Born and raised in the Netherlands around dog trainers, I have 25+ years of experience in all types of pet care (medications, behavior, maintenance). Navigating the deep loss of my own beloved dog in spring 2025, has only strengthened my empathy for the bond you share with your pets and the trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. I've recently transitioned from full-time dog walking and sitting to a corporate role, and offer pet care around that schedule. I work 2 days remote and 3 days in office which is only 10min away, so I'll have plenty of time for your pup!! X I have a fenced yard, 4Mile Run Park at walking distance and no stairs in my apartment. I can easily crate your dog if desired and have tile flooring for easy cleanup.

About: My parents owned a doggy daycare and boarding place for dogs - I would watch over 40 dogs and ensure dogs never got into fights. I also have pet sat my neighbor’s dogs and cats and did drop in visits. And back in NJ, I always visit and look after my parent’s dog Bailey who is a yellow lab! I have a part time job, but I am available to do boarding, house sitting, and daycare from Friday to Monday! Dog walking and drop-in visits are anytime except 10 AM to 2 PM during weekdays. Side note: I live with a female roommate and my boyfriend likes to sleep over on weekends. Both of them are comfortable around dogs and cats. I would love to meet you and your pet beforehand to get to know you both and learn what needs to be done! In general, for client visits, I will always check in with your pet by giving them pets and/or scratches if they prefer. I’ll check to make sure they have enough food and water or feed your pet right away. After, I’ll go on a short or long walk for dogs. And of course, extra pets/scratches once your pet returns phone and double checking that the door/house is locked.

I work from home so can be pretty flexible with dog walks, check-ins and more. I love nothing more than having dogs in the house while I work! I have a very big fenced balcony and a friendly small dog (shitzu) who gets on with all hoomans and dogs! I can crate your dog at night if you like or they are welcome to sleep on the bed/sofa/their cushion…whatever they prefer!
