Doggy Day Care Leeway

About: Raising a dachshund, a large Pitbull mix, and caring for friends' pets, from playful puppies to senior dogs, have given me extensive canine experience. I am caring, attentive, and flexible, tailor my approach to meet your dog's unique needs and personality. Working from home as well as my own need for daily walks, gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for pets through out the week. I prioritize reliability, trustworthiness, and safety when caring for pets. I can follow specific instructions, ensure a secure environment, and provide attentive, care to meet their needs.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was very young, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a pug, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently a nursing student on break, and most of my classes during the semester are online. This means I’m home full-time on all non-clinical days and have plenty of time to give your pets my full attention. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. Safety is always my top priority. I grew up with dogs and currently have a sweet pug, so I’m very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and personalities. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure dogs are supervised, fed on schedule, and kept in a safe environment. I’m happy to crate your dog if needed, follow any routines you prefer, and give your pup plenty of love and attention while you’re away.

“Prisila was truly awesome. She was communicative and very attentive to our dogs. One is 14+ years old and the other is 5+ months old. We were up in the area for our son’s graduation from The Basic School at Quantico. Prisila took excellent care of our dogs, shared their activities and pictures with us, all while juggling their different needs and schedules. We were able to fully enjoy our son’s graduation because we knew the dogs were happy with Prisila and they were being well-cared for. We would absolutely take our dogs back to Prisila. About: I had two dogs growing up (Snowball and Mocha) and in recent years, have dog sat for friends, friends, and for Rover clients. It's rewarding and super fun for me! I enjoy the long walks in my neighborhood (I live in an awesome neighborhood for that) and lots of cuddles/belly rubs with the dogs I am sitting! I work from home most of the week and have plenty of time during the day for neighborhood strolls/walks with my rover pups. I love going for walks to take a break so would take the dog out at least 3 or 4 times a day with me. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom/2 floor condo with a balcony. The dog would have access to the first floor. We have hard wood floors, a ton of really great light and are on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators in this building. We have a ton of neighbors who have dogs, an elementary school near by with a nice track/green space, and lots of side walk space for walks.

Trusting your most precious pet with a stranger can be difficult but she was assuring, communicative, kept me updated and I really felt my senior dog with many needs felt comfortable and safe in her care. Many other dog care options have many dogs of mixed sizes and activity levels in large areas where they can play and be very active. But a small, more fragile dog really needs a particular place where they can be safe and comfortable, so Devora’s home really was a perfect fit for this niche that put my mind at ease and allowed my dog to have a stable space he could relax without anxiety at the times we weren’t able to take him along with us. I would absolutely recommend Devora for any pet care services she offers.”

Susan has a beautiful yard for the dogs to run around and play, and was fantastic at keeping in touch; sending us videos and photos throughout the day. We will definitely ask Susan to dogsit for us again in the near future!”
