About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I am a college student currently so my schedule is quite interesting! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.

She communicated frequently with us and is great at listening to everything we told her about there personalities. I was concerned that one of our puppies would not be too friendly with a stranger and I left there snacks outside for her to come in with. That helped so much!! I would most definitely recommend Hannah to everyone wanting to ensure your fur babies are well cared for while you are away!!!”

About: I'm a reliable and frequent house/plant/cat sitter based in Glover Park with my own car to get from place to place. Can do anything from quick check-ins/feedings to litter box cleanings and cuddles for pets that need extra attention. I have an 11 AM-7 PM full-time job in Shaw, so I typically stop by houses before work, though I can come by after as well. In others' homes, I definitely make a point to be unobtrusive and let pets go about their usual business + get used to me being there before I approach them (unless they're friendly from the jump). I want to be respectful of your home and your pets' space!

About: My family has pampered and spoiled our yellow Labrador for 15 years of walks, runs, fetch, cuddles, and treats. We’ve cared for him from his crazy puppy years to his gentle old soul. I’m a whole-hearted dog lover and care for other dogs like they’re my own. I have been a Rover dog walker/sitter for over five years now, and have loved each and every dog! I have a flexible work-from-home schedule! I am a graphic designer, so I often work independently with a light meeting schedule. I can accommodate one walk during the work days, and any other walks needed in the evenings. While walking dogs, I make sure to walk them safely distanced from traffic and passing cars. I am always respectful of my client’s homes and neighborhoods, and make sure to clean up after their pups!

About: I have pet sat for my neighbors since I was 15 years old, professionally so for a collective 8 years. (from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. I am pet cpr/ first aide certified, currently own a 9 year old Grey Domestic short hair cat, Thor, and my 28 year old horse, Riley. I am looking to head back to school for veterinary medicine with focus on large animal sports medicine/orthopedics. Eventually mixed practice too. In the horse world, I have 33 years under my belt, with my godmother introducing me at age 3. I am passionate about pet care, large and small. Most experience with cats, dogs, and horses and looking to expand. From the toy breeds of canine, to the extra large goofs, I enjoy caring for your loved ones as if they were my own. Shy guys? The later I am able to balance with all the attention on your pets. My neighborhood is nearby Scott's Run, Great Falls Park and Riverbend Park here in McLean and Geat Falls, Virginia. If ok with pet parents, I can take them for a walk (one at a time) during in home boarding. We don't have a fenced yard but our neighborhood offers plenty of walk routes. At client's home, I try to keep our walks with in the neighborhood and no socializing due to safety, even if your pup knows a neighbor's pup.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. As an elementary school teacher, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Having loved my own dog, Stella, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family member while you’re away. I’ve cared for large dogs, bully breeds, senior dogs, and puppies, and I’ve volunteered and fostered for animal rescues. I’m happy to provide overnight care and can host small pets (caged or contained) in my home, while offering in-home visits for dogs and cats. My goal is to give more than just food and walks; I provide love, attention, and companionship so every pet feels happy and cared for. I currently work full-time as a teacher. Workdays are usually busy from 8:00-5:00. My weekends and holidays are flexible. During weekends and holiday breaks (FCPS schedule currently), I'm free to create my own schedule and would base it on the pet's needs first. I can't currently take dogs or cats into my own home, but I can care for them out of the comfort of their own home. That might mean petsitting/housesitting, or if your pet is comfortable sleeping alone overnight, I can accommodate their needs with visits instead of sleeping over. As for other pets, I can take those into my home for care, or out of your home.

About: I grew up always taking care of my Labrador Retrievers :) I have a true love for animals and being in school doesn’t financially allow me to have my own. All profits from Rover are going to help fund expenses during PA school! I’m currently in school full time in GWs PA/MPH program in clinical year. My schedule shifts every ~6 weeks, but I update my calendar weekly to reflect my availability. I live in an apartment building on an end unit which is surrounded by a quiet, very friendly and walkable neighborhood. Depending on the service, I’d be able to and happy to bring dogs on long walks around our neighborhood. About: Hi, I'm Chloe! I am 25 and am located in Arlington. I love working with animals, and have quite a bit of experience myself. I have a sweet kitty named Pumpkin, who is my very best friend! I am from a small town, Berryville, where I grew up with many dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, you name it! I have years of experience of pet-sitting, volunteering at animal shelters, as well as assisting one of my childhood dogs in giving birth to 9 puppies.
