About: I spent a month caring for an elderly dog back in college. I ensured she received her daily medications and took her on walks on the icy Midwest winter sidewalks. She was a joy to spend time with! I currently work part time and on my own schedule, so I am flexible and able to schedule a visit that can meet your fur-baby’s needs! I wake up early and am available in the mornings and in the afternoons, and also can make time for nighttime visits. I offer drop in services, dog walking and housesitting! I am happy to arrange with you the best possible care for your pet and learn more about how to care for your unique fur-baby! Please tell me your needs and wishes and we will communicate and create a plan together. I am happy to send photos and updates of your pet at the frequency you would like! About: My childhood dog was obsessed with my dad, so I didn't *truly* embrace my love of dogs until I moved in with an anxious, expressive Weimaraner 15 years ago. Beyond walking and sitting my sweet "furnephew," I have cared for a sassy Chihuahua, a paranoid bowling ball (aka Pitbull), a ball-obsessed Jack Russell mix, and a shy English Springer. Most significantly, I co-owned a stubborn, aloof Shiba Inu for more than four years, starting at 9 weeks. He taught me a special appreciation for reactive, highly-vigilant, and misunderstood dogs. I was accustomed to writing detailed instructions to make sure my sensitive boy felt comfortable and safe with any walker or sitter. I work mostly from home, and I'm looking to fit in sitting and walking engagements into my downtime to get my dog fix. I will also be available some evenings and weekends. For reliable recurring care, I work with my partner, Mike, a fellow 5-star Rover sitter. With your prior approval, he may occasionally cover a scheduled walk when needed. We coordinate closely and follow the same care routine, communication standards, and safety practices. I live in a dog-free building, but I am ready to take care of your pet in your home to fit your needs. I'm comfortable crating dogs as you deem necessary, letting the dog roam in a fenced-in yard, playing with a variety of toys in your home, or taking your dogs on walks with my full attention.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. As an elementary school teacher, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Having loved my own dog, Stella, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family member while you’re away. I’ve cared for large dogs, bully breeds, senior dogs, and puppies, and I’ve volunteered and fostered for animal rescues. I’m happy to provide overnight care and can host small pets (caged or contained) in my home, while offering in-home visits for dogs and cats. My goal is to give more than just food and walks; I provide love, attention, and companionship so every pet feels happy and cared for. I currently work full-time as a teacher. Workdays are usually busy from 8:00-5:00. My weekends and holidays are flexible. During weekends and holiday breaks (FCPS schedule currently), I'm free to create my own schedule and would base it on the pet's needs first. I can't currently take dogs or cats into my own home, but I can care for them out of the comfort of their own home. That might mean petsitting/housesitting, or if your pet is comfortable sleeping alone overnight, I can accommodate their needs with visits instead of sleeping over. As for other pets, I can take those into my home for care, or out of your home.

About: Growing up, we had almost as many dogs as we did kids in the house. My parents were huge pet people, so I guess they just passed it down to me as well however, even as a child, I always had a love of animals. There were many times that I brought home birdies with broken wings, or tried to sneak frog in the house without my mom noticing. My love for animals only grew the older I got but also my education. Being able to work directly under licensed veterinarians, gave me the opportunity to understand treatment plans for minor and major issues that animals can face. I was given the opportunity to work with newborn animals along with those that require senior care. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of animals that are expecting and helping to bring new life into the world. It was during this time, but many friends and neighbors took the opportunity to ask me to watch their animals. Anytime they went on vacation or maybe just had to take a long business trip. Even when an animal is in their home, having a new person around can still sometimes be nerve-racking. But I take pride in knowing that I’m able to make sure they feel comfortable and loved even when their parents are away. I work from home teaching English as a second language. This allows me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I have open availability Monday through Friday. I’m also able to help out on the weekends depending on the timing. However, I’m willing to be flexible. Traveling as an adult with pets can sometimes be difficult. I remember being stressed over whether or not I’ve picked the right boarding facility, or worrying that they would have too many differences in their day-to-day routine while I was away. Pets deserve to feel just as loved and cared for even when moms and dads need a vacation. I would love to be able to provide both you owners and your pets with a sense of trust and security.

About: You know how Jess from New Girl is with puppies? That’s me! I am a dog owner myself and have experience taking care of pups at a dog day care center. I am extremely attentive and will offer quality enrichment so you can come home to a happy dog! I work full time with flexible hours so I am available to drop by during lunch hours or even after work! I’ll work with you to find the best timings! I make sure safety is a priority for pets. As a pet owner myself I am hyper-aware of my dogs needs and I will make sure ur puppy is safe (will watch what they are chewing on, make sure sidewalks are safe for walking etc.)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 and have a Beagle who lives at my parents’ house. He’s 17 now so I have experience with older dogs. My boyfriend’s family has a small toy poodle who we have dog sat multiple times. Additionally, I have done dog walking for pets in the area. I usually take them out during my lunch break for a stroll around the block! I work from home everyday. My schedule on Monday’s and Fridays is typically pretty open. I am around most weekends so I have flexibility. My boyfriend, who also loves dogs works from home 2-3X per week so your pooch will get a lot of attention! Since I am currently in an apartment, smaller to medium sized dogs would be best. We also have a small balcony which dogs tend to love. Bonus: we have turf grass on there so they love it even more.

About: Hi! I'm an elementary school teacher who's off for the summer and looking to stay active while meeting new pups. I have a very flexible schedule week to week! I I have a 4 year old lovable Berner and a 1 year old daughter. I love dogs of all sizes especially ones that love attention and lots of scratches. I also love cats and would be happy to spend time with them! I will be off for the summer so I have a very flexible schedule. I will be home most days taking care of my own dog and daughter. There will be lots of walks and love! I have a very friendly dog who will be able to keep your dog company throughout the day. He is pretty lazy and tolerant to younger/more energetic dogs.
