“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! “Nyla and Corey took excellent care of my pets while I was visiting my brother in Alexandria. They were able to accommodate a last minute request due to an unforeseen work situation I was in. Corey was able to pick up my pups and bring them home which was a huge help, as I am not very familiar with the DC Metro area in addition to the horrific traffic. They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. They both came home to me happy and sleepy, I know that Finn would not be sleepy if he did not get the stimulation that he needs especially at this stage of his life. Thank you, Corey and Nyla! I appreciate you both so much and would give you more than 5 stars if I could! I will be a repeat customer, hopefully not last minute next time! Thanks again for caring for my babies!”
“It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

About: I’ve had furry family members all my life. Finally got my own and live having a pup to train, pamper and love on. Let me share that experience with you and your pup as well☺️ I work from home, which makes pup care easier. My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. I have access to fenced parks and fields less than 1min walk where I take Jade regularly. I like to play Chakra Healing Frequencies

When I have clients for my business, I’m normally not gone for more than four hours a day. “Isabelle walks my goldendoodle furchild every day and she’s such an important part of Maya’s life. To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”
About: I've had loads of experience with dogs of many breeds and ages! My family dog was deaf & blind so I also have experience with dogs with varying need levels! I have one dog in home named Biscuit (8yr old male cavapoo) I also take care of cats!! I work in pastry so I am up early (3/4am) and am home by 2pm every day! My days off vary each week- just feel free to reach out to me and let me know what you're looking for! I have one very friendly dog in home, he is fully crate trained and can be kept in a separate room if needed! I live just a few blocks from the swampoodle dog park so we can always walk and play there! :) I have plenty of dog toys, food/water bowls, etc in home if needed as well

“We highly recommend Lily for dog boarding/dog sitting. She took wonderful care of our Golden Retriever, Luna, while we were on vacation. Lily not only cared for her basic needs (feeding, potty breaks/exercise), but also gave her lots of love and attention while we were away. Our pup loves people and other dogs, but she is very attached to her humans and can get anxious when separated from them. So, this is only the second time we’ve left her in someone else’s care. We’re so grateful to Lily for making it a success. Luna seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up. Lily was great about communication, providing daily updates, pictures and video of Luna. In all of them, Luna looked happy and content, and very much acting like her happy self. Lily is a clear, professional, caring, pleasant, thoughtful and responsible caregiver. Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease.
