What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up with Labs, German Shepherds, and cats taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each pet’s unique needs. I have also volunteered with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington for two years, where I have gained additional experience caring for animals and learning about different behaviors and temperaments. In addition to general pet care, I have informal training experience with dogs, including helping reinforce basic commands, positive behaviors, and good routines. I enjoy working with young pets as they learn and helping senior pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My goal is always to provide the same level of attention, patience, and love that I would want for my own pets.

Amanda was incredible!!! We completely forgot to send over the pet care instructions and were unable to communicate due to not having service and she still did literally every single thing that we told her about at the meet and greet. She was kind and attentive and the animals all loved her!
Amanda was great! Very communicative and on time pickup & dropoff. And most of all our pooch came back happy and well-exercised.
Amanda is incredibly caring, thoughtful, and detailed. Animals are her passion - she has cared from young pets to older ones, and even spends free time that she has volunteering at the shelter. She is great with animals and caring for their specific needs!
Amanda is the best! She cared over night for my black lab Jeter from the time he was 11 years old until he left us at 16. She is always on time, detail oriented, and so kind to my Jeter. Amanda is more than capable in dealing with dogs across various ages!
Amanda G. is truly an animal lover!! She has stayed in my home for extended periods of time to watch our 2 four year old German Shepard girls as well as our 24 year old cat Rosie when we go away. She also walks both of our Shepards (at the same time) on a weekly basis. She is kind, loving and gentle to our girls, always on time and we TOTALLY trust her to stay in our home.
Amanda is incredible with animals. She has volunteered at shelters, is comfortable with large and small animals, and is a great caretaker. She’s attentive to the pet’s needs and behavior, I would trust my animals life and happiness with her!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely four days a week with a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I am able to accommodate a pet’s normal routine, whether that includes letting dogs outside for breaks, taking them on a midday walk, providing playtime, or simply spending time with them while they relax. I enjoy creating a consistent and comfortable environment for pets while their owners are away.

I care for pets by prioritizing their comfort, safety, and normal routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established schedule for feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and any other specific instructions. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in familiar environments, so I focus on providing consistent care, attention, and companionship while respecting the owner’s home. For each pet, I take time to understand their personality and needs, whether they are energetic and playful, shy and independent, or require extra patience and care. My goal is to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.
