About: I have grown up with cats and dogs all my life! I am experienced with reactive dogs as well! I am about to get a puppy myself in my home! Please consider that if you intend on boarding with me. I work remote so I am able to drop by and let your pet out/ play/ walk your pet as needed! I understand feeling guilty about letting your pet be home alone all day and I’m here to help! I also am experienced with reactive dogs too! I will be getting a puppy July 2026 as well so please take that into consideration when booking boarding. I will always be cautious of entering your home and leaving your home to prevent any type of escapes and make sure that they are content before I leave and make sure nothing is in reach to maximum safety!

My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

I was an elementary school teacher for 8 years so patience, organization and an intense sense of care are my strongest skills. About: I have experience with dog training, specifically puppies. I had the good fortune of learning how to train my Border Collie puppy, Khailo, (now 10) with a CCI-certified service dog trainer specializing in puppies. Khailo and I saw the trainer multiple times per week for about a year, establishing a good foundation that he always go back to. Raising Khailo taught me so much and turned me into a HUGE dog lover. Prior to that I liked dogs, now I LOVE them, and speak their language. I know how to properly walk a dog instead of letting the pup walk me, I know how to encourage good habits, and I will ALWAYS keep your dog's safety a number one priority. I also have experience administering medication to both puppies and adult dogs, have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs, have experience watching multiple dogs at once, and also have experience with play-dates and dog parks. I will treat your pup as if they are my own. I look forward to being of service to you and your pup! I currently work full-time with a hybrid schedule, where I’m in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have both daytime and evening availability on Tuesdays, Fridays, weekends, and all major holidays. I am also available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings before 8 am and evenings after 6:15 pm. I am open to both short-term and long-term set schedules to accommodate you and your pup's needs, and am available for boarding both at my home and pet-sitting at your place of residence. I live in a very pet-friendly community with lots of outdoor space for your pup to play, as well as an indoor dog park for inclement and/or freezing temperatures. When providing care at your home, I will respect all rules you have for your pup, such as not being allowed on furniture, etc. and will stick to your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. I would be providing service outside of my home. Your pup’s safety is my number one priority and, having been trained by a CCI service dog trainer myself, I am well-versed in translating your dog behavior, thus keeping them safe in all environments and under all circumstances. I am a very maternal person, and will give your pup all of the love, care and attention they need!

About: I have taken care of a range of dogs, from puppies to seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk their dogs, feed them, and sometimes stay overnight. I have also been one of the primary caretaker's for my family's dog, Ernie, who we've had since he was a puppy. In the summers, I am free most of the time, for whenever I am needed. I am already used to factoring in pet care into my daily life, planning walks and care around different points in the day. I will treat your fur baby like it's my own. I will make sure to keep a close eye on your pet, will give them lots of love and attention (and of course treats!). I will follow any regulations that you, as the owner, would provide.

About: I grew up with a Newfoundland which made me very comfortable and loving of large breed dogs! I also spend a lot of time with an adorable dachshund! I believe being around this range of sizes has made me aware of their needs and specific care and how they differ. I’m an animal lover and will take care of your dog as if it’s my own! I work from home three days a week with a flexible schedule that allows for walks or potty breaks and some much needed play time! I live in a first floor apartment with grass all around! The space is cleaned frequently and easy for a dog to roam around. It’s right across the street from big area with grass to run around in and a very walkable spot or Arlington! There are no other animals in the home.

About: Basset Hounds are natural characters and totally unforgettable––their droll eyes, wing-like ears, spotted fur and droopy, well––everything! They seem to possess this natural intelligence and a well of wisdom like Sherlock Holmes. Well, I grew up with a Basset Hound named Sadie and she was a major character in my life. I can’t think back on my childhood without remembering our wonderful memories, even if it’s in a subconscious, spiritual kind of way. I think growing up with her as a member of my family with such a unique personality, I’ve always been drawn to oddball pups. Eventually I became a special education teacher who has a hyperactive rescue dog with special needs and an indifferent, fat cat. Just as I care for human children, I extend the same level of care and dedication to our beloved canine (and feline) babies for friends, family, and total strangers from the Internet. I’ve cared for animals since I was four years old, and I’ll always have them in my life. In the past, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter and have experience training dogs. Although this line of work requires training and understanding of how to deal with different personalities, physical disabilities, and backgrounds––there’s also this element which can’t be taught or faked. I’m just a steady, easy-going, respectful, and kind individual. I don’t need to try to be patient because I’m usually very open-minded and attuned to the fact that we’re all unique and different but we’re also beautiful and awesome in our own way. I know the world isn’t always a friendly place, but being around lovely kids and happy dogs gives me hope and recharges my batteries. Some people find children and animals annoying or a needy, but I think it’s the complete opposite. Their energy, innocence, and unconditional ability to love and be accepting are lessons adults can learn and employ in their daily actions. I see them as spongy mirrors––they’ll give back what they absorb. If children and dogs are around tons of love, laughter, and a sense of security, they will give back so much compassion and loyalty. Cats, well, they’re a whole other story. My schedule is adaptable but not totally flexible since I’m a special education teacher during the day, but I have weekends off, all school breaks, and evenings. I update my availability often, but I’m more than happy to help you last minute or even if it’s for a walk because of an emergency. If my schedule allows, you can count on me. I do teach summer school, so my mornings are usually busy but I’m free afternoons and evenings, and around for Labor Day weekend. Once the school year starts in the fall, my availability will shift slightly. My other passion is spending time in the outdoors, from walking to biking to hiking to swimming. I try to stay active and your pup is sure to get a lot of fresh air time.
