To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for years, with dogs of all different shapes, sizes, and needs. I've walked dogs, checked in, or spent the night. I'm an avid animal lover and love meeting and spending time with new dogs! I'm a college student home for the summer with lots of flexibility in my schedule. Even though I'm a college student early mornings are fine with me, I'm happy to be with your dog any time of the day. I'm adaptable to whatever rules and established routines you have in your home. I don't mind getting up early and I'm an avid walker so I'm happy to get outside any time.

Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: My childhood dog was obsessed with my dad, so I didn't *truly* embrace my love of dogs until I moved in with an anxious, expressive Weimaraner 15 years ago. Beyond walking and sitting my sweet "furnephew," I have cared for a sassy Chihuahua, a paranoid bowling ball (aka Pitbull), a ball-obsessed Jack Russell mix, and a shy English Springer. Most significantly, I co-owned a stubborn, aloof Shiba Inu for more than four years, starting at 9 weeks. He taught me a special appreciation for reactive, highly-vigilant, and misunderstood dogs. I was accustomed to writing detailed instructions to make sure my sensitive boy felt comfortable and safe with any walker or sitter. I work mostly from home, and I'm looking to fit in sitting and walking engagements into my downtime to get my dog fix. I will also be available some evenings and weekends. I live in a dog-free building, but I am ready to take care of your pet in your home to fit your needs. I'm comfortable crating dogs as you deem necessary, letting the dog roam in a fenced-in yard, playing with a variety of toys in your home, or taking your dogs on walks with my full attention.

About: I’ve taken care of a multitude of different dogs and cats throughout my life - whether it be for friends, neighbors, family, or even coworkers! I have lots of experience in cat care - including grooming, nail trimming, and oral medications. I have 3 cats of my own, so I’m very adaptive to all sorts of cat personalities! My experience with dog care is just as plentiful! I’ve taken many on fun walks, played fetch, groomed fur, and dispensed oral medication. I’m rather good when it comes to pulling on leashes, and I also have experience training young puppies. I’m available at all times during the week! Whether you’re looking for someone to check in on your pup to feed, give bathroom breaks, groom, or play with, I’m available morning, afternoon and evening! The same applies to kitty owners! I always make sure all fenced in homes are securely locked in the event a dog wants to play outside. All leashes and collars will be checked before walks, and if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs I will be sure to maintain a safe space between myself and other owners. As for cats, I always make sure that all doors are quickly closed and closed all the way to prevent any indoor kitties from escaping. If your cat is outdoor/indoor, I’ll make sure they get back inside safe and sound!

About: I’ve loved all kinds of animals my entire life. Cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, birds, fish, chickens, you name it! Right now I have a sweet black kitty cat and a self-important chihuahua. Keeping multiple personalities happy is my superpower. Your pet is about to get SO much love and attention. We're talking belly rubs, treats (with your permission, obviously), and someone who can make them feel so special and loved while you're away! I can do medication schedules, I can do endless fetch, I can do "please just sit next to me while I exist" whatever your baby needs. I currently work from home so I have the flexibility to pop over to your house and be a friendly presence and go on walks whenever! I always start by learning your pet's routine, preferences, and quirks so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible for them. Whether it's sticking to their feeding schedule, keeping up with walks and playtime, or just being there for cozy hangout time, I follow their lead. I'm great about communication. You'll get regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. And if anything seems off with your pet's behavior or health, I'll let you know right away. Whether I'm caring for your pet at your home or just swinging by for a walk, my focus is the same: keeping your pet safe, happy, and well-loved until you're reunited. 🐾
