He followed instructions well without being able to meet in person. He communicated throughout our trip and made sure we knew if anything came up out of the normal. He offered reasonable adjustments to schedule based on what he saw fitting for Bruno. I could tell that Juan cared for Bruno and Bruno was in good hands. My housemate told me that Bruno was more excited to see Juan than anyone else in the house. As long as Juan is available I will look to him to take care of Bruno when needed.”

To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

About: I have pet sat for my neighbors since I was 15 years old, professionally so for a collective 8 years. (from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. I am pet cpr/ first aide certified, currently own a 9 year old Grey Domestic short hair cat, Thor, and my 28 year old horse, Riley. I am looking to head back to school for veterinary medicine with focus on large animal sports medicine/orthopedics. Eventually mixed practice too. In the horse world, I have 33 years under my belt, with my godmother introducing me at age 3. I am passionate about pet care, large and small. Most experience with cats, dogs, and horses and looking to expand. From the toy breeds of canine, to the extra large goofs, I enjoy caring for your loved ones as if they were my own. Shy guys? No problem! I take my time letting them get to know me without offense. Need a little extra help on training homework from your professional training team? Currently in the process of signing up to renew my pet cpr and first aid certification. And I hope to start vet med prerequisites online at NoVA Community College. The later I am able to balance with all the attention on your pets. My neighborhood is nearby Scott's Run, Great Falls Park and Riverbend Park here in McLean and Geat Falls, Virginia. If ok with pet parents, I can take them for a walk (one at a time) during in home boarding. We don't have a fenced yard but our neighborhood offers plenty of walk routes. At client's home, I try to keep our walks with in the neighborhood and no socializing due to safety, even if your pup knows a neighbor's pup.
