About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was around 8 years old by playing with and walking neighbor’s and family friends dogs. Since, I have gotten a dog of my own (Bandit) and care for him everyday. We got him as a puppy, so I trained him to sit, give me a paw, and a high five! I take him on walks, feeding him, and play with him. I am currently on summer vacation from the transition between senior year and freshman year of college, so I will be free pretty much all day any day to take care of your puppies! I have a fenced backyard and a friendly, outgoing dog to keep your pup company. I have all the supplies needed to care for a dog - crate (if needed), treats, food/water bowls, etc.

“Jamie was great with my German Shepherd! This was the first time Ada was away from me or her 3 siblings. Little nervous the first day but after that she looked forward to going with Jamie once she saw him. Her acceptance of him made me more relaxed. Very glad I found Jamie on Rover!”

About: I've taken care of many different kinds of dogs over the years. My top priority is your pet's safety. I'm observant of common distractions for dogs and have found good walk routes in my neighborhood that will keep your dog feeling safe and calm. What I've learned over the years is that each pet is unique and that it's important to understand each pets individual needs to be able to get them what they need. I can meet dogs at their level when it comes to their play/attention needs. My current schedule has the flexibility to make sure your pet gets plenty of long walks and exercise which can be challenging especially in these winter months. I hope I'm able to meet you and your pet's needs!

“Zeeba enjoyed her time with Sarah. Zeeba took some initial minutes to get use to Sarah’s dog, but once I left, Zeeba was in great hands. I would book her again.”

“Amy saved the day for my chiweenie, Willar and I. Her pup Winston is a such a cute little guy and very mild mannered. Amy took great care of my little senior pup currently on a special diet and needing lots of attention and affection. Amy was also flexible and understanding of my own separation anxiety being away from my furbaby 😄”

“Luna (15 week lab) loved all the attention she received by Miryam and her family. She was well taken care of for the day (meals, walks, Love)… Miryam kept in touch with plenty of photos which allowed me to not worry and enjoy my event.❤️ I would definitely use Miryam and her service when needed. Luna & I say Thank You Miryam❣️”

“Sabrina is awesome! Our dog can be a little anxious or defensive, but Sabrina made him feel right at home and by the time we arrived to pick him up, they’d become fast friends. Highly recommend doggy daycare with Sabrina.”

“I left Josie with Connor for a full day of dog sitting and when I picked her up she was as happy as can be! She clearly enjoyed her time in Conner’s home and became best of friends with his dog, Gordie. I trust Conner to take care of Josie as if she were his fur baby.”

About: I've taken care of several dogs of various personalities and ages, and I'm a former pet owner (of a cat) myself. I enjoy taking care of animals and making owners reassured that their pets are A-OK. I have taken a buyout offer (deferred resignation) from my federal agency, so I am not currently working and have a very flexible schedule that allows for pet-sitting. I live in a dog-friendly condominium community. My condo unit is up a single flight of stairs from the building entrance making it easy to hop out for walks around my community. There is a very popular dog park along a stream (Four Mile Run) within about a 10-minute walk. There is also a woodsy park with a walking/biking trail across the street. Within my condo unit, I have space for a crate if needed. My condo unit also has a balcony overlooking a tranquil courtyard area with birds and squirrels to look at.

“Maddison (and Lincoln) are a wonderful team and Leia had the BEST TIME EVER! She’s still exhausted from playing all day with her new friends!”

“Thank you so much! Cleo was very happy at the end of the day :)”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life - first on the farm as a kid and then as an adult in the city. I own a Tripawd redbone coonhound I adopted in NoVa and previously adopted two dogs in Colorado and Iowa, one who I nursed through an amputation and cancer. I love playing with dogs, walking them and running with them if desired! I enjoy snuggles and kisses and working with dogs on tricks!! I would love meet your sweet pup and care for them. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to take dogs in the backyard or on a walk during the workday. In the evenings I’m home most of the time with my dog, Hope. I care for dogs in my home with careful monitoring. I have watched my neighbors’ dogs and friends’ dogs and ensure I know where they are in the house and yard we all times.

“Grace and Cody are caring and thoughtful sitters! My sweet Oliver is a needy boy and they have worked well with us to help Oliver be comfortable in their home. And toast is adorable! :)”

Amy M.
“Amy has watched our fur baby, Cava, countless times in the 2 years we've been neighbors. She truly is an exceptional pet sitter and is one of the few people we wholeheartedly trust to take care of our pets. Amy goes the extra mile to ensure Cava is happy, active, comfortable, and content. She makes sure Cava is walked, fed on time, and has plenty of backyard time for endless games of fetch. Cava is part Chihuahua and isn't the most affectionate, but Cava wags her whole body when she sees Amy because she is one of the few humans Cava trusts completely. Amy does an amazing job sending photos and making sure we are aware of anything abnormal during her visits. When we go on vacation, I sometimes feel like Cava is having a better time than we are! Your pet is in the best hands when they stay with Amy. She is the sort of pet sitter you dream of finding, and I simply cannot recommend her enough.”
