“Jena was so wonderful with my dog Hazel! Hazel is a very nervous dog with separation anxiety and she made sure to keep me updated throughout the day with messages, pictures, and videos. She was very easy to coordinate with and we had a great initial meeting over zoom. Would be happy to have Jena watch Hazel any time!”

“Luciana was amazing with our puppy! Communication was excellent, she sent videos and updates during the stay. My dog loved her and was happy to meet her. I will definitely book again.”

“Luliia's house is the perfect place for dogs. She has a huge fully fenced in backyard with a double gate like you see in dog parks. I'm a paranoid pet parent, and I feel totally at ease leaving our two basset hounds there. They went for daycare, and I intend on having overnight stays for them there in the future. It was obvious that careful attention was paid to any breed specific needs and even to each dog's individual personalities. We got lots of photos and video of our dogs playing. They slept so long when I brought them back home.”

“This last week Irene and James have been a lifesaver! I now need to have my dog in daycare full time which she is not used to and usually very nervous. I’ve had my dog stay with Irene and James for dog sitting and could not be happier. My dog has thrived staying with them. She is comfortable, eats, drinks water, and interacts with them instead of shutting down. I have been so amazed by their care of my dog and the consistent text and photos updates throughout the day. So thankful to have found Irene and James to care for my dog and fully recommend them for any dog care services!”

“Donna was very warm and caring towards our dog. She was very thoughtful in ensuring our dog felt comfortable and we really appreciated it. She was also fantastic in communicating with us! She clearly loves dogs and we highly recommend her!”

“This is week 2 of puppy day care with Camilla and somehow I’m even happier with her! She treats my 3month old pup as her own and is so so flexible with my wacky work schedule. She feeds my pup lunch and takes him on walks around the block, to a dog park, normal parks etc! She has been a dream and I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am of her and how amazing my experience with her has been. Can’t wait to keep having her take care of my growing pup!!🥰”

“I cannot recommend Scarlett enough. My pup has the BEST time with her and Lassie. His tail is always wagging when he comes see her for his regular daycare. Scarlett’s communication is excellent and I really love all the pictures and video updates she sends throughout the day. She makes sure your pup has a great balance of walks, enrichment, and rest throughout the day. I can see how she really takes the care to love your pup like her own. I couldn’t be happier, thank you Scarlett!!”

“My dogs flew out of the car and pulled me to the door to see Brian, who seems to be their new favorite person. In my opinion, that is the best endorsement you could get! Happy dogs who are BEYOND excited to go back!”

“We had a great experience leaving our dog Otto to spend a day with Amina. She communicated very well and gave Otto the attention he needed. Otto also had the opportunity to enjoy the time with Snowy (Amina’s lovely dog). Thank you very much for the great care. Looking forward to have Otto spending more time with you soon.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for almost my whole life--we had two dogs and a cat in the house since I was about 8 years old, and I also took care of the neighbors' pets consistently! Over the past few years, I've regularly house sat and watched my neighbor's dog for 3-14 days a time, and also gave him 8 pills a day to help prevent his seizures. I've also boarded multiple dogs at my house while our friends were out of town, and helped take care of my parents' aging dogs and cat in the last few years of their lives. Mostly, I just love animals and want to help others when they need to be away from their pets! I will gladly send photo updates to pet owners, whether we're on a walk, playing, or having a little sleepover! :) I'm a freelance/wedding videographer, so the winter months are pretty slow and give me plenty of free time for dog walks or cat drop-ins any day of the week, or to board pets here while I'm working from home! I live in a townhouse with plenty of space for dogs to roam around. My usual daily walk is through a safe, residential neighborhood away from the main roads. Your dogs are free to jump on furniture/sleep in bed with me if they want. :) We also have plenty of room for crates and bedding. We have a small fenced-in patio space in the back where they can hang out outside-- it's not a grass yard but there are garden beds they can use for the bathroom! Pictures are included in my profile. We also live near a large field for running and fetch, as well as multiple dog parks if that's something you're comfortable with! My boyfriend also loves dogs and will be here in the evenings and on weekends for extra love and cuddles for your dogs! However I'll be the sole caregiver and the only one responsible for your pets at all times, so I'll always be the one feeding, walking, and supervising :)
About: I have had dogs all my adult life. From feral rehabilitation, agility course training, anxiety mending/trust building, to senior & end of life care. I love all dogs & give them the care our companions deserve. Every day, I wake up to my two ladies (Xena, Boarder Collie & Winny, soft-coat Wheaton Terrier) and get to care for them. My life is completed by these twos adventures & antics. My ladies schedule: A walk EVERY morning at 5:30 -breakfast (yogurt, frozen blueberries over dry dog food) 10:30 we are at the private dog park, tossing the ball to burn off energy 3:00 walk/dog park -Dinner time (pumpkin, teeth cleaner, lamb topping over dry dog food) 6:00/7:00 walkies 9:30 last call BONUS: The weekend is reserved for trips to trails, outdoor dinning/dog friendly restaurants, bigger dog parks, or dog friendly events. The ladies are in their beds by 10pm.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old - whether it be my own, my neighbors, or my roommates and friends. My late grandma LOVED animals, growing up we had ducks and rabbits and birds (oh my!) and she definitely made sure that type of love lived on through me. I love providing warm and welcoming environments for all, leading me to be extremely organized and detail oriented. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your furry friends! I’m available every day from 10 AM to 6 PM for walks and drop-ins, and can watch during the day my own home weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. I have an extremely clean, organized, warm and puppy-proofed house with Fillmore Park Trail right in my backyard, often taking my own dog for long walks on it! Long Branch Elementary School is also behind me, where I often take dogs to play on the fields there if they have anxiety in park spaces (bad experiences with other dogs). I frequently go to Shirlington dog park otherwise. If I am caring for your pet in your own home, I will tidy up the space as well if needed (I am a firm believer in respecting other peoples spaces and treating them better than my own).
“I always get nervous leaving my 1 year old pup with someone new, but Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. I could tell immediately that she’s a dog person, and she sent me tons of updates throughout the day. I’m so grateful for her and will be booking again next time I need daycare!”

