“Nya was so good with Benji! She kept me updated throughout the day and made sure he was good and comfortable which would put any dog owner at ease while away. Thank you again Nya! Will definitely be booking again very soon!”

“Donna was wonderful, as always! She's warm, caring, and great with our dog. We also appreciated her clear communication and the regular updates she sent about how our dog was doing!”

“They are absolutely amazing. Piper had such a great time with them in Maverick.I would recommend them to anyone and will be one of my first choices for any future booking needs!!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for pets for over 15 years, and every animal I meet gets treated like part of my own family. Even though I’ve been a professional pet sitter for a couple of years, my goal is always the same: to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved, and to give owners complete peace of mind while they’re away. I currently don’t have pets of my own, but that just means I pour all my attention, care, and affection into the animals I do look after. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and pets with special needs, and I adapt to each animal’s personality to ensure they feel at home and cherished. I’ll always keep the owner updated with pictures, so they know their beloved pet is safe with me. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. I can offer regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship, making sure pets feel loved and never lonely while their owners are away. Being home allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine, whether it’s nap times, feeding schedules, or special needs, so they always feel comfortable and cared for. I provide care for pets in my home, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Living in a studio, I focus on giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and I take them on regular walks in a lovely neighborhood full of other friendly dogs. Safety is always my priority—I keep dogs on a leash and closely supervise them, so pets can enjoy their time with me worry-free.

“We had a great experience leaving our dog Otto to spend a day with Amina. She communicated very well and gave Otto the attention he needed. Otto also had the opportunity to enjoy the time with Snowy (Amina’s lovely dog). Thank you very much for the great care. Looking forward to have Otto spending more time with you soon.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for almost my whole life--we had two dogs and a cat in the house since I was about 8 years old, and I also took care of the neighbors' pets consistently! Over the past few years, I've regularly house sat and watched my neighbor's dog for 3-14 days a time, and also gave him 8 pills a day to help prevent his seizures. I've also boarded multiple dogs at my house while our friends were out of town, and helped take care of my parents' aging dogs and cat in the last few years of their lives. Mostly, I just love animals and want to help others when they need to be away from their pets! I will gladly send photo updates to pet owners, whether we're on a walk, playing, or having a little sleepover! :) I'm a freelance/wedding videographer, so the winter months are pretty slow and give me plenty of free time for dog walks or cat drop-ins any day of the week, or to board pets here while I'm working from home! I live in a townhouse with plenty of space for dogs to roam around. My usual daily walk is through a safe, residential neighborhood away from the main roads. Your dogs are free to jump on furniture/sleep in bed with me if they want. :) We also have plenty of room for crates and bedding. We have a small fenced-in patio space in the back where they can hang out outside-- it's not a grass yard but there are garden beds they can use for the bathroom! Pictures are included in my profile. We also live near a large field for running and fetch, as well as multiple dog parks if that's something you're comfortable with! My boyfriend also loves dogs and will be here in the evenings and on weekends for extra love and cuddles for your dogs! However I'll be the sole caregiver and the only one responsible for your pets at all times, so I'll always be the one feeding, walking, and supervising :)
“I’m so grateful for Matt! Our rescue foster Garnet is a bit of a handful and is still learning what it’s like to be in a loving home. I was totally upfront with daycare providers about this, and Matt was one of the few who was both able and willing to give Garnet a chance. Matt was amazing. Garnet had a blast and came home happily exhausted. Matt sent pics and updates throughout the day and was flexible with our schedule. His backyard is safe and secure, which was a must-have for us. You can tell Matt’s a kind, experienced dog person—he was calm and patient during the initial meet-and-greet with his pup (way more than I was!). We’re really hoping to work with Matt regularly going forward. Can’t thank him enough!”

