About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I am a college student currently so my schedule is quite interesting! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.

About: Hello! I'm Valentina! I have experience caring for pets of different ages and needs, including my 10 year old cat and my sister’s 4 year old dog. Most recently, I cared for a Giant Schnauzer puppy right through his crazy growth spurt, from the day he came home at 3 months old all the way until he was 7 months old! Working with a high energy, big pup takes a lot of patience, consistency, and structure, so I kept him on a solid daily routine with twice a day walks to burn off that puppy energy and practice good leash manners. I’m also a very active person and genuinely enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying on the move, so I love being able to bring that energy and enthusiasm into caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule and I’m generally available for walks and drop-in visits in the morning from 7:30 to 9:30 AM and in the afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. I’m happy to be flexible and work around your pet’s routine whenever possible. A little advance notice is always appreciated so I can plan my day and make sure I can give your pup the time, care, and attention they deserve. I love caring for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their familiar routine. I find that pets tend to feel more relaxed and at ease in their own space, especially when their owners are away. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, or any special instructions, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away.

About: I’ve had and watched a variety of pets, from small and large dogs to rabbits and turtles. I currently cannot have pets, so I will love yours as my own! As someone in a remote position, I have lots of flexibility needed to take care of your sweet pets. I am able to accommodate many timelines and needs! About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. As an elementary school teacher, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Having loved my own dog, Stella, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family member while you’re away. I’ve cared for large dogs, bully breeds, senior dogs, and puppies, and I’ve volunteered and fostered for animal rescues. I’m happy to provide overnight care and can host small pets (caged or contained) in my home, while offering in-home visits for dogs and cats. My goal is to give more than just food and walks; I provide love, attention, and companionship so every pet feels happy and cared for. I currently work full-time as a teacher. Workdays are usually busy from 8:00-5:00. My weekends and holidays are flexible. During weekends and holiday breaks (FCPS schedule currently), I'm free to create my own schedule and would base it on the pet's needs first. I can't currently take dogs or cats into my own home, but I can care for them out of the comfort of their own home. That might mean petsitting/housesitting, or if your pet is comfortable sleeping alone overnight, I can accommodate their needs with visits instead of sleeping over. As for other pets, I can take those into my home for care, or out of your home.
