About: I had two dogs growing up (Snowball and Mocha) and in recent years, have dog sat for friends, friends, and for Rover clients. It's rewarding and super fun for me! I enjoy the long walks in my neighborhood (I live in an awesome neighborhood for that) and lots of cuddles/belly rubs with the dogs I am sitting! I work from home most of the week and have plenty of time during the day for neighborhood strolls/walks with my rover pups. I love going for walks to take a break so would take the dog out at least 3 or 4 times a day with me. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom/2 floor condo with a balcony. The dog would have access to the first floor. We have hard wood floors, a ton of really great light and are on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators in this building. We have a ton of neighbors who have dogs, an elementary school near by with a nice track/green space, and lots of side walk space for walks.

About: My entire family has dogs and I’ve always loved them. I had a dog in high school, Oreo; she was a pitbull mix and she was my first dog. I learned most of my training experience from Oreo and taking her to training sessions. One of my previous jobs was at a dog grooming establishment, I was there for a year and two months as the receptionist. During my time at the dog grooming place I formed relationships not only with our human customers but also the furbabies. I’ve met all kinds of dog breeds through my old job and in passing throughout the streets of DC. My old coworker called me the dog whisperer. When customers came in and said their dog might not take to me I always managed to get them to warm up to me. I can’t tell you how many times I heard “they’ve never done that with anyone before”, not only from owners but my coworkers too. I’ve calmed the most rowdy dogs like it was nothing because I love dogs with my entire heart. I have a huge soft spot for big dogs, especially pitbulls and german shepherds. I’ve worked with many breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. There’s not a dog I’ve encountered who I haven’t been able to work my magic on, I hope to continue doing so with Rover. I’m currently working full time but I live extremely close to my job, like 5 minutes away, so I’m able to check on the dogs throughout the day. I’ll make sure to use a dog cam to make sure they’re okay as well. On my days off I’ll be home to watch them all day. I live in an apartment with surrounding grass areas for the dog to relieve themselves. I used to dog sit for a previous roommate of mine while in an apartment, so I’m familiar with timing bathroom breaks according to the time it takes to get outside. The dogs are free to roam my living space, I’ll make sure to close off the bedrooms unless they are with me. There will be a designated area for their things (crate, bed, toys, etc). I’m pretty flexible, I want to maintain the dog’s routine as much as possible especially their training.
