“Amber has been great each time she has cared for Nugget. She’s patient with Nugget’s mini attitude and has even been able to pet her which is rare for someone to do when I’m away. I appreciate the bond she’s established and how she keeps in contact with me. Amber will even do extra tasks like clean the litter area even though I forgot to ask that when we first established the details of care. Amber is and will continue to be my first call when I need someone to care for my fur baby.”

I am able to walk dogs any day of the week, and board on the weekends. I am also able to do in-home sitting for dogs and cats for any times. I live and a good-sized apartment with one roommate. There is grassy areas and woods nearby as well as many parks and fun walks for pups.
About: I'm the proud owner of a chocolate lab and go-to sitter of three precious cats! I'm very active and able to take your pets on long walks. I'm currently a college student on summer break, so I am free to watch, play with, and walk your pets every day of the week! Your pets will be my #1 priority! I have a well loved chocolate lab at home, so I know how to take care of dogs! For my clients, I value communication. You will know all about how your pet is doing, and I will follow their pre-existing routine as closely as possible! Let me know any rules, diet restrictions, and preferences so I can do my best. I prefer to dogsit in your home to reduce the amount of stress your pet feels while you're away!
“Mya stepped in last-minute (under 24 hours’ notice) when my regularly booked sitter got stuck out of town with a canceled flight back. We only had app communication but she took care of everything and had great communication while at my place with my cats. Thanks Mya!”

“Aimee has watched my puppy multiple times and she has always been great with her. She takes lots of pictures and keeps me updated the whole time. My schedule is always changing and she is very understanding of that and flexible with my hours.”
“Sarah was wonderful with the cats. They got along with her really well and she was very thorough in giving us updates and photos. I will definitely be asking her to cat sit again in the future!”

“Jessica did a wonderful job with my very shy cat. She was patient and persistent until my cat gradually opened up to her. Jessica was very reliable in feeding my cat on schedule and sending me pictures on a daily basis, even if the pic was only one of my cat hiding under the bed!”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I have had 4 King Charles Caveliers that have given me such joy and in walking a learning experience. I have been walking and dog sitting for 10 years. Dogs are a wonderful warm calming place for me they bring me such joy and to know I can ensure the owners a safe experience for their pet brings me joy. I’m currently a substitute teacher with Fairfax County part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I’m available in the summer seven days a week and boarding on the weekends. My favorite hobby is walking 25K is my goal every day better way to do it. I’m a grandmother of three they call me Granny stepper. I have a fenced in half acre yard for my two king Charles Cavaliers to play with your food. If my dogs need to be created to create a space I can do that as well.
About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, bathing, administering medication, litter box and yard cleanup, and of course, giving plenty of attention and care. Whether your pet needs a calm companion or a bit more hands-on help, I’m comfortable adapting to their needs and routine. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable looking after your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m currently working part-time at a grocery store as a summer job while I’m home from college, so my schedule is flexible and changes from week to week. That actually works well for pet sitting, since I’m often available at different times throughout the day and week. Whether your pet needs care in the morning, afternoon, or evening, there’s a good chance I can make it work. I enjoy fitting pet care into my routine—it’s a great way to spend time with animals and help people out while I’m on a more open summer schedule. When caring for pets in their own home, I take a calm, respectful approach that’s tailored to each pet’s individual personality and routine. I understand that every animal is different—some need extra playtime and attention, while others prefer quiet companionship. I do my best to follow their usual schedule and create a low-stress environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding, giving medicine, or just spending quality time together, I adjust my care to match the pet’s needs and vibe.

“I can’t recommend Lily enough!! This was my first time out of town since my cat was diagnosed with diabetes, and Lily made the entire experience a breeze. She was thorough and detailed with every visit, and left lots of pictures!! My cats immediately loved her and I will definitely be using Lily in the future!!”

