Doggone Dependable
I grew up surrounded by a menagerie of pets including birds and reptiles, and of course cats and dogs. Their comfort and security are my top priority. My main objective is to prevent unnecessary stress to any animal. I just moved to Arlington, VA for a job, so I am taking new clients. Note: For all dog walk requests, I require a meet and greet in person before accepting a booking request. *During the ongoing government shutdown I have opened up my availability.

Maria is THE best!! My pup is blind and I get very nervous leaving her. Maria took incredible care of her and really took the time to bond with her. She sent multiple daily status updates and the cutest pictures. My pup fell in love with her. Maria is the only sitter for us!!

I'm a recent graduate from Oregon State University. I got my master's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. I moved to the DC area for a job with US Fish and Wildlife Service. I have every other Friday off so I can accommodate early and mid-day requests for those days.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I am very careful with any and every animal. I will lock all doors and ensure all gates are closed. I will ensure they have plenty of food and water and any other pet amenities (e.g. pee pads, litter boxes, etc.) are clean and easily accesible.
Pets
A typical day
We'll go on walks exploring new routes when possible. If there's a dog park, I'd love to take them there. If there's space or they can be off-leash, we can play with a ball until they're tired out.