About: Hi! I’m a true pet lover who has grown up around animals for more than 20 years and understands how deeply they become part of our families. At this stage of my life, I don’t have pets of my own, which inspired me to open my home and heart to care for other families’ dogs while they are away. I treat every dog as if they were part of my own family, giving them the love, attention, and care they need to feel safe and happy. I have over two years of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I truly enjoy creating a calm, loving environment where each dog feels comfortable and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work part-time as a consultant, so I’m home often and have a flexible schedule. This lets me give pets real attention throughout the day — walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of companionship, not just quick check-ins. I also live near green spaces and walking paths, which makes daily walks simple and fun. care for every pet as if they were my own, with a strong focus on safety, routine, and emotional well-being. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where dogs are never left unattended for long periods. I follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walk times, play, rest, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure all doors, gates, and outdoor areas are secure, and I keep potentially harmful items safely out of reach. I also pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and comfort level, especially during the first days, to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and at home.

On weekends, I offer walks by appointment and house sitting, giving your pet consistent care and comfort while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your dog, and I don’t take that lightly. Before any booking, I love doing a meet & greet to learn your dog’s routines, personality, and comfort needs, it helps me create a calm, consistent environment where they feel at home. I live in a cozy one-bedroom condo with no yard, but dogs get plenty of outdoor time through regular walks and potty breaks. I choose safe, quiet routes and tailor each walk to your pup’s energy and comfort level. Columbia Heghts dog parents share their Rover experiences
From the pictures Hermes appeared to enjoy hanging out with Taylor’s cute pooch. Even though Metro delays meant I arrived for pickup later than expected, Taylor did not complain. Thanks for looking after our furbaby(hope he did not shed much- we had combed him in the afternoon).

Sarah and Ben took such great care of Brady! I couldn’t have asked for a better setup for my golden. This in-home doggy daycare was the perfect mix of comfort and socialization—especially with another golden there to play with. I had peace of mind knowing that he was safe and being cared for during my long work shift. He came home tired and clearly very happy. The one-on-one attention, safe environment, and built-in playmate made all the difference.

So happy to have found Nina & Chris for my dog. They were very communicative and gave many updates during the day. We did a daycare text-run ahead of a work trip I have scheduled in a few weeks, to see if my dog fit into their household. Glad things went well!

Tali had the best day with Anya and her dog Scout! Tali was instantly so comfortable with the both of them. Anya kept me updated during the day and was very responsive and flexible. I got lots of pics and videos from her day. I felt completely at ease leaving my pup with her!

Hannah and family were great, would trust my dog with them again! They were super understanding and attentive to my dog's needs and preferences. I got a few photos and updates throughout the time. Ripley seems happy and relaxed after doggy daycare with them. Mellie is a fabulous companion, Pretzels would be proud. Thank you!

Leila was amazing!! She took wonderful care of my dog Mila, sent updates and photos, and made the whole process stress-free. My dog came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Jie did a great job taking care of Zoya, our 3-month old golden retriever puppy. Thank you for the patience! Jie gave us frequent updates throughout the day and make sure Zoya is comfortable at his place. He also provides feedback that’s very helpful for us to know where we need to focus on Zoya’s training in the future.

I was so grateful Vallen and her fiance were available to take my foster pup for the day last minute. They were great with her and she was comfortable to curl up with them. I will definitely reach out to them again in the future for sitting or walking services.
