“Korrey did a wonderful job taking care of our German Shepherd Quincy and hound mix Sydney while we were on vacation for a week. Sydney is a little skittish towards new people, but she warmed right up to Korrey - he has very calm energy. Korrey administered several medications for the dogs and also picked up the dog poop in the backyard. He followed all instructions, sent a few pictures, and I never had any issues getting in touch with him. I was nice to be on vacation and not have to worry about our pups at all!”
About: I love to care for all animals. I think they’re the most innocent and precious things we’ve got in this world and we should never take them for granted. I love them soo much and on top of making their day better by caring for them And playing with them, they make my day better as well when i need to put a smile on my face. I would love to take care of anyone’s pet if they need me to without question, I’ve had pets around me for as long as I can remember and I don’t remember one bad memory with any of them, this would be something I genuinely enjoy doing and would be more than happy to do, thank you! :)

Watching him and my dog interact, it’s clear that my dog really liked him and that Mark combined gentle caring with firm direction in an optimal way. She also cared for our hermit crab, Mittens, watered our hydroponic microgreens and outdoor plants, and treated everything with such care. About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting. I always make sure that I understand the instructions that I’m given and maintain clear communication with the owner if I have any questions. I never make any assumptions and always make sure that the owner is comfortable with any decisions that need to be made.

I’m currently working part-time and usually on weekends so I have plenty of time to check in on your pets! I am also happy to check in between shifts on days when I’m working as well. I am happy to provide specialized care for every pet. In your home, I will care for them exactly as you would! In my home, I can provide frequent walks and lots of pets. I do have one cat and one chiweenie in my home but I can crate my pets as needed.

Our kitties are a bit high maintenance (we have a senior cat that requires meds, and our senior cat and younger cat don’t get along and need to be kept separate) and Hana closely followed my instructions on how to care for them. Lauren was an absolutely terrific Dog Sitter!! She was genuinely excited to be with our 3 fur babies, treated them as if they were her own, asked lots of questions and followed our directions to the letter. One of our pups had a medical emergency and Lauren could not have been more attentive and caring and compassionate. She went out of her way to take our pup to the vet, made sure he had all of his medications, and then ultimately taking him to the vet emergency hospital, all the while, caring for our other two pups as well. She went above and beyond and we are eternally grateful. She’s the best!
Our little Morkie took an instant liking to Larissa. She was timely, responsive, sent great photos updates & we returned to a spotless house & happy pup. She even went above & beyond, helping out w/ a neighbor’s package delivery. We would definitely book her again as an overnight pet sitter!
I am tempted to skip a review because I want to keep Summar all to ourselves! She is absolutely wonderful. Despite my being an anxious person, I never feel any worry leaving my beloved Comet with Summar. He is thrilled to hang out with her and seems equally happy with her or with us! Summar takes perfect care of our house, including emptying dehumidifiers, taking in/out the garbage cans, coordinating a visit from a contractor and cleaning service, watering plants, etc, etc. She cares for Comet like he is her own pup. I feel so lucky to have Summar as our pet sitter... and hope my gushing reviews don't let the secret of her amazingness spread too wide!
Mackenzie is AMAZING! She stayed with our two pups during our long vacation. She kept them walked, fed, medicated, and happy! The house was also immaculate when we returned, and she routinely kept us posted that everything was good on the homefront while we were traveling. Would highly recommend!
Leyli was great with our girls! She was very responsive and always kept us in the loop about how our pups were doing. She was also very sweet helped tidy up the house for us the day we came back. She’s a great sitter and we look forward to having her help again in the future!
First of all Marie is just an all around lovely person. I really enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her. She is also a great pet sitter. My pets are a little challenging. While they are sweet, they also need a lot emotionally and each one has a special consideration that makes them just a little more difficult than the average pet. Marie did a great job caring for them and my home. I had never used rover before and she relieved all my anxiety about this new experience. She was wonderful and I am so grateful for her having been here with my needy crew while I was away.
