About: I grew up with dogs in the house, an Australian Shepherd, an Irish Setter, and a Border Collie mix, but have never owned a dog myself (yet). It's not uncommon for me to stop what I am doing to pet a dog and ask the owner all about them, so I figured this would be a fun way for me to get my dog fix while helping people who need the extra hand. I took my share of the responsibility growing up helping feed, walk, and drain the energy of our dogs, and even now will lend a helping hand to watch the dogs of family or friends. I also was the go-to kid around the neighborhood for pet-sitting so I have experience dealing with dogs that aren't used to me. With my service, you will have someone who looks after your furry friend like they are my own, and I can confidently say that you won't find many others out there that can match my passion for dogs! I work fully remote and as a result, find that it is hard to get out of the house some days. I've started to go on walks and figured I would blend my love for dogs with this new hobby! I also have most family in the area (all dog-friendly), so I am rarely unavailable for extended periods. If you work in person and need a place for your pet to stay during the day where they can get the attention they need, I'm your person! I live right by the Shirlington Dog Park and W&OD Trail, so access to dog-friendly walks and recreation areas is plentiful around here. I am happy to follow any rules that you would like to enforce and want to make the safety of your dog my top priority.

About: headline I grew up around dogs and i’m always looking for an excuse to take care/love them pet care experience I’ve had dogs my whole life and in my adult life I enjoy taking care of them, it’s something that i’ve been doing for (7 years). I have experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs ! I’m working part time so I have plenty of time. Some weeks I’m free on mornings and another weeks I’m free in the afternoon. But I can choose my schedule so let me know what is better for you. I live in an apartment and we have two differents dogs parks. The apartment it’s a save environment for animals and we also have plenty of space near to the building for walkings.

About: Your dog or cat will be a part of the family when they stay with us in Arlington! Doggy guests will be able to take advantage of the long walking paths in our neighborhood, nearby dog parks if they would like, and all the attention of the household humans! Cats will get hours of my attention every day, with as much play and snuggle time as they’d like! I am a kind, responsible, trustworthy person, and will make sure your furry friend feels comfortable and loved! About: I have had dogs all my adult life. From feral rehabilitation, agility course training, anxiety mending/trust building, to senior & end of life care. I love all dogs & give them the care our companions deserve. Every day, I wake up to my two ladies (Xena, Boarder Collie & Winny, soft-coat Wheaton Terrier) and get to care for them. My life is completed by these twos adventures & antics. My ladies schedule: A walk EVERY morning at 5:30 -breakfast (yogurt, frozen blueberries over dry dog food) 10:30 we are at the private dog park, tossing the ball to burn off energy 3:00 walk/dog park -Dinner time (pumpkin, teeth cleaner, lamb topping over dry dog food) 6:00/7:00 walkies 9:30 last call BONUS: The weekend is reserved for trips to trails, outdoor dinning/dog friendly restaurants, bigger dog parks, or dog friendly events. The ladies are in their beds by 10pm.

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for almost my whole life--we had two dogs and a cat in the house since I was about 8 years old, and I also took care of the neighbors' pets consistently! Over the past few years, I've regularly house sat and watched my neighbor's dog for 3-14 days a time, and also gave him 8 pills a day to help prevent his seizures. I've also boarded multiple dogs at my house while our friends were out of town, and helped take care of my parents' aging dogs and cat in the last few years of their lives. Mostly, I just love animals and want to help others when they need to be away from their pets! I will gladly send photo updates to pet owners, whether we're on a walk, playing, or having a little sleepover! :) I'm a freelance/wedding videographer, so the winter months are pretty slow and give me plenty of free time for dog walks or cat drop-ins any day of the week, or to board pets here while I'm working from home! I live in a townhouse with plenty of space for dogs to roam around. My usual daily walk is through a safe, residential neighborhood away from the main roads. Your dogs are free to jump on furniture/sleep in bed with me if they want. :) We also have plenty of room for crates and bedding. We have a small fenced-in patio space in the back where they can hang out outside-- it's not a grass yard but there are garden beds they can use for the bathroom! Pictures are included in my profile. We also live near a large field for running and fetch, as well as multiple dog parks if that's something you're comfortable with! My boyfriend also loves dogs and will be here in the evenings and on weekends for extra love and cuddles for your dogs! However I'll be the sole caregiver and the only one responsible for your pets at all times, so I'll always be the one feeding, walking, and supervising :)

About: Experience: - 3 years experience of volunteering at a vet where I assisted in many procedures & check ups, caring for animals boarding over night post-op, and tending to animals and owners’ needs during their visit - experience in raising my own Maltese pup since he was 3mos old for 15+ yrs - lots of experience dog walking and dog sitting for family, neighbors, and friends. I will care for your pet as if it is my own. Long walks, play time, cuddling and pampering! I have another roommate who also have experience with dog sitting, fostering, and have owned dogs. We have dog sat many dogs, who we walked, bathed, groomed, and fed for days to weeks at a time. We love dogs but can’t commit to having one at the moment so we love dog sitting. My schedule is very flexible as I’m currently on break from law school When your dog is booked with me, I try my best to schedule my plans around the dog (I.e. planning walks with friends) other than that I really try to keep my social plans to a minimum (esp if a puppy is boarding). I’m home most of the time unless I have important appointments or running quick errands. I try not to overwhelm my calendar with dog boarding because of this reason(wanting to give my 100% to the dog) & try to be very intentional when I accept clients. I care for pets in my home as if they were my own and beyond. I take dog sitting seriously! Lots of play time and I also let them do their own thing while I check in periodically.
