1. Christina S.
“Christina is amazing! I was very cautious about hiring just any Rover because I live in a busier area where there is a lot of traffic - I wanted to make sure that Max and Bailey would be safe during their walks. Christina was amazing with their walks, and I could tell she's very careful and loving with the pets. Our babies absolutely adored her, and I did not worry once based on the updates and photos I received while I was away. We will continue to use Christina as our regular sitter as our babies love her, and we do too!”
2. Elisa L.
“Elisa is amazing. She kept my hyper puppy occupied and tired out. She also left my home cleaner than it was when I left. She sent pictures and provided tons of updates. I highly recommend her.”
3. Carrie M.
“A special thanks to Carrie for staying over and taking such great care of my senior pup, Ozzie, for a few days. Ozzie is primarily blind and partially deaf, and although he sleeps a lot now, he also knows what he wants and will let you know, such as ice cubes in his water, homecooked meals, and he does not like to be left alone for too long. He also takes daily eye and allergy meds. I was worried about going away without him because the past COVID year has increased his separation anxiety. After all, I now work from home and haven't traveled in over a year. Luckily Carrie put all my fears to rest. She sent multiple updates, and Ozzie looked great in all the photos. She let me know how he was feeling and took great care of him. I know this because Ozzie was calm and not stressed out when I came home, and (trust me), Ozzie would have let me know if he had a bad experience! I highly recommend Carrie to anyone who needs a trustworthy, caring, kind, and intelligent pet sitter. It makes a difference to know your pup is safe when you have to travel for business or pleasure! Thanks again, Carrie! I will call you soon!”
4. Sarah M.
“This is our third time using Sarah. She is always very responsive, sends many pictures and spoils our dog. She also leaves the house in great condition. Highly recommend!”

7. Pamela N.
“Pam did a great job staying at my house with my 4-yr-old miniature poodle while I was away. I could tell when I got back that he had a really fun time with her, and he had been super well cared for. She sent lots of adorable photos, too. I would definitely hire her again!”
8. Sarah P.

9. Kylee P.
“Kylee was fantastic. My two dogs liked her right away. She sent pics to us each day and took great care of our dogs and our home. She is pleasant and very focused on the well being of our dogs. I will ask her to sit again and already recommended her to one of my neighbors in my town. A plus for Kylee! Katrin and Sam Peck”
10. Gianni G.
“Gianni was an amazing sitter! She was very responsive and great with my dog, was so great to have the peace of mind while out for the evening. Will definitely rebook with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”
11. Yeni & Elliot C.
“Great job! Elliot asked questions to determine my dog’s needs, and he was good at handling my dog’s anxiety. My dog was happy and safe when I returned home.”
12. Drew R.
“Drew has taken care of our cat and dog before, but this time it was just the cat. He’s great and was able to handle an elderly cat who needs medicine multiple times a day. I would highly recommend Drew for dogs, cats, or both!”
13. Casey M.
About: Hi! I'm Casey, a recent law grad in VA. I absolutely love dogs, and as an owner myself, I understand how tricky it can be managing enough time for your pup with your busy schedule. I'd love to help out, and give your fur friend the love, care, and exercise they deserve. I'm happy to help however I can, so if you need something other than just a general walk, please feel free to reach out. I'm happy to take pets to appointments, give medication, jogs, or anything you need. I hope to ease your mind when it comes to leaving your pet, and promise to give them the absolute best level of care and love. Looking forward to working with you! I am currently studying for the Bar, with availability throughout the week. As a pet owner myself, time for my doggo is a huge part of my schedule. My apartment building offers a fenced in dog park and open yard available for pets. We also have a pet spa. I am happy to crate your dog, if one is provided. Otherwise, they will have access to my full space, with ample play room, water, and love!
14. Sydney M.
“Sydney was PHENOMENAL!! We are so appreciative of her staying with our little boy while we were out of town. Sydney sent us the sweetest updates and photos while we were away. Made us so happy to see. The house was left in wonderful condition and our little boy looked happy and healthy when we got home. 100% recommend and would use Sydney again. Thank you so much, Sydney!”
15. Bryan B.
“We could not have asked for a better person to dogsit Wilma. Bryan provided so many updates and pictures which put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. We knew that she was in good hands and we would recommend him to anyone(unless we need him for Wilma that week)”
16. Sade M.
“This was our first trip away since getting our puppy and Sade took such great care of her! She was happy and healthy when we got home and we got plenty of updates to put our minds at ease. It was like we left her with a member of the family.”
17. Catherine W.
“Catherine has watched my cat, Leo, on multiple occasions. I have always been hesitant to leave Leo with just anyone, and it was a massive comfort to me that he would be left under Catherine's responsible and loving care. She always provided me with regular updates as to how Leo was doing, and she followed any and all instructions I gave her regarding his care. I wish I still lived in her area so that I could continue to utilize her pet care services for Leo, as well as my new puppy!”
18. Tanay S.
“Tanay was great with our dog! Marshal warmed up to him really quickly and was even snuggling with him on the couch on day 2 and he’s not a super snuggly dog. Tanay’s easy going nature helped put me and my fiancé at ease with leaving him with someone other than family for the first time. He sent us pics and updates most days we were gone and made sure to text us with any questions he had. I would definitely recommend Tanay for house and pet sitting.”
19. Vanessa K.
“Vanessa is wonderful! She stayed over at my place watching my pup for two weeks. She’s took excellent care of Sofie and of my apartment. Thanks Vanessa!”
20. Shereen i.
“I’ve had three other dog sitters from rover before, and they’ve all been truly amazing. Shereen, however, was the best sitter I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Our rescue dog is incredibly challenging, high energy, strong, petrified of strangers, and reactive; but Shereen won her heart over, took amazing care of her, handled everything our dog threw at her, sent amazing pictures and updates, knew exactly what to do, and even managed to train her in being less leash reactive! Thank you Shereen for being so amazing! If you can hire Shereen, do it!”
