“We’ve been working with Jennifer for over a month now, and she has been absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly communicative and so flexible with my unpredictable schedule—I can book her a few days in advance, and she always accommodates. Since we just moved from Kansas, my dogs have had a tough time adjusting, especially one who has anxiety, but Jennifer handles them with such care and kindness. Both my girls are so comfortable with her—she’s truly a gem! I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

“Lianna has been great so far with Tucker! First and foremost, she really impressed me with our meet and greet. Asking such thoughtful questions, she showed how dedicated she was to providing the absolute best care to Tucker! With every walk since, Lianna has been diligent about updating me and even going as far as working on some training with Tuck. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind care provider for their fur babies!”

“Amazing! Extremely reliable walker and fast response times! We needed someone to walk our two large dogs everyday over holiday break and could not be more pleased with the service! He will be our go to from now on.”

About: I love all animals, big and small, and I am not afraid of any size. I feel all animals should be loved just as us. I was raised with cats and dogs, but love all types of animals. I can watch animals on a brief basis or longer depending on the situation. However, depending on the type of animal and their needs I can take care of all animals. The animals that I can look in on have no boundaries. If I watch an animal I would need it to be potty trained and comfortable in a small yard. It would get plenty of care.

“Our dog Winnie loves going on walks with Aislyn! Aislyn is happy to let her wander and sniff to her heart’s delight, which really helps tire her out in time for some lazy afternoon naps.”

About: Hi! I’m Cora, a student majoring in Food Science in Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I grew up in Arlington and will be staying here for the rest of the spring and summer. As a lifelong caretaker and lover of animals, I am really excited to join Rover and show some love to the pets here. I have always been obsessed with animals, and my experience in a variety of contexts makes me confident I can give your pet the best possible care while you’re away. I practically grew up in my local animal shelter, reading to rescue cats and waiving adoption fees through bake sales. As soon as I was old enough, I became an official volunteer, responsible for socializing animals, walking dogs, and adhering to the highest safety and sanitation standards. I became certified in rescue pet welfare through the Fear Free Shelter program, giving me the knowledge necessary to put shy dogs at ease. I also foster puppies through the Lost Dog Rescue foundation, giving me a firm grasp on the needs of younger dogs, from potty training to administering medication. Need a sitter for an exotic pet? No problem! In high school, I took a Career and Technical Education class in the advanced small animal sciences. I gained hands-on experience with countless pet species, from leopard geckos to chinchillas to cockatiels (and everything in between!) I also wrote a research report on the welfare of the school’s rabbits, taught the class cats how to high-five, and became certified in pet first aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Your pet is your family, and as a college student, I deeply understand what it means to be apart from them. Trust me to treat them with as much love, kindness, and respect as I show my own pets. I can’t wait to meet them! Aside from a few virtual appointments, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my day. Your pets would be my top priority - I’d love to go for long walks, play outside, and/or meet a new study buddy :) Safety is my top priority when it comes to pet-sitting. I am certified in Pet First Aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Additionally, through my volunteer position at the Animal Welfare League, I pursued extra coursework through the Fear Free Shelters program to learn about rescue pet welfare and animal psychology. Most recently, when my pair of 8-week-old foster puppies fell ill, I took them to the vet and learned how to administer various oral medications. I provided care at all hours of the day and night, successfully nursing them back to health. Beyond my qualifications, I've been described as exuding quiet confidence that puts animals and people at ease. I prioritize gentleness and kindness in all of my animal interactions; with your pets, I'd focus on minimizing stress because I know how attached pets and their humans are.
“Juan took such good care of mocha. He cared for him as if he was his own. I would highly recommend him if you want someone to go that extra mile for your furry friend!”

“What a pleasure Liliana is! She was so patient with both me & my newly adopted pup. She really took the time to understand both of our needs! So happy I found a great dog walker in the area!”

About: I've been taking care of pets in my neighborhood and with friends/family since I was 10, and I've really built up a passion and know-how for animal care. Here's what I'm good at: * I've got experience with all sorts of dogs, from bouncy puppies to chill older dogs, so I can figure out what each one needs. * Cats of every age, from playful kittens to senior felines – I get their needs. * I'm also really good at caring for senior dogs and cats, making sure they're comfy and happy with special routines. As I am currently unemployed, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most day and night requests, whether it's a midday walk or vacation check-ins. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. I am meticulous about following all pre-established rules of the home and pet, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for them. I am also flexible and adaptable, willing to adjust to the specific needs and preferences of each animal and their owners.

About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for years, with dogs of all different shapes, sizes, and needs. I've walked dogs, checked in, or spent the night. I'm an avid animal lover and love meeting and spending time with new dogs! I'm a college student home for the summer with lots of flexibility in my schedule. Even though I'm a college student early mornings are fine with me, I'm happy to be with your dog any time of the day. I'm adaptable to whatever rules and established routines you have in your home. I don't mind getting up early and I'm an avid walker so I'm happy to get outside any time.
“Isabelle walks my goldendoodle furchild every day and she’s such an important part of Maya’s life. To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

About: I've had pets for most of my life, but in recent years, I've been actively caring for my mother's cat whenever she travels, along with her two Chihuahua dogs. I even lived with them for a while. Pets bring me joy, and their companionship fills me with tenderness. I currently reside in Arlington and have ample time available to walk pets or care for them in their owners' homes, Monday through Friday. I am available between eleven in the morning and three in the afternoon. I'm available, preferably within the metro area, to take your pets for an enjoyable walk or, if needed, to visit them at home and spend quality time with them.

My days off vary each week- just feel free to reach out to me and let me know what you're looking for! I have one very friendly dog in home, he is fully crate trained and can be kept in a separate room if needed! About: I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and truly have never met an animal I didn’t love! From energetic puppies to sweet senior pets, I’m happy to care for dogs and cats of any age. I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I love getting to know each one. With a very flexible schedule, I can provide dependable, loving care, plenty of attention, and lots of snuggles while you’re away. I work in a fully remote role with a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Whether your pets need midday walks, extra companionship, or a consistent presence at home, I can typically work around your schedule and provide attentive, reliable care. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I don’t host pets in my own home because my dog prefers not to have furry houseguests. I’m more than happy to come to your home instead, allowing your pets to stay in their familiar environment and routines while receiving loving, attentive care.
About: I love being around animals and have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I have volunteered for the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation and the Animal Welfare League of Arlington where I have looked after dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments. I have a flexible schedule and committed to ensuring pets feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for while their families are away. I have recently graduated from William & Mary and have an open schedule with the flexibility to walk, feed, care, and tend to your pet during your preferred times of day. I am also available to house sit and stay overnight with your pet. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I will take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to give you peace of mind and ensure the needs of your pet are prioritized. I will provide updates, send photos of your pet, and communicate clearly. I didn’t realize I could be even more grateful for Vianca, but here I am!! She took the absolute best care of my best bud during an insane heat wave, even going as far as to bring him a cool bandana to wear during his walk so he wouldn’t overheat. You can’t teach this type of intuitive, thoughtful care - she is simply magic! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
