About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I am a college student currently so my schedule is quite interesting! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.

About: I'm a college student and soccer player who loves dogs and misses mine at home! I have both small and big dogs growing up, so I'm comfortable with all breeds and personalities. I can keep up with high energy dogs and take. them on long walks at a great pace. Campus is full of dog-loving people who are happy to say hi and give pets if your dog loves attention! If your dog prefers quiet time, I have a calm dorm room where they can relax and feel safe. I'm responsible, reliable, and doing this to help with college. expenses, but mostly because I truly love dogs. I balance class and soccer practice every day, but my schedule is consistent so I have plenty of time for pet care. I'm available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, with longer walks in the mornings and evenings. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet in my care. I follow all instructions closely to maintain their routine and keep them happy and comfortable. I'm comfortable with dogs on the bed if that's their normal, and I have a crate available if needed.

About: I’ve house sat a lot and cared for pets, including injured or sick dogs. I had dogs growing up as well! Open to almost any job, just can’t bring pets back to my place. I work 9-5, and I’m happy to feed, walk, and play with pets in the mornings before work and in the evenings. Overnights are also great if you don’t want your pet to get lonely at night. I cannot have pets at my home, but I can come to your home and care for the pet in the environment they are used to. Happy to be inside or outside as much as you’d like me to.

About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I just got a vet assistant job so usually it requires me to be away for 6 hours! I can only do all day pet sitting on Wednesdays and Sundays which I have off! I always make sure that I understand the instructions that I’m given and maintain clear communication with the owner if I have any questions. I never make any assumptions and always make sure that the owner is comfortable with any decisions that need to be made.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of every kind for the past year. Friends, family, and neighbors have all been able to rely on me as a trusted, capable pet sitter. I currently work as a part-time tutor, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets. My schedule’s flexible; we can talk about whatever it is you need from me whenever you need me. I keep the dog sitting environment friendly, making sure they don’t run off and have plenty of play time. I never leave them alone for extended periods of time, giving them a watchful eye and paw-sitively great company.

About: I’ve jumped at every opportunity to take care of friend’s and family members’ dogs since I was in elementary school! I’ve taken care of dogs with varying medical needs and across a range of breeds. I truly find any time spent with animals a gift, and I’m excited to begin my journey on Rover and help take care of yours. I am available after 4 pm on weekdays due to my full-time job, but I am open to house sitting on weekends or during school holidays, dependent on the holiday. I am also more available for dog walking and drop ins on weekends. If you aren’t sure about my availability, don’t hesitate to ask! I aim to begin fostering animals soon, but my residence is currently pet free, so I’ll have time to focus on your fur babies! I have experience with dogs across a spectrum of needs and have experience orally providing medication.
