned and cared for a full range of dogs. You can feel relaxed with your pet in my care, whether a baby or mature pet, I’ve handled them all! Also, as an experienced foster mom, I am fully comfortable and capable of handling newly adopted or foster dogs, and shy/timid dogs. I have no breed or size restrictions. All furry friends are welcome! Whatever you and your pet need, I am here to help. Currently, I am focused only on dog sitting. Although I tend to schedule tasks when I am not caring for a dog, if I need to run an errand, pups are never left alone for more than one to two hours. My home is very pet friendly and safe. Your fur baby is more than welcome to hang out with me on the couch or on the bed! Let my love of pets help you feel secure in your fur baby's safety and well-being.
“Arianna is absolutely amazing! She took care of our two dogs for six days, and we couldn't be happier with her service. Every morning, she arrived right on time (her check-ins were always prompt), fed them, and took them on walks. She kept us updated by posting at least four pictures daily and responded immediately to any of our messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. In the evenings, she would check in again, sending more pictures and updates. It was clear our dogs adored her! Arianna even went above and beyond by pulling packages off our porch and washing our senior dog's bedding. Her care and attention to detail were truly exceptional. We will absolutely be calling on her again in the future. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

About: I'm the proud owner of a chocolate lab and go-to sitter of three precious cats! I'm very active and able to take your pets on long walks. I'm currently a college student on summer break, so I am free to watch, play with, and walk your pets every day of the week! Your pets will be my #1 priority! I have a well loved chocolate lab at home, so I know how to take care of dogs! For my clients, I value communication. You will know all about how your pet is doing, and I will follow their pre-existing routine as closely as possible! Let me know any rules, diet restrictions, and preferences so I can do my best. I prefer to dogsit in your home to reduce the amount of stress your pet feels while you're away!
“Kaitlyn did a great job with my kitties again! She sent great updates and pictures and I can tell she gave them plenty of attention because they barely even registered that I was back. Thanks Kaitlyn!”
“Jessica did a wonderful job with my very shy cat. She was patient and persistent until my cat gradually opened up to her. Jessica was very reliable in feeding my cat on schedule and sending me pictures on a daily basis, even if the pic was only one of my cat hiding under the bed!”

Olde Glebe pet parents share their Rover experiences
Morgan was great with Winston! He seemed to take to her right away. She took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand and was great about handling his medications including a daily pill and as needed topical treatment. She was always good about including a little description and pictures after each visit. We felt very confident that he was in good hands.

Guiselle took a great care of my cat Hummer during her drop in visits. She kept me updated with photos and messages which gave me peace of mind. Guiselle had an instant connection with Hummer and he clearly enjoyed her company. I will happily book with Guiselle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.
