About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was very young, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a pug, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently in my last semester of nursing school! My classes are online, and I only have one in-person clinical day per week, so my schedule is very flexible. About: My parents owned a doggy daycare and boarding place for dogs - I would watch over 40 dogs and ensure dogs never got into fights. I also have pet sat my neighbor’s dogs and cats and did drop in visits. And back in NJ, I always visit and look after my parent’s dog Bailey who is a yellow lab! I have a part time job, but I am available to do boarding, house sitting, and daycare from Friday to Monday! Dog walking and drop-in visits are anytime except 10 AM to 2 PM during weekdays. Side note: I live with a female roommate and my boyfriend likes to sleep over on weekends. Both of them are comfortable around dogs and cats. I would love to meet you and your pet beforehand to get to know you both and learn what needs to be done! In general, for client visits, I will always check in with your pet by giving them pets and/or scratches if they prefer. I’ll check to make sure they have enough food and water or feed your pet right away. After, I’ll go on a short or long walk for dogs. And of course, extra pets/scratches once your pet returns phone and double checking that the door/house is locked.

“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! We would definitely recommend booking with Alyce and are confident we’ll be requesting her services again in the future!”

I shared this with Jennifer and Joel at the meet and greet and reminded them at drop off. They sent pics and videos every day, which really helped us to feel that our girl was also “on vacation” and having a great time with their two dogs. “Kayla and Adam were wonderful hosts for our little Bonnie! This was Bonnie’s first time staying anywhere without us, but Kayla and Adam obviously love dogs and were simply great with her. Kayla sent reports with pictures several times a day, putting our minds at ease. And the fact that our dog, a very nervous and picky eater, was relaxed enough to eat on her first day told us very clearly that she was doing fine and felt at home with Kayla and her family.
