My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I just love animals! I have worked for an animal advocacy organization and received ongoing education about the care of companion animals. I volunteered at Fairfax County Animal Shelter walking and showing dogs, and fostering dogs, cats, kittens, guinea pigs, rabbits and more. I know how to meet a pet where they need me to be, whether it's lots of snuggles or lots of personal space. I grew up in a house full of animals and I look forward to meeting you and your precious pet. I'm only in the office 2 days a week so I have good flexibility to take care of your treasured pet and look forward to meeting you both! I have a fenced in patio area for lounging outdoors and great walking paths with lots of things to sniff. I love playing fetch and teaching new tricks if you're up for it!

She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. About: I've had loads of experience with dogs of many breeds and ages! My family dog was deaf & blind so I also have experience with dogs with varying need levels! I have one dog in home named Biscuit (8yr old male cavapoo) I also take care of cats!! I work in pastry so I am up early (3/4am) and am home by 2pm every day! I have one very friendly dog in home, he is fully crate trained and can be kept in a separate room if needed!
