1. Irene & James I.

“This last week Irene and James have been a lifesaver! I now need to have my dog in daycare full time which she is not used to and usually very nervous. I’ve had my dog stay with Irene and James for dog sitting and could not be happier. My dog has thrived staying with them. She is comfortable, eats, drinks water, and interacts with them instead of shutting down. I have been so amazed by their care of my dog and the consistent text and photos updates throughout the day. So thankful to have found Irene and James to care for my dog and fully recommend them for any dog care services!”

2. Jennifer H.

“Jen and Louis saved the day and came through for me and my chiweenie Willar when I really needed a sitter who understands my senior pup's needs. Willar has dietary restrictions and some quirks, and Jen was attentive, followed all the instructions for Willar's routine, and she asked very thoughtful questions. Additionally, her dog Louis is so welcoming and sweet. They really helped with some transitions I'm going through and were very accommodating.”

3. Kathryn F.

“Kathryn was great with Jasper. He played with her dog and had a nice walk. Probably got a bit spoiled as well. Definitely will be using Kathryn again in the near future.”

4. Amy M.

“Amy saved the day for my chiweenie, Willar and I. Her pup Winston is a such a cute little guy and very mild mannered. Amy took great care of my little senior pup currently on a special diet and needing lots of attention and affection. Amy was also flexible and understanding of my own separation anxiety being away from my furbaby 😄”

5. Tarang G.

“Tarang and her husband were so wonderful with my pup. He is often nervous with new people but warmed up to them right away. By day 2 of daycare, he was literally jumping for joy when we arrived at their building. Tarang is so kind and caring with him, and he apparently follows her everywhere. He also loves playing with her dog, Rio. Tarang’s building is really dog friendly—they have a patio and a little dog park. My pup has made new friends there and just loves it. I’m so glad I found Tarang on Rover. She’s the perfect sitter for my dog, and I feel great having such a warm and caring place to bring him during the day.”

6. Luciana V.

8. Donna S.
“Donna rescued her bassett hound Lucy eight years ago. She and Lucy shared the best life - long walks with lots of sniffs, loving belly rubs and naps on the couch. Donna is a true dog lover, and now that Lucy lives on in her heart, you can be sure your dog will be in patient, kind and good hands during their stay.”

18. Emma G.
About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs for my whole life. I’ve raised puppies and helped my own senior dog manage diabetes. I know how to recognize discomfort and anxiety and more importantly I know how to find a solution to make pets feel more comfortable. Right now I work from home with a very flexible work/life balance and schedule. For me, taking care of pets is a way of making sure I get out of the house and connect with my neighbors, so I’m happy to do it whenever I can! I have worked with many dogs with different needs, from separation anxiety to illness to acute diseases like an ear infection. I pride myself on my ability to notice the needs of pets and work to make them comfortable and happy. I’ll work with you to make sure I know where everything your pet needs is- including treats, medicine, emergency contacts, their favorite toy, and something that smells like you that can comfort them if they’re missing you extra. And if all else fails, I’ll communicate with you to find a solution to make sure your pet is happy.

About: I started taking care dogs when I worked at a veterinary clinic for 3 years back in Puerto Rico, 10 years ago. I know what is to worry about leaving your little one at a stranger's place; I've been there myself! In my home your small pup will have an entire room to itself if he/she is the anxious kind OR will only have 1 or up to 3 friends to play. Your choice. My apartment is large enough that I can meet your needs any time. I live alone in a 2 bedroom apartment and I work from home 100% of the time. I offer constant care 24/7 with up to 4 walks a day. Paw Expert Resident Lulu: I have a dog, her name is Lulu. She is a Chihuahua Mix and while she is very protective of me when we are out in public, she becomes docile and friendly when she's off leash or in the dog park. She loves to play with all 4 legged visitors. I schedule breaks on my work calendar 4 times a day. I take breaks often so your pups get plenty of fresh air. Your loved puppy won't ever feel lonely or anxious. Your dog can have an entire room for themselves with a hallway to look outside and if you allow it...they also have access to the balcony. Dogs are never left to roam free when I'm out. They are left in separate rooms or in crates because I don't want to risk injuries when I'm away.
