About: I’ve had furry family members all my life. Finally got my own and live having a pup to train, pamper and love on. Let me share that experience with you and your pup as well☺️ I work from home, which makes pup care easier. My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. About: I’ve loved dogs since as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always the friend who would come over and play withy friend’s dogs as much as possible since we couldn’t have one due to allergies (my dad). I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs, as I got my own puppy in summer of 2022. My dog is super social/friendly with other dogs and loves to play all day long. I also frequently watch my friend’s dogs whenever they are out of town. You pup will be treated as if they are part of my family! I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so your dog will be in good hands no matter what! Just let me know any specifics for care and I’ll be sure to take the best care of them! I primarily work from home during the week, so I’ll be around to watch your pup during the day and night! Weekends I am also available to watch the pups! I typically am flexible on whether I leave the dogs home alone and for how long, so just let me know what works for you! I live in a house with a fenced in yard and have one dog of my own who is very social around other dogs. There’s also quite a few parks/fields around me where I typically take my dog, so your pup can get plenty of exercise! We take our dog out 3-4 times a day, but can be flexible for your pets needs! About: Hi! I’m Cora, a student majoring in Food Science in Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I grew up in Arlington and will be staying here for the rest of the spring and summer. As a lifelong caretaker and lover of animals, I am really excited to join Rover and show some love to the pets here. I have always been obsessed with animals, and my experience in a variety of contexts makes me confident I can give your pet the best possible care while you’re away. I practically grew up in my local animal shelter, reading to rescue cats and waiving adoption fees through bake sales. As soon as I was old enough, I became an official volunteer, responsible for socializing animals, walking dogs, and adhering to the highest safety and sanitation standards. I became certified in rescue pet welfare through the Fear Free Shelter program, giving me the knowledge necessary to put shy dogs at ease. I also foster puppies through the Lost Dog Rescue foundation, giving me a firm grasp on the needs of younger dogs, from potty training to administering medication. Need a sitter for an exotic pet? No problem! In high school, I took a Career and Technical Education class in the advanced small animal sciences. I gained hands-on experience with countless pet species, from leopard geckos to chinchillas to cockatiels (and everything in between!) I also wrote a research report on the welfare of the school’s rabbits, taught the class cats how to high-five, and became certified in pet first aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Your pet is your family, and as a college student, I deeply understand what it means to be apart from them. Trust me to treat them with as much love, kindness, and respect as I show my own pets. I can’t wait to meet them! Aside from a few virtual appointments, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my day. Your pets would be my top priority - I’d love to go for long walks, play outside, and/or meet a new study buddy :) Safety is my top priority when it comes to pet-sitting. I am certified in Pet First Aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Additionally, through my volunteer position at the Animal Welfare League, I pursued extra coursework through the Fear Free Shelters program to learn about rescue pet welfare and animal psychology. I felt at ease knowing that my dog was in good hands and having a good time. It was a great experience both for my dog and for me. She was sensitive to any concerns or specific attention areas that I had as well. I will definitely reach out to her again when I need to leave my dog in trusted hands, and I’m sure my dog would be happy to return as well.”

I would say within five minutes of the meet and greet it was clear that Shanilka and her husband would be taking great care of him. “BLUF: Book in confidence. Helena and Nathan were great. Their comms were very clear and timely, they definitely know what they are doing in terms of thinking forward about how to give your dog the best experience and to give you peace of mind while they are being boarded there. Both their home and their yard are well-tended - no hazards for dogs like wires, broken boards, etc. They were also flexible in terms of dropoff/pickup times, as well as accommodating reasonable requests for toys, treats, and food options. They also allowed a friend of mine and their dog (who recommended me to Helena and Nathan) to stop by for a short playdate. Great experience and will book again!”

I was nervous at first because this was our first time using Rover or going away without our doggo, but Aisha made me feel confident and comfortable in her abilities to take care of our boy the very first hour she had him! He had a blast playing at the dog park, got to go on long walks, and made a new doggo friend with her dog. I HIGHLY recommend Aisha to anyone and will definitely be booking her again in the future (if she'll have our silly pup again!) If I could give her 10 stars, I would! She was amazing!”
