typical visit includes plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment tailored to your pet’s needs. For dogs, this may include walks, playtime, and mental stimulation through games and interaction. For cats, I focus on play, comfort, and maintaining their routine. I always ensure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and receive any medications if needed. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

Hi! I’m a recent Physician Assistant graduate from EVMS with over 10 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant. Throughout my time in veterinary medicine, I cared for dogs and cats in clinical and boarding settings, including feeding, walking, administering medications (oral and injectable), and assisting with special needs and senior pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including those that may be anxious or require extra care. My medical background also allows me to recognize early signs of illness or distress, providing added peace of mind while you’re away. I have experience with basic grooming such as bathing and nail trims, as well as safely handling pets when needed. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust and communication are. I provide reliable, attentive care and will keep you updated with messages and photos during each visit. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and last-minute bookings I’m currently preparing to start my career as a PA, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care.

Lucia was able to watch my senior dog on very short notice for a last-minute work trip, and she was wonderful. She took excellent care of him, making sure he got his medication on time and letting him set the pace for his walks based on how he was feeling each day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. I twas very happy with her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.
Lucia watched our dog over the weekend in our home and was great to work with. Our dog is anxious and reactive but Lucia took the time to make sure she was comfortable with her, was proactive about understanding all her quirks and triggers, and made sure to stick to her schedule and usual routine while we were away. We came home to a happy pup and she left our home clean and tidy, even taking out the trash before she left. She was very communicative and sent us plenty of updates and photos. Would not hesitate to book again!
