“Yejin accommodated miley on short turnaround notice the evening prior to the stay. She took miley out on an outdoor adventure and gave her all the attention she needed. Pictures were provided at the end of the day care. I recommend Yejin to any rover clients in need of a sitter!”

About: I I’ve grown up caring for dogs—especially large breeds—and genuinely love spending time with them. I’d be thrilled to help care for your dog and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away. I’m a registered nurse and work just three days a week, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time at home to provide attentive, reliable care. I am comfortable and experience in giving all types of medications as well and as a nurse I am very attentive to detail! I also have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy of my own, Nola, so I’m very familiar with the needs, energy, and personalities of bigger dogs. We spend a lot of time playing in our backyard aince it is fully fenced, front and back, and going on neighborhood walks, and I’d love to include your pup in the fun! We have a huge backyard that your pup can enjoy and a playmate as well! Look forward to taking care of your pups :) I am currently looking for something part-time to pick up and help out here and there when it is convenient in my current weekly schedule I am a very trustworthy and organized person. Being on time is key as well as being able to fulfill the tasks that is expected.
“Another fantastic stay with Bergit! She is absolutely wonderful with communication and our pup enjoyed every minute of her stay with walks, cuddles, and playtime. We’ll definitely book again. Thank you Bergit and happy holidays!”

“Matthew is wonderful! He made sure my dog had a stress free day with lots of love and walks. He sent some updated throughout the day. Highly recommend. Easy to work with!”

“Jen and Louis saved the day and came through for me and my chiweenie Willar when I really needed a sitter who understands my senior pup's needs. Willar has dietary restrictions and some quirks, and Jen was attentive, followed all the instructions for Willar's routine, and she asked very thoughtful questions. Additionally, her dog Louis is so welcoming and sweet. They really helped with some transitions I'm going through and were very accommodating.”

“Nina was great! We were on vacation and had a last minute change of plans. Nina responded quickly to our inquiry and was able to accommodate us last minute. She took great care of Shadow! I would use her again if we’re ever back in DC ?”

About: I have had dogs all my adult life. From feral rehabilitation, agility course training, anxiety mending/trust building, to senior & end of life care. I love all dogs & give them the care our companions deserve. Every day, I wake up to my two ladies (Xena, Border Collie & Winny, soft-coat Wheaton Terrier) and get to care for them. My life is completed by these twos adventures & antics. My ladies schedule: A walk EVERY morning at 5:30 -breakfast (yogurt, frozen blueberries over dry dog food) 10:30 we are at the private dog park, tossing the ball to burn off energy 3:00 walk/dog park -Dinner time (pumpkin, teeth cleaner, lamb topping over dry dog food) 6:00/7:00 walkies 9:30 last call BONUS: The weekend is reserved for trips to trails, outdoor dinning/dog friendly restaurants, bigger dog parks, or dog friendly events. The ladies are in their beds by 10pm.
“I was in DC for work and Scarlett took my dog Nili for an overnight and a day of dog sitting. Nili had a great time, she was so excited to see Scarlett when she was picked up the second time. I received lots of pictures and updates throughout the days. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Nice to meet you, I’m Ashley! I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I have grown up in a household of dogs, and have had cats, birds, rodents, amphibians, and horses as pets throughout my life. I am meticulous when it comes to your pets needs. My priority is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while they’re away from home. I telework the majority of the week, and have a flexible schedule that allows for multiple play and potty breaks during the day. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can take them out and walk them up to 4 times a day. I am an involved sitter, and will make sure your pet can play, walk, run around, and relax. I do not have pets in my apartment, which will help your pet feel at ease while you’re away. My complex is extremely pet-friendly. I have a fenced dog park in my complex’s backyard. Unfortunately, there are a few breeds that the complex does not allow, including pit bulls, German Shepards, and wolf breeds.

“Kate has been providing daycare for my new puppy on a daily basis. She is communicative, logs daily activities, provides reports at the end of each day, and takes many photos. She has also been flexible. Should I ever need to adjust drop off or pick up times. She has also been assisting with working on training and issues the puppy is having with fears (I.e. anything that makes loud noises, especially on walks). I will continue to hire her when she is available, highly recommend.”

“Our dog loved Irene and James! They were very sweet, communicative, and easygoing. They clearly know how to take care of dogs and were very attentive to our dog. Highly recommend!”

“I always get nervous leaving my 1 year old pup with someone new, but Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. I could tell immediately that she’s a dog person, and she sent me tons of updates throughout the day. I’m so grateful for her and will be booking again next time I need daycare!”

“Donna was very warm and caring towards our dog. She was very thoughtful in ensuring our dog felt comfortable and we really appreciated it. She was also fantastic in communicating with us! She clearly loves dogs and we highly recommend her!”

“Sarachai takes wonderful care of my Monti (see cute goldendoodle pic!). My dog cries with happiness as we drive up to his house and pulls me to the front door. The family is great about sending pics and letting me know how my dog is doing during the day. I am extremely comfortable with letting Monti stay. I'll continue to be a repeat customer.”

“Our dog, Cactus, had a great time with Jessie and Erick and their dog, Charlie. Cactus came home very tired from playing all day. They sent great photos on her Rover card and were very responsive and easygoing. We’d love to book again.”

About: As a pet-owner and rover-user myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust take care of your pets when you aren't available. I am passionate about giving dogs happy highlights to each and every day, and I love to play with them and take them on long walks to sniff and enjoy the outdoors. As a work-from-home employee, I am often free during work hours to pay your pet a visit or take them on a nice walk to help break up the day while you are away! I can be free on evenings and weekends as well, and would be happy to spend time playing with your pet and giving them happy moments each and every day while they wait for you to return. My dog loves to play indoors, which means I am extra vigilant that the house is safe for him should he get zoomies and run around the furniture. I would be careful to provide that safe environment for your dog as well, in your home or mine.

Troy was great! I adopted a dog and needed a sitter to watch him while I get him used to being crated when I go to work. He took the last minute request, was responsive, and took great care of my Beau! He also reported on some of his behaviors for me which was very helpful. All in all a great sitter and I would absolutely leave Beau with him in the future!
