“It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

She introduced our dogs to her dogs over time and in a way that didn’t stress my puppy out. She takes them on lots of walks and they come back from day care happy and tired!”

About: My interest in dogs started 5 years when I became a dog musher in the winters! Then I signed up as a weekly volunteer with my local dog shelter. And I take the shelter dogs on fun field trips (hikes, parks, canoeing on the potomac- you name it)! I don't have pets of my own so my time is dedicated fully to other people's dogs and cats. I also work part time from home and have a very flexible schedule. I will make sure I understand you and your dog's needs, and work together as a team and your dog has a super fun adventure and time will fly!

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I will have no more than 2 dogs under my personal care at any given time. I have a 10 year old Siberian Husky who would love to meet new friends. We live in North Arlington near McLean, and our home has a Huge Fenced In Backyard with ample amount of room for all dogs to run, play and explore. I have been a dog owner for about 25 years. I have experience with puppies and dogs under 50 lbs. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and can work with your puppy/ dog on basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay and Come. I am home full time every day. I keep a very flexible schedule to meet the needs of your dog and my girl at all times. if for some reason I step out, one of my parents will typically be home to supervise when needed. I have a calm, laid-back approach and love taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood, and for many play times in my Large fully fenced in yard. As I live with my parents, there is a total of 2 dogs inside the home at any given time as they have a small French bull dog ( I am not responsible for him) * DOGS UNDER MY CARE* I take only 1 client at a time. This means that I will only be responsible for no more than 2 dogs at any given time. I will only be responsible for my husky and your dog. * FEEDING TIMES* I feed the dogs separately in their own space. I provide my girl and any clients dogs with fresh water throughout the day/ night, multiple short walks daily and puzzle games. CRATING: I do not crate my girl but if you would like I can crate your dog at night. * REQUIRED VACCINATIONS* I require Proof of age appropriate vaccinations for all dogs 4 months of age and above.
