“This is the third time we have booked Amber for drop-in visits. She is an excellent pet sitter. Our dog is nervous around strangers. Amber has made him feel at ease and he looks forward to seeing her. She communicates frequently and always sends photos. We very much appreciate Amber and will definitely book her again.”

“This is our second time booking with Mya and she did such an amazing job like always! She went above and beyond , our cats made a mess and broke some flower pots and she took the time to make sure everything was clean and tidy. Highly recommend her to anyone!”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and Jennifer. It was an amazing experience. Jennifer and her daughter made us feel at ease and loved our dog beyond measure. I couldn’t recommend Jennifer and her daughter enough, they are wonderful, caring and treated her like their own.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m currently a live-in nanny, and I also care for the family’s dogs. When their owners are away, the dogs stay with me and even sleep in my room so they feel safe and comfortable. I currently work part-time as a live-in nanny, which allows me some flexibility for pet care. However, I do have a busy schedule with regular dog-walking clients, so availability can vary. Please message me first to confirm scheduling before booking. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs if I have an open time slot. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding instructions, and any special requirements provided by the owner.
“WOW! Aimee took such great care of our kitty while we were away. She came for multiple daily visits and sent detailed updates with great photos. She truly went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our cat was well taken care of and I felt so much better knowing Aimee was there for her. I will absolutely be using Aimee for any future travel.”
About: I believe in the Golden Rule of Pet Care — I will treat your pets as I would treat my own. I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up in a home with dogs and now caring for three cats of my own for over 12 years. That experience has given me a strong understanding of how different every pet can be, from energetic and social, to shy and anxious. I understand that “pets” are truly members of the family. What I offer is thoughtful, individualized care. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they feel safe and at ease while you’re away. I don’t rush “getting to know each other” if they aren’t ready, and always build trust at your pace and their pace. During visits, I’m attentive and engaged. Whether that means walks, playtime, or simply keeping your furry baby company so they don’t feel alone. My time with your dog or cat is special, so I won't be scrolling on my phone or texting during our visits (except to send you photos and updates!). I’m also detail-oriented when it comes to feeding routines, home care, and maintaining a clean, stress-free environment. You can expect consistent communication and updates, so you always know how your dog or cat is doing. My goal is to provide reliable, high-quality care that gives both you and your pets complete peace of mind. Ideal for weekday walks and midday check-ins while you’re at work! Fits naturally into your routine. Monday through Friday for morning and midday visits (before 5 PM) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Since I provide care in your home, I want to make sure to follow your house rules and your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walk routines, or favorite play activities. Let’s discuss specifics.
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I have had 4 King Charles Caveliers that have given me such joy and in walking a learning experience. I have been walking and dog sitting for 10 years. Dogs are a wonderful warm calming place for me they bring me such joy and to know I can ensure the owners a safe experience for their pet brings me joy. I’m currently a substitute teacher with Fairfax County part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I’m available in the summer seven days a week and boarding on the weekends. My favorite hobby is walking 25K is my goal every day better way to do it. I’m a grandmother of three they call me Granny stepper. I have a fenced in half acre yard for my two king Charles Cavaliers to play with your food. If my dogs need to be created to create a space I can do that as well.
About: grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for them comes naturally. My experience looking after children makes me patient, responsible, and loving — the same way I care for every dog or cat, as if they were part of my own family. I am available for pet care from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as I work with children in the afternoons. During this time, I can provide feeding, playtime, walks, medication administration, and lots of attention to ensure pets feel safe and happy. I’m flexible with occasional early mornings or later pickups if needed I ensure pets feel safe and comfortable whether in my home or theirs. I create a calm and clean environment, provide fresh food and water, and supervise them at all times. I follow any specific instructions from the owner, including medication or special care, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection.
“Maria was amazing checking in on our dog while we were gone all day! I asked her to come for four 30-minute trips and she came at all of the requested times and took our dog on four good walks - and he can be a stubborn walker! She was very responsive and provided good updates. We just rescued our dog a couple of weeks ago, and this was our first time leaving him for such a long period, but I was completely at ease. I will definitely be hiring Maria again! And I know our dog will be glad to see her!”

