About: I’ve taken care of a multitude of different dogs and cats throughout my life - whether it be for friends, neighbors, family, or even coworkers! I have lots of experience in cat care - including grooming, nail trimming, and oral medications. I have 3 cats of my own, so I’m very adaptive to all sorts of cat personalities! My experience with dog care is just as plentiful! I’ve taken many on fun walks, played fetch, groomed fur, and dispensed oral medication. I’m rather good when it comes to pulling on leashes, and I also have experience training young puppies. I’m available at all times during the week! Whether you’re looking for someone to check in on your pup to feed, give bathroom breaks, groom, or play with, I’m available morning, afternoon and evening! The same applies to kitty owners! I always make sure all fenced in homes are securely locked in the event a dog wants to play outside. All leashes and collars will be checked before walks, and if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs I will be sure to maintain a safe space between myself and other owners. As for cats, I always make sure that all doors are quickly closed and closed all the way to prevent any indoor kitties from escaping. If your cat is outdoor/indoor, I’ll make sure they get back inside safe and sound!

My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. From the moment I dropped Hamilton off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such amazing hands. She sent me daily photos and checked in throughout the day with updates on everything he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I’ve honestly never seen Hamilton happier. He looked so comfortable, loved, and genuinely excited to be there, I think he was actually a little sad to leave, lol. It was so obvious that McKinley treated him like he was her own, and that meant the world to me. If you’re looking for someone who will truly care for your pet, keep you updated, and go above and beyond, McKinley is the person to book. “Harley was so happy to go back to Jennifer and her wonderful family for a long weekend. He gets showered with love by Jennifer, her sweet daughter Ramsey, and Grandmom Anne! I’m so happy he gets a happy easy-going doggy friend in Khali, and experience with Pursey the cat. It’s so nice knowing that he is so beautifully cared for. Jennifer was extra kind this time, giving him medicine and more walks since he couldn’t run around her spacious front yard due to a healing injury. We love getting updates and adorable pictures throughout his time there. I’m not sure Harley really wanted to leave!”

Leo can be picky about rain, lazy when it’s hot, and a little particular about his eating (clean dish every time!), but John handled everything so wonderfully. He made sure Leo got his walks (adjusting for weather!), gave him all the love, and kept us constantly updated with sweet photos and notes that really gave us peace of mind while we traveled. Coming home to such a happy and relaxed pup says it all. Truly grateful for the care, attention, and thoughtfulness John showed.
