“Claudia was amazing as usual! She was amazingly flexible with an extended, weird sitting schedule and my pup always seems happy and well cared for on my return. Book with confidence!”

“Mirren was a dream. During our meet and greet, she was attentive to our directions and sweet to our pooches. She communicates well and often and wasn't afraid to ask questions. I really appreciated her easy going manner and ability to deal with unexpected hiccups. We would definitely use her again!”

“Nicole was a wonderful dog sitter. She stayed with my senior girl for two weeks while we were on a trip to Europe. She sent detailed updates and pictures daily, which as an anxious dog mom made me feel so much better. She was a perfect house guest and left the apartment clean and well taken care of. I could tell Bella loved her! During her stay, they ran into neighbors/friends/family who all had nothing but great things to say about Nicole and her care for Bella.”

“Anna is incredible! Extremely trustworthy, kind, attentive, and always on time. Another thing that sets Anna apart is that the quality of her care (number of updates, photos, attentiveness, etc.) hasn’t decreased over time. It’s clear Anna takes her work seriously and is very dedicated. We highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for great care for their pups!”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life — from our childhood Irish Setter, Sadie, to our five cats and three birds. Beyond family pets, I’ve also cared for my own animals, including my boss’s elderly Chihuahua, Tu, who is now a sweet 15‑year‑old “little old lady” that I look after entirely, as well as my pony, Sea Star. I bottle‑fed Sea Star as a child, trained him to ride, and taught him to pull a cart throughout high school. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I dog‑sat for our neighbors for two summers, managing their eight rescue dogs with no issues. I also volunteered to feed and care for a friend’s 13 horses once a week, morning and night, throughout an entire winter. Over the years, I’ve taken responsibility for all of our family pets as well. I’m comfortable with animals of every temperament, size, and background, and many people say I have a natural ability to get animals to warm up to me quickly. I treat every animal as a valuable, sentient creature deserving of respect, patience, and kindness. My priority is always to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I have full availability on Friday and Saturdays. Sundays I am usually busy from 8am-3pm. As for Tuesdays-Thursdays I am available throughout the morning up to 12pm and then my availability reopens at 6:30pm-7pm. I'm specifically looking for housesitting/pet-sitting jobs! I believe that they way a person treats animals reveals their true character so I go out of my way to show honor, patience and tender love to all animals, no matter there species or personalities. I will prioritize creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for every animal. I will also follow all rules and routines to ensure that every animal under my care is comfortable and not thrown off. In a client’s home, I will maintain their established feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any training or behavioral expectations the owner has in place. I make sure water is always fresh, the space stays clean, and the pet receives plenty of attention and any reassurance they need. I’m attentive to body language and comfort levels, and I adjust my interactions to match each animal’s personality and needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double‑check doors, gates, and enclosures, monitor for any signs of stress or illness, and ensure that walks, playtime, and outdoor time are supervised and appropriate for the pet’s age, energy level, and temperament. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for, and for every owner to know their animal is in trustworthy, capable hands.
“Second time having Kylee in our home to sit for our pup and it went really well! Our dog was completely relaxed with her, and she’s usually anxious when we’re gone. Two thumbs up!”

“Shannon was amazing with my dog Cash while I was away for a few days! Shannon provided daily pictures and videos, as well as updates as to how he was doing. I was very impressed with how detailed she was in her updates, and I didn’t worry at all about him while I was away! I highly recommend Shannon!”

“Pamela was a fantastic sitter for our two boys, and on top of that, and lifesaver when our flight home was canceled and we needed care for an extra night. Thank you so much for everything, Pam! We'll be reaching out again!”

“Andrea was such a wonderful sitter for our holiday weekend! She was so responsive and engaging, and I felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of our fur babies while we were away. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for amazing care!”

“Amina was the best Rover we have ever had! Our dog is a very finicky eater and she was able to get him to eat. No small feat. She stayed in touch, was so great with the house and with max. She really loves dogs. Conscientious, considerate and responsible! Our house was built in the 1940’s and has lots of quirks she handled them no problem. Would highly, highly, highly recommend!”

