“Korrey did a wonderful job taking care of our German Shepherd Quincy and hound mix Sydney while we were on vacation for a week. Sydney is a little skittish towards new people, but she warmed right up to Korrey - he has very calm energy. Korrey administered several medications for the dogs and also picked up the dog poop in the backyard. He followed all instructions, sent a few pictures, and I never had any issues getting in touch with him. I was nice to be on vacation and not have to worry about our pups at all!”

About: I love to care for all animals. I think they’re the most innocent and precious things we’ve got in this world and we should never take them for granted. She kept us updated with adorable photos of Bunny playing, going on walks, and relaxing at home, along with thoughtful texts and funny stories that gave us so much peace of mind. She also cared for our hermit crab, Mittens, watered our hydroponic microgreens and outdoor plants, and treated everything with such care. About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting. I always make sure that I understand the instructions that I’m given and maintain clear communication with the owner if I have any questions. I never make any assumptions and always make sure that the owner is comfortable with any decisions that need to be made.

About: I've been around pets my entire life. I grew up with at least two dogs in the household at all times and have learned to care for them as puppies until it was their time to go. I am often asked to care for family and friends' animals I work remote full time, so my availability is open. I can be available on short notice for anything from a simple walk around the neighborhood to overnight care. Like humans, pets have their personalities, and I will be sure to care for them. If they are energetic and love to play, so am I. If they are in their senior years, I will tend to their needs and give them what they need and deserve.
