“Thy was very lovely and responsive! She took great care of Bear and provided detailed updates and many photos! I felt at ease trusting Thy with Bear!!”
“Dolce had a great day at Shane’s. He got tons of playtime and came home a tired and happy pup. Communication and updates were fantastic. We look forward to our next visit!”
About: Aside from caring for my own dogs as well as neighbors’ pets my whole life, I was a periodic live-in sitter for an elderly pug that required extra care, including medications and eye drops. I also fostered 2 chiweenie puppies for a few months until they were able to find a forever home. I work from home on my own schedule, and would love some company. Since I don’t have set hours, I have time for several walks throughout the day and into the evening. I have a spacious 1 bedroom apartment nearby several parks. I’m happy to stay in with a sleepy dog or go on long walks with an energetic pup, as I am an active person.
“We were lucky to find Anne. Rango had a wonderful time with her. Anne set-up a preview chat to meet Rango and she was very responsive in communicating with us. We felt comfortable having him stay with her and would use her again when we are back visiting our son in D.C.”
Jordan & Paul F.
“Jordan and Paul were lovely hosts. They both greeted me and my dog took to them quickly. On the second day she almost jumped out of the car to greet them. The property is nice and the neighborhood is dog friendly with a cool dog park nearby. I would book again and trust them with my pup.”
“Arial takes care of my sweet Perla when I travel. She takes such a good care and gives her love and keep us update of how she is doing. Perla is always excited to see her!”
“Brittany watched my puppy Callie for the day while I was working from my office. She was phenomenal at communicating, sending me photos and updates on what Callie was doing. Before the visit, she asked all the right questions to know more about Callie’s behavior. Brittany and Eli were amazing hosts to Callie. I couldn’t have been happier with this experience and will definitely be booking with Brittany again!”
“Leslie was incredibly kind and responsive from the very start of our correspondence and all throughout the time our pup was with her. She sent pictures and updates of how she was doing and made many efforts to ensure she was comfortable and happy. I walked recommend Leslie to any other dog family, 100% !!”
“Hc is a sitter found in heaven. She loves dogs, is very attentive and loving to each of the day care group and has her own sweet lab mix JJ. My dog loved to come and stay at Hc and rumble through the garden or house with the other pups, and we will be back next week.”
“Carolynne has taken care of our dogs several times. We feel safe living our dogs with her when we are out-of-town. She is trustworthy, communicates well, reliable and our dogs just love her. I would absolutely recommend her for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking for anyone who needs an honest and caring pet sitter!”
“Roxy was is such good hands with Madison and her very friendly pup Stevie!! She had the very best time. Beautiful backyard to play in, walks and very friendly caretakers. Lots of fun pictures too. We will be returning customers for sure..”
“Jen was a fantastic dog sitter!! She was super flexible with my schedule and was lovely about sending updates throughout the day. Thanks Jen!”
“Sandra was awesome, and helped cover a last minute appointment when another sitter had a conflict. She gave our guy all the attention and company he needed, and despite his anxiety he seemed to settle in well. Would definitely recommend.”
Jee Hwan C.
“Jee was very accommodating, professional and friendly. He’s so good with dogs and I felt really reassured having my pup, Moony with him. His doggy is also very sweet and was a great playmate for Moony. Thank you Jee”
“Katherine went above and beyond for our energetic pup! Lots of love and a ton of walks - super considerate and communicative as well. Ruby had an amazing time and will be sleeping very soundly tonight :)”
“Rafael Maldonado would be a great pet sitter as he has been such a wonderful and caring pet dad to his dog, Rocky, for the past 8 years. He is always thinking about his dog’s needs, ensuring Rocky eats high quality food, gets a good amount of exercise every day and that his dog also exercises his mind through game play. I too have a dog which I have entrusted in Rafael’s care. Levi is always happy and fulfilled whenever I come back. (Probably because Rafael just made him the best doggy dinner ever!) I am very picky about who I am able to leave Levi with and Rafael is someone I know I will not have to worry about Levi while I am away. Rafael is also great with many different types of people and personalities and goes out of his way to care for others in his community, especially the elderly who may be alone or need help. Overall, Rafael is a genuine and kind person who cares about all living things regardless of whether they have 2 or 4 legs. He would be the ideal candidate for Rover.”
“Claire took care of my 11 week old puppy over the course of several days while I was at work. She sent me picture’s constantly and let me know all the puppy updates I needed. My dog Penny was always excited to see her - I highly recommend Claire!”
“Morgan took great care of my dog Marigold, and Marigold got a bonus instant friend with Mochi! Communication in advance and during the day were great and was very accommodating to my slightly off schedule office hours (a bit later than most). Would def book again!”
“Warda came to my rescue, and I really appreciate it. She took care of my baby goldendoodle (18 months, 50 lbs) who is full of energy and needs attention. She shared photos of their walks and shenanigans. I will definitely be returning.”
About: I used to have a black lab retriever, that I had for over a decade, she's a relatively big dog, so I'm familiar with caring for and watching larger animals. For the past four years I have been paid to watch and care for other pets other than my own, so I am familiar with watching other people's pets. My black lab was untrained for years, so if your pet happens to not be trained then that is okay because I am completely comfortable with an untrained animal. Since I do have a dog, I would not be able to host cats, but I do not mind watching them at your home. A little bit more about myself, I graduated from Penn State in 2018, with a degree in Political Science, and a minor in History, I also have a masters in Legal Studies from American University. I'm originally from upstate NY and moved to the DMV a little over a year ago. I work remote ask I’m able to give my dog as well as yours, the love and attention they deserve. I make sure to take them out long enough to ensure they receive daily exercise. I’m very on top of watching your dog and keeping a safe environment for all animals. I keep all things that could potentially be harmful out of reach.
