About: Not just another dog lover! I’ve had at least one dog, plus, at all times. Most from a puppy until departure. Experience with rescued dogs in making them feel comfortable/relaxed. We had a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. I’m very patient, caring, & don’t mind petting or playing all day. I’m hoping to give them the love and care when you can’t be ther. I work from home several days during the week and can properly share my time for walks, feeding, and playing. I have a Cocker Spaniel who gets along with other dogs well. About: I have a had a dog for 17 years as my family dog. I helped walk her, feed her, play with her, and in general care for her. I lived with a dog for 6 months when my previous roommate had a dog. I helped feed her, take her for walks, and was able to put her in her crate when needed. I am a teacher so I am unavailable during the day on weekdays. I am available in the evenings during the week and throughout the day on weekends. I am unavailable to care for your pets in my home. In your home I can comfortably put your dog in a crate, if needed

About: I love all dogs, but I've grown up taking care of primarily large dogs like Pitbulls. My neighbors rely on me very often to take care of their pets when needed. I currently have a very flexible schedule while I am going to college online. I am available during the week and some weekends! Pet care is already built into my daily routine, so please let me know how I can make your day easier by spending some time with your fur baby. During the walks your fur baby is my main focus. I love going for long walks to get some energy out, but short walks are also nice. I walk my sweet dog separately from other fur babies to alleviate the stress of dog introductions.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life — from our childhood Irish Setter, Sadie, to our five cats and three birds. Beyond family pets, I’ve also cared for my own animals, including my boss’s elderly Chihuahua, Tu, who is now a sweet 15‑year‑old “little old lady” that I look after entirely, as well as my pony, Sea Star. I bottle‑fed Sea Star as a child, trained him to ride, and taught him to pull a cart throughout high school. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I dog‑sat for our neighbors for two summers, managing their eight rescue dogs with no issues. I also volunteered to feed and care for a friend’s 13 horses once a week, morning and night, throughout an entire winter. Over the years, I’ve taken responsibility for all of our family pets as well. About: I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs and cats, as well as reptiles (I even have one of my own, his name is Ollie)! I have experience with administering oral, topical and subQ medication as well as things like inhalers. In addition to feeding the pets, walking dogs and changing cat litter, I particularly love just spending time with your pups and kitties and giving them whatever they need to be happy. I could spend hours brushing cats or dogs and routinely give baths for my puppy, Samoa. I’m a big cuddler but also love a good hike in the forest. I am home for the summer after graduating college and will be attending veterinary school at VMCVM in the fall! Animals are my whole life so besides also working at the VEG ER for Pets in Falls Church this summer I would love to get some more pet time by doing Rover :) I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse for the last 4 years, including 1.5 at a high-volume emergency hospital. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid, and have loads of experience administering medication (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc.). I also always say that if I wasn't going into vetmed I would have wanted to be a professional groomer - I looove giving a good spa day!