About: Hi there! I grew up loving dogs, in fact, my older sibling was our family German Shepard! She made sure I was safe, and I made sure she was well loved! I understand how important four-legged family members are. I will provide your fur baby with the same level of care I would want for my own. I LOVE dogs and they love me! I have owned and cared for a full range of dogs. You can feel relaxed with your pet in my care, whether a baby or mature pet, I’ve handled them all! Also, as an experienced foster mom, I am fully comfortable and capable of handling newly adopted or foster dogs, and shy/timid dogs. I have no breed or size restrictions. All furry friends are welcome! Whatever you and your pet need, I am here to help. Currently, I am focused only on dog sitting. Although I tend to schedule tasks when I am not caring for a dog, if I need to run an errand, pups are never left alone for more than one to two hours. My home is very pet friendly and safe. Your fur baby is more than welcome to hang out with me on the couch or on the bed! Let my love of pets help you feel secure in your fur baby's safety and well-being.
“Michael is a star sitter. Amazing communication, attention to detail, and always great at sending pictures. I always know I’m leaving my pets in great hands”

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

“Jessica did a wonderful job with my very shy cat. She was patient and persistent until my cat gradually opened up to her. Jessica was very reliable in feeding my cat on schedule and sending me pictures on a daily basis, even if the pic was only one of my cat hiding under the bed!”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
“Andre takes great care of my cat and goes above and beyond every visit. He’s communicative and even helped me handle an emergency home issue that came up while I was out of town. Highly recommend him (and so does my cat!)”

“From our first meeting, I knew I was going to like Lily. She is so sweet and took excellent care of my cats! I felt totally relaxed leaving my kitties in her care and look forward to booking with her again.”
“Larissa is a fantastic sitter for your pet/pets! My 2 kitties were very well cared for by Larissa! She gave them the attention they needed and the photos she took showed this! Thank you Larissa!”

Chain Bridge Forest pet parents share their Rover experiences
I appreciate every single rover cards from Evan because he takes the cutest pictures of my dog, Sunny, but also the goofiest. Sunny has been enjoying her walk with Evan so much that she’s willing to get up as soon as he shows up but isn’t willing to cooperate with me as much.

Simone did an AMAZING job taking care of my shy kitty, Minou! Minou is cautious around people he doesn't know well and often spends a lot of his time hiding under the bed when I am away. Simone knew just how to approach him and build trust, and within the first visit or two he was already begging her for cheek scratches, belly rubs, and play time. Simone sent thorough daily updates with lots of great pics. She was flexible/easy to coordinate with and very responsive, and I felt confident my cat was in good hands while I was gone. I highly recommend and will book again!

Morgan was extraordinary! Our little fella bonded with her immediately. She is very knowledgeable, and took care of our guy magnificently. It gave us great peace of mind. She was punctual each day, which was greatly appreciated. We look forward to having Morgan back.

Summar is one of the most conscientious, dedicated and pleasant people I know. Her enthusiasm for caring for the pets is heart felt, and she naturally exudes the confidence that she can take care of whatever needs attention while taking care of your furry family and your home. When I couldn’t walk my most energetic dog due to recent surgery - a last minute thing - Summar broke away from her other obligations as time permitted to assist. I can honestly say she’s the real deal (it was with some hesitation that I wanted to share how remarkable this young lady is insofar as it might invite competition for her schedule).

Lily is so professional and treats my cat, Tally, with such care and also looks out for me too by reading my handwritten instructions. She also gives me a super thoughtful report on how she is doing when I’m on work travel and I feel totally at ease with Lily taking tremendous care of my fur baby! I highly recommend Lily for your pet care needs!
