Hi! I'm Katia. I'm a dog person- I grew up with them and love the energy and affection they bring into my life. I know they're family, not just pets. I frequently dogsit for friends, have fostered dogs, and spent the past two years volunteering at a shelter for special needs animals. (I also love The Dog Whisperer and Westminster dog show!) I work from home so your dog will have me there most of the time for playing, stimulation and treats. I live near several green areas, dog parks and running tracks so your loved one will get lots of outdoor time and exercise, and a quiet sunny place to relax by the windows after. I understand that routine is very important for dogs and I'll provide that, whether it's making food from scratch, getting up at a certain time for walks, or crate training. I always like to set up a meet-and-greet before a booking, so please get in touch.

She was absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful I found her! I had to travel unexpectedly at the last minute and was really stressed about finding someone I could trust to take care of my dog, especially because my dog was already not feeling well before I booked the stay. Despite knowing that my dog was unwell, she was incredibly understanding and still welcomed her without hesitation. She took such wonderful care of her and treated her with so much patience, attention, and kindness. She was also extremely responsive and flexible and kept me updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s never easy leaving your dog when she isn’t feeling her best, but knowing she was in such caring and capable hands made a huge difference. I truly appreciate everything she did for us and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their dog like her own!

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog will have me there most of the day. I only take one booking at a time and don't have a furbaby of my own yet, so your dog or pack will have my undivided attention all day. I like to do a minimum 3 walks per day, at least 20 minutes each, where your dog has my full attention. I'm quite active and go for regular walks and runs. Weekends are for longer walks, outdoor coffees and sniffs around the neighborhood and on trails.

Photos and updates sent daily. I’ll follow your regular diet, schedule and training. I’m able to administer medicine, crate and continue training. Clean, doggy-safe apartment (no plants hazardous to dogs within eating distance, doggy gate on the stairs, no other animals in the home.)
A typical day
The day depends on your dog’s average routine and activity level! I work from home and create my own schedule and will work around your fur baby. For senior dogs, there’s a quiet, warm and sunny nap spot near the desk and windows. For more active dogs, I go for a walk every morning by the parks and tree-lined streets, run 3-4 times a week, and hike for longer during the weekend— and can take your dog with me.
