About: I've been a dog owner for 12 years, and a dog and pet lover my whole life! I have had to send my two dogs to heaven in the last two years, and I miss having dogs in my life, but I'm not quite ready to adopt again. But I'd love to help owners with their pets, and shower them with affection and walks and dog park visits while they are in my care. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture in my home, of course! I telework 3 days per week, and when I am not teleworking I work short days, and am home most evenings as well. I am also available to sit in your home as well! While I don't have a yard, I live in Del Ray with many parks, trails, and dog friends to spend time with. I'm very active and love to hike and walk.

About: I’m happy to make each cat visit feel calm, cozy, and personalized whether that means playtime, chin scratches, or simply keeping them company from a respectful distance! I have two cats of my own who I absolutely adore, so I truly understand how important it is to have someone patient, attentive, and trustworthy caring for your pets. I carefully handle feeding, fresh water, litter box care, and can also give oral or topical medications when needed. I’m very familiar with feline body language and stress signals, especially with shy cats or multi-cat households, and I’m comfortable using automatic feeders, water fountains, and self-cleaning litter boxes too.

Because our PRIMARY concern is the health and safety of your furry family member, before we have the stay, ALL dogs MUST provide proof of RABIES AND BORDATELLA (KENNEL COUGH). We WILL NOT ALLOW your dog to board without the proper vaccinations. I work from home. For the most part I am always home with your pets. I usually walk every morning for about 4 miles. During the summer I do not do long walks during the afternoon. Evening walks are usually about a mile. Because we don’t have a a large yard, and a doggy door animals are always on leash when they need to go out. We walk our long distances in the morning before the temperature is above 85 degrees. Summer heat can be very dangerous so we do all we can to avoid heat stress. No matter how well your doggie works with you, they might not follow commands from us. Therefore your baby is never off leash when we leave the home for walks, potty breaks, etc. The only difference is at a dog park. We do take your babies to the park with your permission.
