Currently, I work full-time, in-office Monday through Thursday, so I'm available in the late afternoons and evenings those days. I have open availability between Fri-Sun. CONSTANT CARE: I can only provide constant care from Thu evening-Sun. I define constant care as: animal/s cannot be left alone for more than 2 hours. I charge for constant care at a premium rate starting at $200/night for housesitting or $35/hour.

When I’m in your home, my goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved—just like you never left. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can keep things consistent and stress-free. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure your home is left just as you left it (or better!).

Un día normal
I will feed and care for your pet according to their normal eat/sleep/bathroom schedule as much as possible. Depending on your dog's physical needs and tolerances, I love to start my days outside, whether that's in your yard or for a quick morning walk. I'll play and snuggle with your pet throughout the day and complete a midday walk. Typically, after your pet eats dinner and before bed, I'll do a last walk.

In my free time, I volunteer for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria! I have formal animal care training on dogs, cats, and small mammals through my volunteer work, as well as a lot of personal animal experience. I’ve grown up around animals (mainly dogs) my whole life-- in all shapes, sizes, temperments. I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and more, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets and personalities. Most of my own dogs have been rescues, which taught me patience, empathy, and how to earn a pet’s trust. I’m currently missing having a dog at home, so spending time with your furry family members is the next best thing!

Always super responsive and kind.
Ajia is INCREDIBLE! I seriously could not have asked for a better sitter. She was so responsive, took time to share all about Chelsea’s day, made sure to give her all the snuggles and even took her on longer walks than I had asked for. Absolutely amazing care and made me feel so at ease while I was traveling. I will always ask Ajia first for my overnight stays. Thank you x a million!! :)
Ajia was wonderful! She took pictures and sent us little snippets of how the dogs were doing. We have one dog who needed daily medication and another dog who can have bursts of energy and then be a lap dog. Ajia loved both dogs. We will definitely use Ajia in the future.
Ajia was amazing with Rosa and we highly recommend her. She knew how to handle our high energy girl, and we could tell that Rosa had a great time with her during her stay. Ajia stayed at our house and it was spotless when we got home. She went plenty of updates and pictures, and we didn’t worry at all during our trip. Will definitely hire her again!
