About: I’m an animal lover that will take care of your pet like my own. Although I will care for your pet, I live with my partner, three year old son, my dog Ares, and two cats. We’re a family that loves all animal and are opening our home to extend that care. All pets I’ve cared for tend to leave my home with new skills or new training while they’re with me as that’s very important to me. I am a fully time stay at home parent and have a very flexible schedule to care for your pet. My open availability can accommodate last minute requests. I live in an apartment with an indoor dog park, outdoor dog park onsite, and a large apartment with plenty of space. My pets are very friendly and take into visitors very well. My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. I had the good fortune of learning how to train my Border Collie puppy, Khailo, (now 10) with a CCI-certified service dog trainer specializing in puppies. When providing care at your home, I will respect all rules you have for your pup, such as not being allowed on furniture, etc. and will stick to your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. I would be providing service outside of my home. Your pup’s safety is my number one priority and, having been trained by a CCI service dog trainer myself, I am well-versed in translating your dog behavior, thus keeping them safe in all environments and under all circumstances. I am a very maternal person, and will give your pup all of the love, care and attention they need!

About: Not just another dog lover! I’ve had at least one dog, plus, at all times. Most from a puppy until departure. Experience with rescued dogs in making them feel comfortable/relaxed. We had a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. I’m very patient, caring, & don’t mind petting or playing all day. I’m hoping to give them the love and care when you can’t be ther. I work from home several days during the week and can properly share my time for walks, feeding, and playing. I have a Cocker Spaniel who gets along with other dogs well. I’m home in the evenings and weekends. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with plenty of grassy areas and usually take my dog on a walk in the neighborhood. About: Basset Hounds are natural characters and totally unforgettable––their droll eyes, wing-like ears, spotted fur and droopy, well––everything! They seem to possess this natural intelligence and a well of wisdom like Sherlock Holmes. Well, I grew up with a Basset Hound named Sadie and she was a major character in my life. I can’t think back on my childhood without remembering our wonderful memories, even if it’s in a subconscious, spiritual kind of way. I think growing up with her as a member of my family with such a unique personality, I’ve always been drawn to oddball pups. Eventually I became a special education teacher who has a hyperactive rescue dog with special needs and an indifferent, fat cat. Just as I care for human children, I extend the same level of care and dedication to our beloved canine (and feline) babies for friends, family, and total strangers from the Internet. I’ve cared for animals since I was four years old, and I’ll always have them in my life. In the past, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter and have experience training dogs. Although this line of work requires training and understanding of how to deal with different personalities, physical disabilities, and backgrounds––there’s also this element which can’t be taught or faked. I’m just a steady, easy-going, respectful, and kind individual. I don’t need to try to be patient because I’m usually very open-minded and attuned to the fact that we’re all unique and different but we’re also beautiful and awesome in our own way. I know the world isn’t always a friendly place, but being around lovely kids and happy dogs gives me hope and recharges my batteries. Some people find children and animals annoying or a needy, but I think it’s the complete opposite. Their energy, innocence, and unconditional ability to love and be accepting are lessons adults can learn and employ in their daily actions. I see them as spongy mirrors––they’ll give back what they absorb. If children and dogs are around tons of love, laughter, and a sense of security, they will give back so much compassion and loyalty. Cats, well, they’re a whole other story. My schedule is adaptable but not totally flexible since I’m a special education teacher during the day, but I have weekends off, all school breaks, and evenings. I update my availability often, but I’m more than happy to help you last minute or even if it’s for a walk because of an emergency. If my schedule allows, you can count on me. I do teach summer school, so my mornings are usually busy but I’m free afternoons and evenings, and around for Labor Day weekend. Once the school year starts in the fall, my availability will shift slightly. My other passion is spending time in the outdoors, from walking to biking to hiking to swimming. I try to stay active and your pup is sure to get a lot of fresh air time.

About: I’m an animal lover that will take care of your pet like my own. Although I will care for your pet, I live with my partner, three year old son, my dog Ares, and two cats. We’re a family that loves all animal and are opening our home to extend that care. All pets I’ve cared for tend to leave my home with new skills or new training while they’re with me as that’s very important to me. I am a fully time stay at home parent and have a very flexible schedule to care for your pet. My open availability can accommodate last minute requests. I live in an apartment with an indoor dog park, outdoor dog park onsite, and a large apartment with plenty of space. My pets are very friendly and take into visitors very well.
