“It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

About: I previously owned a wonderful dog named Ollie, who taught me just how important love, patience, and routine are when it comes to pet care. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I am readily available to give your dog long walks, playtime, or simply lots of attention and cuddles. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and have gates that I can setup inside the house if need be. I will follow any instructions given for the care of your pet.

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I show a lot of love and affection to pups and will keep them occupied and hopefully burn some of their energy playing and going on walks/runs!

“Shayla is the absolute best! She is a true professional and so warm and awesome. We are incredibly grateful to have found her. We have 2 dogs (4 years & 10mos) who both adore her. Our puppy was incredibly shy but just a couple days with Shayla and she really came out of her shell. Shayla has such a natural gift for caring for animals and her house has an awesome yard and secure setup. We let her know about our concerns about our older dog being an escape artist and she walked us through the various measures in place to ensure his safety including she has even worked on threshold manners when him so he doesn’t walk through the door until he’s told it’s okay to. She also knows just how to manage my puppy’s anxiety and doesn’t see her anxiety as a hassle but is instead so empathetic and dedicated to building her confidence. She introduced our dogs to her dogs over time and in a way that didn’t stress my puppy out. She takes them on lots of walks and they come back from day care happy and tired!”