About: I had two dogs growing up (Snowball and Mocha) and in recent years, have dog sat for friends, friends, and for Rover clients. It's rewarding and super fun for me! I enjoy the long walks in my neighborhood (I live in an awesome neighborhood for that) and lots of cuddles/belly rubs with the dogs I am sitting! I work from home most of the week and have plenty of time during the day for neighborhood strolls/walks with my rover pups. I love going for walks to take a break so would take the dog out at least 3 or 4 times a day with me. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom/2 floor condo with a balcony. The dog would have access to the first floor. We have hard wood floors, a ton of really great light and are on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators in this building. We have a ton of neighbors who have dogs, an elementary school near by with a nice track/green space, and lots of side walk space for walks.
“I am super happy with this pet sitter. This is her full time retirement job so my dog receives the care, stimulation, and attention it needs in a safe and comfortable environment. I can’t use conventional daycares since my dog is a foster and there are increased risks of fights and injuries with many dogs and not enough one on one attention. Her yard has a high and fully secured fence and is big enough to run around in for my husky. She owns a dog that is very friendly which helps give my dog the company and exercise he needs from playing tag in the yard. Huskies have high exercise needs and by the end of the day my husky is tired which is great and less work for me to do. My dog is also slightly special needs and inclined towards seizures and she was very accommodating and administered his medicine when I didn’t have time to get to it one morning. She is quick and diligent with responses and kept track of everything through the day so I got a report from rover that told me how many times he peed or pooped that day, as well as videos and pictures. This will be my go-to for daycare and pet sitting needs for as long as I have my foster dog. Would highly recommend if you want an ideal place to leave your dog where you can be assured that it will be safe and receive full attention and care.”

“Cynthia took fantastic care of Woody during his daycare visit. She took the time to learn his likes/dislikes and quirks so that he felt comfortable in a new place. And she managed to tire him out with fun and adventures with her and the other dogs.”

“Such a great sitter!!!! So grateful I found Merlyn and her sweet pup Nugget! My dog Bodhi loves hanging out with them while I’m at work! Would definitely recommend!”

“Miguel & Lisa have been absolutely phenomenal! My dog couldn’t wait to come back the second day. & They handled him eating a gallon of cat food so graciously. I wasn’t worried at all about Jäger while he was with them all day. Definitely will be a regular!”

“Phenomenal daycare - very communicative, pickup and dropoff is easy, and our dog always has a great time. She is very happy hear and clearly well cared for. 10/10”

“My dogs flew out of the car and pulled me to the door to see Brian, who seems to be their new favorite person. In my opinion, that is the best endorsement you could get! Happy dogs who are BEYOND excited to go back!”

“Keith and Jessica were very responsive and so sweet! We had a meet and greet before I dropped Charlie off to stay with them for a day and I could tell they just love having dogs around. I’m so glad I could take him to such a kind and caring home!”

“Esther and her wonderful husband are the perfect dog sitters! They helped me out in a last minute pinch. They were extremely amenable to my needs, and took special care of my little Galileo. Such a friendly, loving home! Highest recommendation I can give!!!”

“Exceptionally excellent pet-sitter; accepted looking after my pup with less than 24-hours notice. Extremely responsive, follows all care requirements, sends regular updates, very kind and sweet individual. You won’t be disappointed choosing & trusting her with your fur-baby’s accommodations. Will without a doubt need her in the future. Thank you Ms. V; we truly appreciate you!”

“Jen was a fantastic dog sitter!! She was super flexible with my schedule and was lovely about sending updates throughout the day. Thanks Jen!”

“Natalie was amazing with our dog Tilly. She was great at communicating, super accommodating and went above and beyond for us. 10/10 would recommend!”

Claremont dog parents share their Rover experiences
Corey and Nyla were great with Lola and Coco. They put me at ease with their experience, approach and good communication. They were very sweet to our rescue dogs who are still learning the ropes of a home and sought to make them feel comfortable. We will definitely look to them for future daycare and boarding needs.

Keith and Jess are incredible babysitters for our spoiled and high energy dog Sophie! We are so fortunate to have found them, and we couldn't ask for more. Sophie jumps out of the car and runs to their front door upon drop off, and crashes after returning from playing at their home, which is perfect. Keith and Jess are also very flexible and accommodating concerning schedules. I can't recommend them enough, and I know Sophie loves them both. Thank you Keith and Jess for everything!

Bernie had a great time at Esther's house! She and her husband took wonderful care of him. Bernie is an 8 month old bernese mountain dog puppy. He has lots of energy and needs a decent amount of attention. Esther kept him entertained and happy all day. He went on a walk and got to play outside in their backyard. We will definitely be coming back!
