About: Hello! I have been a regular pet-sitter, mostly for dogs, for 5 years. I am a patient, conscientious caregiver who loves to play, take walks, and cuddle with pets of any breed, size, and personality :) I am currently pursuing my masters degree during the evening at American University, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I am more than happy to pop into your home for quick dog walks, provide more intensive care like overnight/weekend sitting, and care for your pet like it's my own! I only have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:00 pm, and can absolutely work around these commitments. I am a very hands-on, responsible petsitter who has experience working with dogs and cats that require a lot of attention and also have medical needs. I am comfortable administering medication to pets and caring for more than one pet as well. Fostering comfort, happiness, and your pet's wellbeing is what I pride myself on!
“Ashley was absolutely wonderful! Truly so sweet and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I was in a bit of a bind with my other sitter being out of town, so finding someone new was making me a bit nervous, but I immediately felt so comfortable when Ashley came for the meet and greet. My pup is deaf and can be a bit difficult at times, but Ashley had no problem jumping right in and caring for him. I was gone for 6 days and Ashley put me right at ease, which makes traveling much easier knowing my Jackson is being loved and well taken care of! She was truly the best! Leaving my cat, Sohna, while he was unwell and required daily medication was particularly stressful. Finding Asher Saige through Rover turned out to be an enormous relief. Asher was exceptionally responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. He ensured that Sohna was well fed, received his medication, and remained comfortable throughout my absence. What impressed me most was the wonderful rapport he developed with Sohna. Caring for an unwell animal requires patience, sensitivity, and trust, and Asher demonstrated all three. His regular photographs and thoughtful updates gave me tremendous peace of mind throughout my trip. I returned to find Sohna happy, relaxed, and in excellent spirits. Asher combines genuine affection for animals with the reliability and conscientiousness every pet owner hopes to find. I would recommend him without hesitation, particularly to anyone whose pet requires additional care and attention.
Timothy is a gem of a dog sitter! He watched our two dogs for the weekend and we couldn’t be happier with his things went. By the end of his visit, I received a video of our anxious dog (who usually hides the entire time we are away)playing with our other dog! Timothy is super responsible and responsive which enabled us to relax while away. Plus he left the house spotless!
Hannah is a superb dog sitter! She does a great job with our big, energetic German shepherd when we’re out of town and takes wonderful care of our house, too. She’s extremely punctual and communicative, and we never worry when she’s taking care of our dog and house.
Savannah did an awesome job taking care of my dog. She was very responsive and sent me detailed updates and pictures my dog. She took him out for walks and played with him. He slept on her bed and for that time she replaced us as his care giver which was very comforting. She was very attentive to my instructions and followed them responsibly. She left my house as she found it ..all very clean. I will definitely reach out to her again to take care of Chego.
Anya is truly a 5-star sitter. She was so attentive with my senior pup, Wetzel! She made sure he felt safe and comfortable, and even cracked the code on getting him to take his critical heart meds! Wetzel ate well, slept soundly, and got along so well with her sweet dog, Watson—two old boys hanging out. To top it all off, she gave me the sweetest wallet-sized Polaroid of Wetzel when I picked him up. I couldn't ask for a better sitter!
My girls love love love Summer and she is so good with them. I have a German shepherd who is picky about people but adores Summer. My lab crawls into Summers lap for snuggles. They miss her when she’s gone, Ha! We book Summer for all our vacations. She’s the best 13/10
