“We reached out to Tara again for a last minute drop in as we were at all day events this whole weekend. Tara was very flexible in checking in on our little guy we totally recommend!”

“Spencer & Julia took great care of my cat and provided a ton of photos during their time with him! They offered plenty of pets, treats, and cuddles and gave me peace of mind while I was on vacation!”

“This was the first time we had ever used Rover. We booked Amanda to take care of our dog . She was OUTSTANDING! She kept us informed through texts, e-mails, and pictures the whole time we were gone. Amanda made sure to do a meet and greet before hand so he was comfortable and she quickly won him over! We've will absolutely book her for our next vacation. We would highly recommend her for anyone wanting the best care for their fur babies.”

“Daniel was responsive, professional, and great with our dog who can be somewhat shy. He braved the triple digit temperatures to ensure she was getting out for bathroom breaks. Highly recommend!”

“Ann was so great taking care of my cat while I was gone. She provided great photos and was very good with communication! I could tell she cared for my cat like she was one of her own.”

“Samantha took such good care of my babies while I was away on a trip. She is playful, caring, and truly attentive. She sent us pictures every day and communicated everything in great detail. When one of my dogs started showing signs of ear irritation, she noticed it right away and acted quickly her judgment made us feel completely at ease. We have three dogs, and she did an amazing job with all of them. Highly recommend her!”

“Dominique is amazing. He looked after our three legged dog during the Christmas holidays, visiting three times a day. He understands and cares about dogs with special needs. Highly recommended!”

“Lydia was terrific. Last-minute, I needed someone to watch my cat while my movers were working, which can be stressful for an animal, and for four hours she watched him and sought to keep him calm, all while maintaining a great attitude.”

“Iryna was a wonderful sitter for my cat. She was very communicative and thorough. Maybe even more impressive, she engaged with my demanding, geriatric cat during her visits, getting her to play a little each day. My cat approved of her as well, eventually bestowing the great honor of letting Iryna pet her.”

“My cat Hannah was well taken care of and in good hands while I was away! Lisa gave great drop-in visits and left Rover cards to keep me updated. Thanks for a reliable service!”

“Paul took great care of our two cats while we were away. He asked good questions, made sure he knew everything he needed to, was very courteous, and made sure we got regular updates. We felt completely at ease and confident that our cats were well taken care of. I would recommend Paul to any potential clients.”

“Shereen was amazing! Her love for animals is so apparent and she took excellent care of our cat. From the initial meeting to the actual visits, Shereen was professional and kind. I could tell our cat loved her and trusted her. Will 100% be using her again!”

About: I’ve owned my dog for 8 years and have volunteered at dog shelters as a dog walker for over 7 years. I have also completed Pat Miller’s Level 1 dog training academy. I have experience with reactive and fearful dogs. I work full time, but I can walk dogs on my lunch break or after work. I use force free training and positive reinforcement with my dog. I use force free training with my dog, so I’m not comfortable with choke/prong/shock collars. I use positive reinforcement to get the desired behavior. I have experience with reactive and fearful dogs.
“John dropped in to check on my cat while I was away from him for the first time. He was very diligent about following instructions, wrote up excellent notes on the visit, and was good about communicating with me. I was comfortable that my cat was in good hands!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Arlington Heights
Michelle was an excellent cat-sitter for my two boys while I was gone for a week. I appreciated her attention to detail, responsiveness and proactiveness (e.g., cleaning up a hairball situation without being asked, etc!). She was very easy to communicate with and I would definitely recommend her services!!

Amanda was incredible!!! We completely forgot to send over the pet care instructions and were unable to communicate due to not having service and she still did literally every single thing that we told her about at the meet and greet. She was kind and attentive and the animals all loved her!
