“Thanks Aisha! Pickup and drop off were both super easy. Communication was excellent from initial contact and beyond. I highly recommend using Aisha for your dog boarding needs. Thank you for the pictures and videos!”

“I couldn't recommend Gail more- she was absolutely amazing, and Bella (our pug) really seemed to enjoy her stay. Gail was very respectful of Bella's daily routine and sent us daily updates (which put our minds at ease during our trip). You can tell Gail loves dogs as she even makes her own dog biscuts -- so cool!! We hope to use Gail in the future and highly recommend her to others.”

About: I have raised two dogs, lived with two cats, have many years of experience in dog- and cat-sitting, and have a few years of experience in fostering shelter dogs and cats as well! I currently don't have any pets of my own so your pet will get my full attention. :) Pets are allowed on the furniture/bed. I have experience taking care of anxious pets and dispensing medications (both pill/tablet and liquid form). I am a student out of school for the summer, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet! I can provide as much mental/physical stimulation and potty breaks as you wish. Let me know what you are comfortable with and I will abide by your rules! Pets are members of the family and will be treated as such :)
About: Hi! I’m Nicole, a lifelong animal lover and professional belly-rub provider. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and have also cared for bunnies, fish, and birds, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I've volunteered at animal shelters and pet sat for family friends, giving me experience with everything from energetic zoomie enthusiasts to professional couch potatoes. I offer walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and boarding. I live in a pet-friendly community with plenty of dog-friendly walking areas nearby, giving pets lots of opportunities for exercise and outdoor time. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Before caring for your pet, I'd love to learn about their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions. The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I offer free local pick up within 3 miles! Located in Arlington ,reach out for more details. :) Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Since most of my classes are online, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide frequent check-ins, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. “My brown Pomeranian, Bentley, absolutely loves staying with Margarita. He’s usually nervous during drop offs for trips, but with her, he happily walks away from me as soon as he sees her. As a senior, he needs daily medication, and she does a wonderful job taking care of him. She’s very responsive and sends daily updates, which I really appreciate. And in every photo she shares, he’s all smiles! Some trip stress is taken off me knowing that he’s in good hands.”

“Our second time booking with Jorge & Alejandra, they are wonderful! Took such great care of our pup, she got more playtime with them than she ever gets at home! Will definitely book with them again.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Orie and keeping me updated. It definitely made being away from him so much easier knowing he was in good hands and doing OK!”

“Anmei was an exceptional rover who seemed to care for Miley and give her the attention she needed. I received updates and pictures throughout the stay to make sure she got her exercise and was kept safe and happy. Miley was also accompanied by her partner and her dog which ensured additional care and activities. Neighbor was also very peaceful and dog-friendly. I highly recommend Anmei to anyone looking for a sitter in the area!”

“AS ALAWYS HEIDI AND MARK DO NOT DISAPPOINT! They are seriously one of my favorite sitters for Argo. They send me the best, I mean best, updates on him. I know he is always in great hands.”

“McKinley was the best sitter we could’ve had! She was able to accommodate to a last minute request. She sent frequent updates and my pup felt so comfortable in her house with her other pets. 10/10 best sitter in the area!”

“Hazel is great!! She has many, many years of experience boarding cats and dogs and it shows. She took care of our 2 very different dogs for 4 nights - one is a funny, active 6 year old and the other is a senior rescue beagle who requires daily medication (and loves attention). She sent me detailed updates with multiple pictures each day. When we picked them up they were both at ease and in great moods. My senior can have some anxiety but was clearly happy as a clam. Both are pretty accustomed to being able to hop on furniture and beds at our house, and Hazel allows pups to do the same at her home. When we go out of town we want to make sure our pups are in good hands, and they are with Hazel. I plan to ask for her help with my pups again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“This is the second time we have left our Newfie with Andrew and his family. Once again our Millie was treated like a Queen. She obviously received lots of attention as she was hesitant to leave when I came to pick her up. I just booked her next stay.”

About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for homes, people, and pets. Throughout my work in housekeeping, many clients entrusted me with the care of their pets, including both dogs and cats, often in households with multiple animals. I am experienced with feeding routines, litter box care, walking dogs, basic grooming support, monitoring well-being, and providing both playful and gentle companionship depending on each pet’s personality and needs. I am comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and administering basic attentive care when required. As a former CNA, caregiving has always been second nature to me. Whether caring for people or animals, I lead with patience, compassion, and responsibility. I understand the importance of trust when someone is away from their loved ones human or furry and I take that responsibility seriously. I am also skilled at multitasking and managing busy households while still ensuring each pet receives individual attention and care. My goal is simple: for pet parents to feel completely at ease knowing their pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for in a calm and loving environment. In addition to pet care, I teach classes on Zoom twice a week as part of my regular routine. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and plan my availability in advance. Because of this, I am able to reliably provide dog and cat care services throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed. I am organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive consistent attention and care while their owners are away. I provide pet care directly in the client’s home so pets can remain in a familiar, comfortable environment and keep their normal routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box maintenance, and any special care needs. I also make sure pets receive companionship, attention, and gentle interaction based on their personality whether they are playful, shy, or more independent. I am very mindful of keeping the home clean, secure, and respected at all times. With my background in housekeeping and CNA work, I am used to being responsible in other people’s homes and understanding the importance of trust, privacy, and consistency. My goal is to ensure pets feel safe and cared for, and that owners return to both happy animals and a well-kept home.
“Charnetta was a great sitter. She sent plenty of pictures of my dog and she was able to keep him an extra day on such short notice. He came back home very happy. Thank you”
“Katelyn was great!! She watched Olive for one night and was an attentive babysitter! She sent a ton of photo updates, was super responsive, and overall very nice.”

“Ollie has the best time with Donna and always comes back so happily tired! And we love all the adorable updates she sends. Ollie is excited to head back to Donna’s next week for more fun!!”

“Matt and Kelly (and their sweet daughter!) took great care of Robbin while I was away! They took her on plenty of walks and runs and I received pictures while I was away which was very much appreciated.”

Highland Park-Overlee Knolls dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michael (and his family) took excellent care of our very active adolescent pup. He was extremely communicative, shared photos of our puppy during her stay with him, and gave us updates on her care. Best of all, our pup seemed happy and safe. I would, without hesitation, recommend him as a boarder, and will certainly use his services again.

Laura is absolutely wonderful and I can’t recommend her enough! She gave my pup so much love while we were gone…and think he would’ve loved to have extended his little staycation at her home. She is very responsive, sends the cutest pictures, and provided my pup with a calm, joyful, caring home away from home. We will definitely be using her again!

Trevor and Kari were absolutely wonderful! They were incredibly accommodating when we needed a sitter on short notice after another arrangement fell through. From the moment we met them, we felt comfortable leaving Kobe in their care while we traveled to Japan for two weeks. They kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Kobe comes with specific feeding instructions and daily medications, and Trevor and Kari did an excellent job making sure all of his needs were met. Most importantly, he was well cared for and received all of the snuggles and attention he demands! We could tell he felt right at home. We are so grateful for their flexibility, kindness, and excellent care. We would not hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, attentive, and caring sitters!

Thank you for taking such great care of Navy!!! We can tell she had a great time and almost didn’t want to leave! Prisila was willing to dog-sit for us super last minute, sent us updates every day, and was very communicative! We appreciate it and will definitely be coming back! 🩷
