Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! “Nyla and Corey took excellent care of my pets while I was visiting my brother in Alexandria. They were able to accommodate a last minute request due to an unforeseen work situation I was in. Corey was able to pick up my pups and bring them home which was a huge help, as I am not very familiar with the DC Metro area in addition to the horrific traffic. They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. They both came home to me happy and sleepy, I know that Finn would not be sleepy if he did not get the stimulation that he needs especially at this stage of his life. Thank you, Corey and Nyla! I appreciate you both so much and would give you more than 5 stars if I could! I will be a repeat customer, hopefully not last minute next time! Thanks again for caring for my babies!”

About: I’ve had furry family members all my life. Finally got my own and live having a pup to train, pamper and love on. Let me share that experience with you and your pup as well☺️ I work from home, which makes pup care easier. My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. I have access to fenced parks and fields less than 1min walk where I take Jade regularly. I like to play Chakra Healing Frequencies

She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. “I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I’ve helped to take care of cats my since I was a young kid and have gotten more experience in caring for dogs over the last few years. I’ve always loved animals, and I am a very meticulous person so I will pay great attention to make sure your pet(s) and home are well cared for. I worked for a few years as a scientist prior to starting medical school last year, so attention to detail is a skill I’ve learned to hone. I’m currently on break from school, so I have a fairly free schedule at the moment. Once my classes start again I’d like to move into something I can do more so in the mornings or evenings, but my schedule will still be more flexible than a typical 9-5. I am a very detail-oriented and meticulous person, so I will pay attention to make sure that your pet and home are safe and secure.

“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! We would definitely recommend booking with Alyce and are confident we’ll be requesting her services again in the future!”

“We highly recommend Lily for dog boarding/dog sitting. She took wonderful care of our Golden Retriever, Luna, while we were on vacation. Lily not only cared for her basic needs (feeding, potty breaks/exercise), but also gave her lots of love and attention while we were away. Our pup loves people and other dogs, but she is very attached to her humans and can get anxious when separated from them. So, this is only the second time we’ve left her in someone else’s care. We’re so grateful to Lily for making it a success. Luna seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up. Lily was great about communication, providing daily updates, pictures and video of Luna.
