About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old - whether it be my own, my neighbors, or my roommates and friends. My late grandma LOVED animals, growing up we had ducks and rabbits and birds (oh my!) and she definitely made sure that type of love lived on through me. I love providing warm and welcoming environments for all, leading me to be extremely organized and detail oriented. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your furry friends! I’m available every day from 10 AM to 6 PM for walks and drop-ins, and can watch during the day my own home weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. I have an extremely clean, organized, warm and puppy-proofed house with Fillmore Park Trail right in my backyard, often taking my own dog for long walks on it! Long Branch Elementary School is also behind me, where I often take dogs to play on the fields there if they have anxiety in park spaces (bad experiences with other dogs). I frequently go to Shirlington dog park otherwise. If I am caring for your pet in your own home, I will tidy up the space as well if needed (I am a firm believer in respecting other peoples spaces and treating them better than my own).

Amanda looked after our pet tortoise this winter while we were away. She came by to do a meet-and-greet to understand our particular pet, species, and care needs and spent time studying his habits. While we were away, she was highly communicative, gave updates, and followed our updated care instructions. She also brought in the mail, which was nice, as I had asked USPS to suspend mail delivery but I guess they hadn't. She was also careful to make sure the door was locked after every visit. I'd definitely work with Amanda again!

Erica is a rockstar! She has taken such good care of my kitty while I’ve been gone and even agreed to extend when I had to be gone longer than originally planned.