“Kristina-Marie was awesome. She was professional and personable which made both Izzy and I very comfortable. She sent updates and pictures of their adventures during her stay. I was very appreciative of her gentle and caring demeanor towards my precious Izzy girl. Kristina-Marie left my home exactly as she entered and sent pictures of each room before leaving. That was nice. I will absolutely use her services again. I know izzy would love that.”

“Chelsea was absolutely amazing and I felt my little girl was taken care of so well while I was gone. She did a great job of house watching Madeline and caring for her.”

“Kelly dog sat for us for the first time this December. She communicated each day and sent pictures. We have two dogs and one gets medicine. One is a puppy (1 year old) and very energetic, frequently waking very early. She handled all of their needs very well and I could tell they were well cared for when we returned.”

“Mark was amazing with our dog, going above and beyond with him when we were out of town. We have a high energy dog and mark took him on several long walks. He was really great about sending photos too! And he took great care of our cat , checking on her multiple times . We look forward to working with him again soon!”

“I would highly recommend Jess. She comes with a big smile in her face even if is a nasty raining day. She was affectionate towards my little puppy and super responsive to my messages while I was away from home. She sent pictures and let me know everything was going on with my dog. On top of that, she took an AMAZING care of my place. I got home and everything was pristine and clean. I would love to keep working with her.”

“Shereen has been absolutely WONDERFUL! Took pictures everyday and kept me informed everyday! So grateful and thankful to have found her as this was my 1st experience leaving my dog with someone!! Will definitely use her again and again !!! My dog 🐶 loved her too !!!”

Arlington Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t be happier with Nicole! She stayed at our house and took care of our two dogs, Bowie and Nala, and did an amazing job. On top of the usual care, she also handled their medications without any issues. The dogs were happy and comfortable the whole time, and it was clear Nicole genuinely cared about them.

Riggs had the best day with his new friend Timothy! I was going to be away from home for about 14 hours on a Saturday and didn’t want him to have to go to boarding for multiple days if he didn’t have to. Timothy took the time to ask what Riggs enjoys, and it turned out they both love being outside—m, so it was a perfect match. On a beautiful day, he took Riggs on a hike in the morning, and later brought him to see the cherry blossoms and have a picnic on the Mall. I loved knowing Riggs was out enjoying the fresh air, the nice weather, and having such a fun, active day instead of being cooped up inside. When I got back, he was happy, tired, and clearly had the best time. I’m so grateful and would absolutely book with Timothy again!

Wow, oh wow! Chloe is heaven-sent. We think our little pup may have fallen in love with Chloe more than with us! Over 10 days, Chloe not only watched Trixie, but also took care of our house and left it spotless. She washed our pup Trixie too and this is the cleanest Trixie has looked and smelled in a long while. Every day Chloe communicated with us, sent us pictures and we were completely unstressed about our house and about Trixie during our out-of-country Spring Break trip. We can’t recommend Chloe heartily enough. A++++!

Sarah was a fantastic sitter from start to finish. We've had some terrible experiences with sitters over the years, so we know (and appreciate!) a good one when we find one. From my first interaction with Sarah, she was responsive, professional, and very pleasant. She took excellent care of our 3 dogs and older cat. They are a cute crew- but a lot of work! Sarah made it look easy, and she left our home in great shape too. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Caroline and Federico! They took such good care of my dog for a week while I was out of town. They took the time and care to learn about him and his specific needs and routines. I felt so comfortable and safe leaving him with them. He had some medical needs (a hotspot) which they took care of perfectly and kept me informed throughout the stay. They also took fantastic care of my home while I was away. I would definitely book them again! Thank you!!!

Renee took fantastic care of my dog while I was away and clearly loved on him totally! She sent great videos of their walking adventures and him playing. The house was in terrific condition when I got home. I look forward to booking with Renee again when I travel. I trust her to keep my fur child safe and happy. Thanks Renee!

Mari was phenomenal! She is so kind and sweet, and extremely attentive. Her communication was top notch—we received daily updates both morning and evening, and she was very mindful of all the instructions we left her. She made note of all our concerns and reassured us without prompting about the things we had shared with her. It was so reassuring to know our pets were so well taken care of while we were away. We love Mari and so do our fur-babies!
