About: I’ve wanted a dog ever since I could remember. At 16 years old, my dream finally came true and my family was blessed with our wonderful Maltese, Toby. He is now turning 12 years old this year! In addition to having experience with my own dog, many friends and family have asked me to take care of their fur babies. I’ve had experience with dogs as old at 16 years old and others as young as less than a year - I absolutely love them all! Saturdays and Sundays are free! I work 9am-5pm on the weekdays, Mondays and Fridays I work remote. Tuesday through Thursday I am in office, but my husband will be home to help. I live on the second floor of a condo, so no need to wait for an elevator to get outside! We also have a huge balcony if your fur baby just wants to get some fresh air. If we are in your home, I will make sure to follow all rules and ask questions if I’m unsure about the safety of your pet.

About: I grew up with a loving (and clingly) yellow lab in the house. If you couldn't tell from my photo gallery, he's sort of the center of my universe. Over weekends, while my parents were out of town, I would be in charge of taking care of him: taking him out, feeding him, walking him, putting him to bed, and giving him the attention he deserves. I still watch my dog while my parents are away or if he needs to visit Washington, D.C., and I have pet-sat for friends and colleagues from school. About: My first "real job" was being a dog walker, where I would walk a cocker spaniel named Gonzo after school for 3 years. Since then I have dog and cat sat for neighbors through the years, both for short weekend trips and for longer multi-week trips requiring me to house sit as well. I fostered my first kitten for a month while in college, and helped foster over 30 cats and kittens during the pandemic since I had a little extra time on my hands. Over the past two years I have been pet/house sitting most months. I have watched everything from one dog or one cat for 4 days, to two cats and a dog for 2.5 weeks. I've watched puppies and kittens from 4 weeks old and on, and dogs and cats as old as 14 years. The actual breeds have been all over the place, but in terms of dog size I've watched everything from small terriers and daschhounds to huge labs and german shepherds. In addition to owning and caring for a goldendoodle for 11 years, I've also done a lot of pet sitting for my parents 6 year old rescue hound/lab mix and 4 year old rescue short-haired cat. While watching your dog(s) or cat(s) I would rearrange my schedule as needed to prioritize giving most of my attention to your pet(s). I work remote and generally have a flexible schedule, so I could feed/walk/care for your pet(s) following whatever schedule they are used to. I don't work on the weekends and would be able to dedicate any needed time on weekends to caring for your pet(s)! I am happy to care for your pet in your home the same way you typically do so that they maintain the same routine. Whether that means letting your dog(s) out in a fenced backyard, taking them for neighborhood or trail walks, going to a dog park, or following standard crate rules. Similarly for cats, I am happy to maintain the same feeding schedule, whether it's wet or dry food, and clean the litter box regularly. And of course, give your pets all the scratches and attention they want!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have worked as a pet sitter and walker for the past 6 years. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes as well as have experience taking care of young puppies and kittens. I am also an avid equestrian so really an all around animal lover. I’m open to taking care of animals with all levels of training. I’m currently a student at American University and I live right next to campus. Their yard was amazing - especially for our 95 lb mutt who just loves to run. And our little old man loved the cozy beds around the house. They sent pics and videos every day and our boys came back happy and healthy. As a bonus, while we have noticed our dogs often come back from Rovers smelling like a kennel, after a weekend with Helena and Nathan they came back smelling great!”

“Harley was so happy to go back to Jennifer and her wonderful family for a long weekend. He gets showered with love by Jennifer, her sweet daughter Ramsey, and Grandmom Anne! I’m so happy he gets a happy easy-going doggy friend in Khali, and experience with Pursey the cat. It’s so nice knowing that he is so beautifully cared for. Jennifer was extra kind this time, giving him medicine and more walks since he couldn’t run around her spacious front yard due to a healing injury. We love getting updates and adorable pictures throughout his time there. I’m not sure Harley really wanted to leave!”
