In fact, we haven’t been separated with our Suga for so long, as a mom, I was really worried, as our Suga was a very clingy and not as independent as most other cats. My first option was sending him to a boarding facility, but we eventually decided to go with the drop-in Visit option. It turned out to be the best choice. About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was very young, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a pug, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. About: I have had dogs all my adult life. From feral rehabilitation, agility course training, anxiety mending/trust building, to senior & end of life care. I love all dogs & give them the care our companions deserve. Every day, I wake up to my two ladies (Xena, Border Collie & Winny, soft-coat Wheaton Terrier) and get to care for them. My life is completed by these twos adventures & antics. My ladies schedule: A walk EVERY morning at 5:30 -breakfast (yogurt, frozen blueberries over dry dog food) 10:30 we are at the private dog park, tossing the ball to burn off energy 3:00 walk/dog park -Dinner time (pumpkin, teeth cleaner, lamb topping over dry dog food) 6:00/7:00 walkies 9:30 last call BONUS: The weekend is reserved for trips to trails, outdoor dinning/dog friendly restaurants, bigger dog parks, or dog friendly events. About: My parents owned a doggy daycare and boarding place for dogs - I would watch over 40 dogs and ensure dogs never got into fights. I also have pet sat my neighbor’s dogs and cats and did drop in visits. And back in NJ, I always visit and look after my parent’s dog Bailey who is a yellow lab! I am currently searching for a new job and am doing Rover in the meantime! I’m available all day. Side note: I live with a female roommate and my boyfriend likes to sleep over on weekends. Both of them are comfortable around dogs and cats. I would love to meet you and your pet beforehand to get to know you both and learn what needs to be done! In general, for client visits, I will always check in with your pet by giving them pets and/or scratches if they prefer. I’ll check to make sure they have enough food and water or feed your pet right away. After, I’ll go on a short or long walk for dogs. And of course, extra pets/scratches once your pet returns phone and double checking that the door/house is locked.

“Kayla and Adam were wonderful hosts for our little Bonnie! This was Bonnie’s first time staying anywhere without us, but Kayla and Adam obviously love dogs and were simply great with her. Kayla sent reports with pictures several times a day, putting our minds at ease. And the fact that our dog, a very nervous and picky eater, was relaxed enough to eat on her first day told us very clearly that she was doing fine and felt at home with Kayla and her family. She also gladly watched my dog for an extra night than was originally planned when my flight got delayed. She sent me frequent updates and pictures of my dog, and it was obvious he was happy and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend her services and book with her again!”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients.
