“Emily was great with our young pup, Jack! She genuinely enjoyed his time with him and he came back to us super relaxed! Would love to have Emily sit Jack in her home again.”

“Guy helped us out when we needed a Doggie Day Care while we were visiting Arlington National Cemetery for an interment. We didn't know how long the 3 ceremonies would take, and he told us that he would help us for whatever we needed. With all that was going on for us, he offered comfort in taking care of our beloved Toby.”

“Kerstyn was great today with our recently adopted pup Ginger! She made her feel right at home and helped create a fun environment especially with her dog Freya who she played with. I’m sure we will have Ginger go back to visit soon!”

“Miguel & Lisa have been absolutely phenomenal! My dog couldn’t wait to come back the second day. & They handled him eating a gallon of cat food so graciously. I wasn’t worried at all about Jäger while he was with them all day. Definitely will be a regular!”

“Pickles LOVED her day spent with Katerine & Brian! We received updates and pictures of Pickles throughout her day! This is the first time Pickles has ever been left with anyone other than family or friends, and naturally we were nervous - but the updates truly helped us feel at ease! Thanks again, we would definitely reach out to Katerine for her service again, while in the DC area!”

“Did an awesome job with my young energetic puppy! And was very communicative about timing with pickup due to some family responsibilities. I really appreciated her communication and updates”

“I am super happy with this pet sitter. This is her full time retirement job so my dog receives the care, stimulation, and attention it needs in a safe and comfortable environment. I can’t use conventional daycares since my dog is a foster and there are increased risks of fights and injuries with many dogs and not enough one on one attention. Her yard has a high and fully secured fence and is big enough to run around in for my husky. She owns a dog that is very friendly which helps give my dog the company and exercise he needs from playing tag in the yard. Huskies have high exercise needs and by the end of the day my husky is tired which is great and less work for me to do. My dog is also slightly special needs and inclined towards seizures and she was very accommodating and administered his medicine when I didn’t have time to get to it one morning. She is quick and diligent with responses and kept track of everything through the day so I got a report from rover that told me how many times he peed or pooped that day, as well as videos and pictures. This will be my go-to for daycare and pet sitting needs for as long as I have my foster dog. Would highly recommend if you want an ideal place to leave your dog where you can be assured that it will be safe and receive full attention and care.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for my dogs! She took excellent care of them and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and little notes, which really reassured me that my pups were happy, safe, and well cared for. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly caring with animals.”

About: I’ve been around and cared for dogs all of my life. I work from home with a nice fenced backyard and I live across the street from Bluemont park with lots of fields and trails for exploring. I have a 9 year old golden Cavalier (Clover) and we go on long walks in the park and around the neighborhood. Your dog will be allowed on the furniture and the bed if you like or in their crate when needed if that is your preference. I’m home all day and give lots of attention to the dogs I care for. I will only care for one dog at a time along with my dog. I am self employed and work from home so your dog will get lots of attention. Your dog will rarely be left alone and if so not for a long time. I take daily walks (2 times a day) so that is already part of my routine. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door if your dog likes to use that. I also have a 9 year old golden Cavalier to keep your dog company.
“Donna was very warm and caring towards our dog. She was very thoughtful in ensuring our dog felt comfortable and we really appreciated it. She was also fantastic in communicating with us! She clearly loves dogs and we highly recommend her!”

“Andrew kept my boy, Jackson, all day while I went to work and then attended a play in the evening. Unfortunately, I found that the play was going to run longer than I had anticipated - so I sent Andrew a message at intermission to let him know that I would be about a half hour later than our scheduled time for me to pick up Jackson. He was very accommodating and I was very appreciative of his flexibility when something unexpected popped up. Thank you, Andrew!”

About: I love taking care of dogs and the liveliness they bring to any household. I've taken care of multiple dogs at once before and have experience feeding them medicine as well! I'm available almost all hours of the day as I work from home. Having pets around is great because I love the comfort they bring when it's just me in the house. I have a fenced in backyard, along with a sliding glass door to the backyard. I have multiple floors in my house so pets can roam to their heart's content.
“Corey and Nyla were great with Lola and Coco. They put me at ease with their experience, approach and good communication. They were very sweet to our rescue dogs who are still learning the ropes of a home and sought to make them feel comfortable. We will definitely look to them for future daycare and boarding needs.”

“We had a great experience from booking (somewhat last minute) through day-of coordination, Leila was really easy to communicate with and we felt confident our pup was in good hands! Will definitely aim to book with Leila again!”

“Crystal was absolutely amazing. First of all she was very flexible, and I can’t thank her enough for that alone. On top of it Spencer had an absolutely awesome time, as evidenced by the many adorable photos she was kind enough to send. Crystal, thank you so much for taking care of Spencer, and I hope you gets to see you again. I really appreciate you taking care of him.”

I am so grateful for Karol who took such good care of my 11 month old active dog. She communicated well throughout the day, sent pictures, and was very kind and caring to my dog that is not used to being left with others. I highly recommend Karol and appreciate her help.
