Hey everyone! I'm Emma. I graduated from James Madison University in August 2019 and moved up to the Arlington area shortly after. I house/pet/baby sat in the neighborhood I grew up in in Richmond all through middle and high school and I absolutely loved it. Growing up, my family wasn't in a position to have a dog (no matter how desperately I wanted one) so petsitting has always been my outlet for all my furry affection. I'd love to meet you and your furry family if it sounds like I could be a good fit for you all!

Emma took our last minute request so that we could do a family outing. Bentley was well taken care of, had good walks, and got some relaxation. I'm hoping that my mellow guy got along well with her dog. I would definitely use Emma again.

Emma generously agreed to watch Ellie after my previous sitter cancelled unexpectedly. Her communication was great and Ellie came home happy and tired.
Emma and her husband took great care of our dog, and sent us cute pictures and helpful updates. They were communicative throughout the process and flexible with our drop-off and pickup times. We loved that our pup had a built in buddy and outdoor space to run around. Would highly recommend!
Skye had an amazing time with Emma who was awesome to work with. We booked last minute when plans changed and she made it very easy on us. Skye came home happy and exhausted. Will definitely use again

Schedule
I work a more or less 9-5 schedule and am in the office ~3 days a week and Jay works 7a-3p from home so we have a lot of flexibility to be able to keep your pet's routines on track to help make them feel most comfortable during their stay.

We have a fenced in yard to accommodate any outside needs and the space is open for your pets to make themselves feel at home and explore. Having a dog of my own I know the level of care I would expect him to receive and treat your pups as if they were my own.

A typical day
We're really lucky that our neighborhood has a couple incredible parks and the area is relatively hilly so walks are always an adventure at our house. We also have a fenced in yard so, for dogs who prefer getting their wiggles out through some zoomies and fetch, that's also an option. We love hiking so if your dog shares that joy we'd love a hiking buddy but we also enjoy sitting in the living room watching a movie and getting some snuggles. We like to match the energy of the dogs we look after and let them to push us to shake things up.
