“Absolutely Endorse Emily! Your dog is in the Best spot with Emily! We went to the beach for a week and our regular doggy sitter was not available. Pulled in by the reviews and messages between Emily and myself, I felt assured that my dog, Zeta, would be well taken care of while we were gone. Emily is a mature young lady with an enthusiastic personality and interacts naturally with the dogs. Emily's house is perfectly set up for dogs of all sizes-it is a large yard with lots of space to run and cool places to explore. She has doggy beds and everything to provide water and a good meal for them. In addition, Emily takes the dogs for daily runs and to a dog park right by her house. When I picked up Zeta at the end of the week she was happy to see me but I could tell that she had a great week with Emily.”

They let me walk around the house, answered all my questions beforehand, and even little things like having rugs on the hardwood made me feel better about him being there. Their comms were very clear and timely, they definitely know what they are doing in terms of thinking forward about how to give your dog the best experience and to give you peace of mind while they are being boarded there. Both their home and their yard are well-tended - no hazards for dogs like wires, broken boards, etc. They were also flexible in terms of dropoff/pickup times, as well as accommodating reasonable requests for toys, treats, and food options. They also allowed a friend of mine and their dog (who recommended me to Helena and Nathan) to stop by for a short playdate. Great experience and will book again!”

Jennifer was extra kind this time, giving him medicine and more walks since he couldn’t run around her spacious front yard due to a healing injury. “This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! “I took my dog Scout to a meet and greet with Susan and her dogs before committing to a stay. Susan asked lots of questions and watched Scout as he explored her yard and house. I felt comfortable leaving him with her and her dogs because she seemed like a caring person and she paid attention to the details about Scout that were important to me. She sent pictures and updates to me while I was away. When I picked him up I could tell that he liked her and that he was happy! Scout had a great time at Susan’s house and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the area.”