About: Hi there! I grew up loving dogs, in fact, my older sibling was our family German Shepard! She made sure I was safe, and I made sure she was well loved! I understand how important four-legged family members are. I will provide your fur baby with the same level of care I would want for my own. I LOVE dogs and they love me! I have owned and cared for a full range of dogs. You can feel relaxed with your pet in my care, whether a baby or mature pet, I’ve handled them all! Also, as an experienced foster mom, I am fully comfortable and capable of handling newly adopted or foster dogs, and shy/timid dogs. I have no breed or size restrictions. All furry friends are welcome! Whatever you and your pet need, I am here to help. Currently, I am focused only on dog sitting. Although I tend to schedule tasks when I am not caring for a dog, if I need to run an errand, pups are never left alone for more than one to two hours. My home is very pet friendly and safe. Your fur baby is more than welcome to hang out with me on the couch or on the bed! Let my love of pets help you feel secure in your fur baby's safety and well-being.

About: I own a dog of 10 years, so I have plenty of experience taking care of a happy and healthy pet. I deeply understand what keeps a dog in great spirits. I feel an emphasis on play and experiences with a pet can elevate the relationship between owner and pet. I'm very flexible, all I need is a day's notice. I can work just about any hour of the day. If anything were to change suddenly, my client would be the first to know. My dog lives in my home and has a nice fenced yard to run around in. He goes on daily walks and gets plenty of exercise and play. He is also fed twice a day. I would bring the same energy for my client's dogs.
“Becca has consistently been an amazing pet sitter! I can always count on her to make sure my cat is OK while I’m away and her photos and report cards are always so detailed and the best!”

“Andre was the best!! So attentive, always sent me photos of Freddie, and was a huge hit. He was juggling a few other pets during the same time but never made me worry about if Freddie was taken care of. THANK YOU, Andre!”

About: Note: Be sure to check my calendar for availability before booking. Thanks! I adopted my Puerto Rican rescue named Leo in 2019 and he has completely changed my life. He can be reactive on walks and is a super anxious boy in general so I have experience managing nervous dogs. Leo has taught me to see every dog as a cherished family member and loyal companion. When I meet a dog, I want to make them feel as loved and special as they make us feel everyday. My goal is to spend as much time as possible with dogs and I would love to meet yours! I know how exhausting it can be to work and meet your pets needs, and I would love to give you some peace of mind knowing they’ve gotten attention, love, and exercise while you’re busy. I am a student home for the summer and am free until September, but am taking a couple of weekends away so make sure to check my calendar. I am open to spending time with your dog in your home during the day and stay overnight for up to a week. I can do mealtimes and take walks/backyard playtime. And of course, will include endless cuddles.

I am happy to provide specialized care for every pet. In your home, I will care for them exactly as you would! In my home, I can provide frequent walks and lots of pets. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Chain Bridge Forest
Yiting is truly the best! She took amazing care of my cats while I was away. Every visit, she cleaned their litter boxes thoroughly, took the waste bags out right away, and even helped keep my home clean and tidy. My cats are very shy, slow to warm up, and usually do not feel comfortable around strangers, but Yiting was incredibly patient with them. She spent time playing with them, gave them plenty of attention, and even put on TV shows for them. My cats absolutely loved the shows she chose! She also sent me tons of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and she always kept me updated on how they were doing. I have honestly never met anyone who loves and understands cats as much as Yiting does. She is truly one in a million, and I cannot recommend her enough!

Lyndsay took such good care of my cat Mooncake! I really appreciated her notes on each check in updating me on how my cat was doing, and it seems they had a great time together! She was also kind enough to help with cleaning a bit of a mess my cat left. Overall she was amazing!!

Hannah took wonderful care of our medium-sized dog over the Fourth of July weekend. She was flexible, communicative, and proactive throughout the stay, especially when helping us monitor how our dog was handling the heat and the fireworks. When our return flights were unexpectedly canceled, she didn’t hesitate to extend the booking, which was a big help and peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Hannah again and highly recommend her!
Simone is so incredibly communicative. She shares lots of pictures and I always feel looped in to how things are going every day. I cannot imagine having anyone else catsitting them anymore because my kitties are so comfortable with her. Highly recommend!

Lily was so great with our two cats! She sent us lots of great pictures and was very attentive. She was also flexible and was able to help us out by coming an extra day when we had a flight cancellation. I would highly recommend Lily and would definitely rebook in the future!
