Hi! I’m a recent Physician Assistant graduate from EVMS with over 10 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant. Throughout my time in veterinary medicine, I cared for dogs and cats in clinical and boarding settings, including feeding, walking, administering medications (oral and injectable), and assisting with special needs and senior pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including those that may be anxious or require extra care. My medical background also allows me to recognize early signs of illness or distress, providing added peace of mind while you’re away. I have experience with basic grooming such as bathing and nail trims, as well as safely handling pets when needed. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust and communication are. I provide reliable, attentive care and will keep you updated with messages and photos during each visit. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and last-minute bookings I’m currently preparing to start my career as a PA, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care.

I treat every home with respect and ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment.

Lucia has been walking my puppy and my senior dog almost every day for the past month or so and has been great. She is very communicative, providing photos and updates after every walk. She also is very accommodating when the unexpected comes up such as days when I did not go into the office. She is very reliable and trustworthy.
Fantastic human being who will love your pets like they are her own. Lucia was an amazing communicator, knowledgeable, and all around awesome. I don’t want to write too good of a review because then she will have too many clients!!! Anyone would be lucky to have her sit for them!
I get nervous leaving my Gus with anyone. He is 15.5 and has some medical issues. But, Lucia was phenomenal and took wonderful care of him! Gus sadly got sick when Lucia was watching him, and she handled it all so well. She was very communicative and showed Gus a lot of love and care to help him feel better. I’m so thankful it was Lucia who was here while I was away. I highly recommend Lucia to take care of your fur babies.

Schedule
I’m currently preparing to start my career as a Physician Assistant, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as weekends and last-minute bookings. I build my daily routine around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and timely care.
